In All-Star Superman, Lex Luthor succeeds in his plan to slowly kill Superman by overloading his cellular structure when he goes on a rescue mission to save Leo Quintum and his team while they attempt to explore the sun. Quintum and Superman become trusted companions throughout the comic book as they try to find a way to prepare for a world without Superman. Everyone knows that Lex Luthor is the archenemy of Superman. He is a villainous mastermind obsessed with power and defeating Superman. It is established throughout All-Star Superman that Lex Luthor is a terrible person. He sees the world as a competition and Superman as his main rival. He kills Superman, who saved countless lives and did so much good for the world, because he wanted to eliminate his competitor and gain power and influence. Leo Quintum is a mysterious character who has never appeared in any other Superman comic series. We do not know much about him other than his name and that he is a genius who wants to make a better world.
Throughout All Star Superman, Leo Quintum and Lex Luthor are shown to be incredible geniuses. Lex is a vain, evil genius who uses his amazing intellect to gain power and prove that he is better than Superman, whereas

Quintum tells Superman: “I could be the devil himself for all you know,” but Superman hands over his genetic information, telling him “this is how much I trust you, Leo.”(242). Quintum shows his surprise at Superman’s trust, because he used to be Lex Luthor, a vile, power hungry man who wanted to take over the world. Superman would never have given his genetic code to the present Lex because he knows that he would use it to rule the world. Superman knows that Quintum is Luthor, but he recognizes that he has changed and become a better man, so he trusts that he will do the right thing with his genetic
They just got the idea of making Superman from Hercules cause there are a lot of similarities and differences. They got the idea of Hercules but wanted to change it a bit so it doesn't exactly look like it was from the movie Hercules. The conflict is the thing too cause they both verse supernatural people with weird strong powers. Superman's storyline is no different
Superman, also known as Clark Kent, is the most popular modern day hero. Superman spent most of his time saving people from natural disasters and corrupt businessmen. He would level slums to force the city to build decent housing, and he would use his powers to terrorize munitions makers.
Have you heard of Superman and his strange ways well here is a texet and how the
The film begins with Bruce Wayne, Batman, recalling his parent’s murder. We are introduced to an older dark Batman who brands and kills criminals. Throughout the film, we are reminded of the destruction that superman has caused in Metropolis when he indirectly destroyed the city. Lex Luthor takes advantage of the situation by manipulating Batman to hate Superman (Clark Kent), and capturing Superman's mother forcing the heroes to fight each other. Furthermore, the character Bruce Wayne, in Batman v Superman (BVS), illustrates a clear example of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) because of evidence of flashbacks, impulsive behavior and his inability to sleep.
Batman and Superman are poles apart, but, when it comes to certain aspects of their lives, they can be found to be similar. Both Batman and Superman are extremely popular comic book superheroes who have had multiple television shows and movies made about them. Batman and Superman show up at similar times in the comic book world and are published in the same comic book brand: DC Comics. Moreover, they both have superhero costumes and despite the color themes, the costumes follow the pattern of having their logo on their chest followed with a cape in the back. They are also alike in terms of their secret identities. Batman is actually Bruce Wayne and Superman is actually Clark Kent and they both live normal lives when they are not out saving them. Both of these characters have childhoods where both men did not know their parents very well because their parents died when they were young, making both of them orphans. When they start
Batman and Superman are both very popular Superheroes that have many DC fanatics behind them. Each has their own style and methods of achieving justice. Superman is an authentic superhero with great powers and Batman is just a crime fighter with technology and money. In the end, Superman should be considered a better hero than Batman.
Sherman Alexie grew up on an Indian reservation. Alexie was lucky. His father loved to read. This encouraged Alexie as a young child to look at books. His first experience was with a Superman comic book. He would look at the pictures and say what the pictures represented. Thus, he eventually was able to actually read the words.

Superman and sherman alexie are both very kind and helpful. Superman and alexie both had very hard lives as kids. They both failed at something and at some point of there life they were very powerful.
Some think that government sets forth too many rules and regulations for people which in reality, limits their freedom. On the opposite end of the spectrum, other people believe that the government sets rules and boundaries that bring order to the country and without rules, the world would be chaotic. In TDKR, Bruce Wayne (Batman) and Clark Kent (Superman) represent both ends. Batman explains Superman’s side by saying, “ yes--you always say yes--to any one with a badge-- or a flag--" (187). Basically, Superman is all about what the government wants and stops at nothing to follow the rules that come with the government.
Watching their fellow tossed aside without a second glance, several looks of fear emerged upon the faces of the others that needed to be removed. Amongst all of them, only one truly knew who the person bearing the crest of House El was- Lex Luthor. But at that moment, he couldn't recognise the stony faced hero before. Many years ago, his creation could be easily recognised due to his brash and loud nature, not the deathly silence he is shrouded in now.
The character that I saw as the most powerful and the character that was most looked up to by several people was Superman. He was obviously considered the most powerful being before Doctor Manhattan was introduced in Watchmen. Superman has several powers which include superhuman strength, x-ray vision and he is also able to fly. They have several differences such as Doctor Manhattan has lost most of his humanity and Superman is not even a human but he is trying to form a connection with his humanity. Although there is a part of the comic where Doctor Manhattan is looking into a mirror and says “ sometimes I look at myself and think how did things get so tangled up.” ( Moore and Gibbons 3:10) I think that the mistakes that people make is what makes us more human and this is the small piece of humanity that Doctor Manhattan still contains.
Superman has powers like flying, x-rays, and heat vision. With his power Superman faces responsibilities and difficulties in calm and adequate ways. The opposite of Batman is that he is more aggressive and very impulsive in the moment to attack. They are very easily distinguished either in a comic book or a movie for their customs in different colors. Batman outfit is gray with black and a mask which anyone could determine the evil and dark he represents by the outside. Superman is in a brightest outfit representing America and the kind a hero they will choose definitely to fight crime. Frank Miller only wanted to bring Batman a little bit different with other perceptions including his principal rival Superman to make the story interesting and give the opportunity for many readers to notice wrong actions from our comic heroes.
In the 2013 film Man of Steel, Henry Cavill, an up and coming British actor, portrayed Kal-El. Mr. Cavill brought a cool and quiet, yet at times very detached and alien performance that did not elicit a similar sentiment from me as did Mr. Reeve’s portrayal. This was due in part to the story being retooled in favor of a bold retelling of his origins. The story now focused on him being an alien from a distant planet whose attempts to integrate into society are further complicated because he feels humanity is not ready to accept him for who he is and what that represents. The change to the storytelling dynamic also afforded a closer look at the main protagonist’s relationship with both his birth father, Jor-El and his adoptive father on Earth, Jonathan Kent. Also, in comparison to Superman The Movie, the opening sequences of Man of Steel provided a more intimate portrait of the last days of Krypton, his home planet. This of course served to better flesh out more of the backstory for Kal-El and provided new insight into what had become a relatively one dimensional character in the comic books over the years. The apparent aim was to create a connection with this larger than life character that we as the audience would come to understand in ways that went simply beyond knowing the persona of Superman.
