I did mention to you all that I would have some surprises coming up, didn't I? Well one of them is me finally getting on the schedule of food blogging regularly again. And I couldn't think of a better way to get back in the swing of things then to make a recipe, that I'm shocked I never made before on here. Lasagna.
I'm going to be completely honest with you guys, I haven't eaten or made a homemade lasagna in about 5 to 6 years.
But that doesn't mean I forgot how to make it like a pro. Because of that, I search over the web to get inspiration for a recipe to combine with the one that my mom already gave me.
This lasagna is fairly simple to make and complete if you time on your hands to prepare the sauce. The sauce consists of delicious
I have to say that I have been doing well with my food choices, but with the last three days, it was the weekend, and I didn’t do so well. I am a bit embarrassed of my choices over the
I am sure that everyone of you have heard about aliens and UFOs. Indeed, we all have heard about the famous case of aliens and UFOs in Roswell, New Mexico. Most people might be interested in the topic of aliens, but I know that the majority of you just think of it as rumours and the existence of them are impossible. Therefore, I am standing here in front all of you to make you change your perspective. I am strongly confident that I have found the evidence of their real existence to convince all of you.
My experience baking extends back to when I was four or five years old and I would “help” my mom bake chocolate chip cookies. These cookies have always been a signature dish of my mother’s and they are delicious. A couple of years later I remember baking an apple crisp by myself while my mom was making dinner but close at hand just in case I needed help. From these early days of baking, I learned to follow a recipe with ease and bake almost anything I wanted to that our home kitchen and kitchen-aid mixer could handle. One story that truly demonstrates my ability to bake is the one I will be recounting in this narrative. Because I have baked all my life I am literate when it comes to baking.

When the spaghetti is done boiling, drain hot water and place in cool water. In another pot, melt a stick of butter then pour the blended mix into the pot and let it simmer. Taste the mix, add salt, and pepper if you feel it needs some, then drain and put the spaghetti into the pot and mix it into the sauce. Pour 3-4 cups of milk and sour cream and let it boil for 10-15 minutes. Taste it once again add milk, salt, and/or pepper if you think it needs any then turn flame down to low or off. Let it cool for 5 minutes. Put cheese on top and let it melt. The cheese can stay on top or be mixed in. The cheese can be peeled off the entire block, chopped, sliced, or shredded.
I have been saving that stuff for a rainy day and I still haven't gotten around to using it because I can't quite think of what to make.
great option for brunch on a weekend, as well as a way to use up leftover sausage
Today, I’m going to do something quite different from what I usually do. You’ll learn a new recipe and a few things about the foodie world. What are the tiny differences that exist? Like Star Wars and Star Trek. I take it back, it’s a world of difference. Our topic; Compote. Now, a little back story.
New foods as much as I can afford to do, and can proudly say my brother has gone from 4 or 5 things to trying almost everything I make that is new, and he has been encouraged to try more foods anyone makes something he hasn't had before. And every new dish is a continuous feel of pride and joy for doing one of the many things I love. That's why I want to be a chef, to continue having that feeling whenever i cook for someone, and bring new recipes into the world. There is a dish I learned a couple of years ago, which wasn't a very popular dish where I come from, Steak and Blue cheese Bruschetta (one of my best dishes). Due to my mother's allergies to blue cheese, it needed to be different. So I did research on cheeses to find that similar texture and flavor, I found feta cheese, and goat cheese. I decided that day to use the goat cheese cause I felt the feta would give a overwhelming flavor and that wasn't what I wanted. To this day I still make that dish (with both feta and goat cheese, but not at the same time) and my mother and sister talk about how they can't make it like I can. Whenever that recipe is on the table, you always know I was the one who made
I already started on the dessert!" clapped her hands together in excitement. "Apple pie with cinnamon. I just couldn't help myself. I haven't had pie in ages. You get tired of green tea mochi ice cream after a while."
I do not cook very much but I have learned to cook meatloaf for my family and they love it!
For example, using a leftover coffee can for loose nails or screws, or even washing and reusing a plastic zip-loc bag instead of throwing it in the garbage. Thrift shopping is a way of reusing someone else’s unwanted goods. As I spoke about in an earlier speech about thrifting, I included many locations and ways to thrift, also the benefits to the shopper and the donator. One place in particular was shopping at the local boys and girls club. I personally shop there, keeping my eyes open for a good deal. For example, the pair of jeans that I am wearing today was purchased from this store just a few months ago. I paid only $8.00 for this pair of Lucky Jeans and according to buckle.com, a retailer for lucky jeans the retail price is $99.00 that is a savings to me of $91.00.I am not the type to worry about name brands, but quality usually does cost more. If I can get a quality pair of jeans at a fraction on the price, I am glad to shop at the thrift store. I am thankful to the person that made the donation of the lucky jeans and they can benefit from that donation. According to the IRS webpage, IRS. Gov it explains that an individual can donate items like clothing, household furniture and furnishings, a car or boat, even taxidermy. The donations are appraised, by the donator, and recorded. At the time of filing taxes if the donation equals at least $500 for the year, the donator may take advantage of the
When it comes down to feeding your body and mind, nothing is superior to preparing your food from scratch, with quality ingredients and served with love. If you have never experienced this phenomenon then try it out for 90 days and see how you feel. Come to that, see how your family feels as you work together in the kitchen to create a level of harmony and good health that is only possible when food is prepared in a loving manner, and eaten slowly with others. OK, so no excuses about time and schedules and…and…and. Instead let’s take a look at why preparing your food is a win-win situation for everyone.
