Have you ever wondered what famous person you would want to meet? What you would want to do with them, or talk about, or where would you be? Let me tell you about how my encounter would be. I chose a famous rapper that goes by the name “Lil Uzi Vert” his real name is Symere Woods but that is his rapper name. He is one of my favorite rappers. I chose him because in my opinion, he is unique. He is not like any rapper who shows how rich he is. He’s a man with a good heart. His music videos are unique for a rap music video. I like his style and how he stands out from a crowd. If I were to meet him, It would be at the mall. There would be a meet and greet and he would pick a few people to spend time with and get to know him. We would either
The book I chose to read is Tupac Shakur:The Life & Times of an American Icon. This book hasn’t been out for very long. It’s publication date was January 26, 2010 so it is a somewhat newer book. Fred and Tayannah examined very closely and did a great deal of research to write this book. They had to examine all the theories and myths about Tupac Shakur. So i’m guessing you can imagine how hard they worked to write & publish this biography.
Throughout a person’s life, they have to deal with obstacles thrown at them from every direction. The methods of dealing with these obstacles vary from person to person. Nonetheless, people have to deal with these obstacles, and the ways they combat the problems may alter the outcome of it. Ralph Marston stated that one should not allow themselves to become one of their obstacles. With this, the surroundings of a person and their obstacle, as well as the process in which they deal with them, contributing to them becoming an obstacle themselves.
he history of rap has so many unforgettable legends such as Nas and Jay-Z and that is just two that are alive. What about the amazing artist that are no longer with us? Some of the great, highly known rappers are Iggy Azalea and Tupac Shakur. They both have given the world lyrics that have change lives and have given advice to some many people of youth. Tupac is the type of artist that is a big spokesperson on racism, abuse, poverty, and etc. Tupac believed in defending yourself and becoming violent to protect your people. Iggy music is very spunky and energizing in which she symbolizes excitement and having a good time. They both are very wise spoken artist who were very in touch with their fans and others. Which one was better Tupac
Atlanta-based rapper Young Thug (real name Jeffrey Williams) was arrested earlier today in Sandy Springs, Georgia for making terrorist remarks. The arrest took place around 6 a.m. and was made by U.S. Marshals who were carrying an outstanding warrant for his arrest. TMZ reports that the charges stem from an incident one week ago where Williams threatened to kill a mall cop working at Atlanta's Perimeter mall. He avoided the police for eight days, but then US marshalls arrested him helping the Dunwoody Police, and he was taking in without incident. He is currently being held in DeKalb County Jail.
Music can rock your world, enlighten your mind and change your perspective. When you think of rap music who comes first to mind? Without hesitation, it must be the self acclaimed best rapper alive, Lil Wayne. He alone can make such statements as “My picture should be in the dictionary next to the definition of definition” (Wayne, “Shoot Me Down”). Lil Wayne is a prominent force in the rap world. His debut Album in 1999, Tha Block is Hot went double platinum upon its release and even his lowest selling album is still certified as gold according to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Rollingstone Magazine declares “Lil Wayne is one of the most popular — and prolific — recording artists in the world” (Kreps). Top this with
Talking to Wyatt Earp would be a dream of mine because he has been an inspiration of mine for many years. I would most likely listen to him more than I would talk to him, because I really want to hear all of his stories from his point of view. His adventures with Doc Holliday
Getting to meet and spend time with a famous person is one of my goals and dreams. In order for it to be my dream and goal, it has to be time spent with the San Francisco 49'ERS. This amazing group of athletes has been my team since day one. I have seen them fall and I have seen them rise. I have many meaningful reasons on why they are my favorite team and why I would want to spend a day with them; watching Niner football games with my grandpa, getting to go a game, and my life revolves around football and why it's such a great sport.
Another person that is greatly admired, is Chance the Rapper. Chance is an African American rapper/singer who was born in the south-side of Chicago. His real name is Chancelor Bennett. During his senior year in high school, he was suspended for 10 days for possession of marijuana, and during his time off he recorded his first ice breaking mixtape called 10 Days. Chance put this first mixtape as a free download hoping for more people to hear it.
I would ask that because one day I might be a celebrity and he could probably give me
It was a hazy morning, It was the opening day of rifle season. We had just sat down and we were getting all settled in, We were hunting on state land just outside of Tawas Mi. We had been hunting for about 3 Hrs and we were getting hungry so we decided to head to town and stop at a restaurant and pick up some cheeseburgers for us to eat for lunch.
Lil Uzi Vert was born as Symere Woods on July 31, 1994 in North Philadelphia Pennsylvania His age is 24. Lil Uzi Vert who blew up the charts in 2016 by releasing a mixtape called “Lil Uzi Vert vs. The World.” According to Before They Were Young Video, he grew up around the Francisville neighbourhood of the region. During his teens his mom kicked him out of their house.
I chose T.I because of his perseverance. Even though he grew up in the urban terrain, he didn’t let that stop him for believing in himself. He kind of reminded me of Dr. King, because he too had a dream. He had a dream that one day he would make it out of the “hood” (urban terrain). So, in my opinion, he gave all the less fortunate people hope. His statement was simple, “you have what it takes to be great”. It doesn’t matter where you’re from or what color you are, just believe in yourself and any and everything is possible. Even though his first album didn’t do that well in 2001, he came back in 2003 and his numbers sky rocketed.
The disconnect between the old generation and new generation of hip hop and rap is clear as day. A few weeks ago one of the leaders of the new school Lil Yachty was on the Complex show Everyday Struggle and the host Joe Budden grilled him. This past weekend, Waka Flocka posted on Instagram a picture of Lil Uzi Vert, another young artist and wrote as the caption, "Lil Uzi Vert Is Rock, Not Hip-Hop." And it's not like Flocka is completely wrong. One of Uzi vert's major influences is Marilyn Manson, but Uzi Vert shouldn't be subjected to one genre.
