The Spoils of Jerusalem is a very interesting sculpture. This sculpture was constructed in c. AD.82 by Emperor Domitian after the death of his oldest brother Titus, to show off Titus' victory over the siege of Jerusalem (Khan, n.d). The relief sculpture is located within the "Arch of Titus" and it represents the victories of Domitian's father and his brother in the Jewish War (Cartwright, 2013).It is relief sculpture, which means that it is attached to a background and can only be viewed from one side (Sporre, 2015). The original sculpture is located within the Arch of Titus, in Rome, which is a beautiful piece of art in its self.

After his first visit to Afghanistan during the first few weeks of the Soviet Invasion, he became involved in supporting the mujahdeen, a ruling party in Afghanistan at the time. After this point, he became heavily involved in fighting jihad, or holy war, and began to build up his own military training camps (Frontline: A biography). Beginning in his childhood, Osama was inundated with a strict Islamic way of life. After, the Soviets left not shortly after the United States came and establish military bases in the homeland of bin Laden in conjecture to the First Gulf Wars. The actions of the United States infuriated bin Laden because the United States intruded to one of Islam’s holiest shrines. In addition, bin Laden isolation from the Saudi ruling family causing him launch a series of bombings directed at the United States embassies, ships, barracks, and then the awful attacks on New York (twin towers) and Washington in 2001. War brings out the brutality in men and leads to the death of soldiers and innocent bystanders. War is expensive and has historically led to the failure of stable economies. However, I do believe that the United States is justified in going to war in Afghanistan. He stated that "to kill Americans and their allies, both civil and military, is an individual duty of every Muslim who is able, in any country where this is possible."
