Loyalty is owed to the consumer/client and those of public interest. It should be the company/corporation/entity that shows the grestest loyalty to its population and they are charged with the duty to protect others from illegal activity. In California, thanks to whistleblowers, it was found that California State prisons were involved in the illegal sterilization of women inmates. Doctors were being paid to either coerce or lie to inmates regarding thier care and the documentation they were signing with regards to birth control and sterilization, thus causing them to break their sworn hipocratic oath as well as the State prison system was violating basic human rights. Thus far, laws have been passed preveting the practice from happening.
The problem with unethical practices is that a company itself is not the only one will suffer from the consequence of its illegal actions. Most of the time, there are customers who get victimized by these unethical practices as they put their trust and loyalty on businesses that they have patronized for so long. At the end of the day, all they can do is file their complaints and vent out their frustrations over the betrayal they experienced from their trusted businesses, but the damage remains permanent. The once excellent relationships are forever destroyed and victimized customers always carry with them the trauma and fear that they could be fooled again in the future.
Loyalty, loyalty is the allegiance and a strong support for something or someone, but does your support have to be unconditional for you to still be loyal. For me, no.
In my opinion the ramifications of noncompliance are absolutely justifiable actions. Our government often enacts legislation which may not be in the best interest of the people. Therefore, when a corporation engages in fraudulent activities which are illegal or immoral and these actions affect the livelihood of numerous individuals across the Nation our only recourse
The future of California is pretty good, for the state is projected to see growth in almost every sector of the economy as well as the population, but there are many concerns that must be addressed first in order to see California’s growth come to fruition. International trade and business is one of California’s largest industries and it’s expected to continue increasing, for many emerging economies are also located off of the Pacific Ocean. Growth in the economy is good, but requires resources that California has a limited supply of. The main resource California always needs is water, since most of the state’s population resides in the southern regions, which are arid and receive minimal precipitation annually. The state is planning on improving efficiency and the aqueduct system to increase the water supply while decrease the environmental effects California’s aqueduct’s have on regions like the San Joaquin River Delta. For many years California has been considered a very liberal and left state, which is due to the fact that the state has the toughest environmental legislation in the country. With such strong legislation ensuring the protection of the environment California has become a model state in the fight against climate change, and must remain vigilant for there are numerous species endemic to the state that are found nowhere else on the planet. Though there are numerous other factors’ affecting California’s future these are some of the most interesting areas to
The main points in the article “Their Best Way to Show Loyalty” published on March 6, 1942 is to remove all Japanese people out of military zones until the war is over, give Japanese as much time as they can to find a place to go, and to make it as easy as possible for them to go and stay until the war is over. The government believed the best thing for these people was to have them leave. Japanese people were in danger living where they were, and if they would have stayed there would have been real danger arising. Any kind of sabotage would have caused a race riot and that’s something the government didn’t want. This article was trying to accomplish or show why Japanese had to flee and move away from their natural homes. Also to show the beginning of internment, which began by some people being placed in a

Similarly, since the 1980s there has been the initiation of privatization of prisons, in the United States. Today, for-profit companies operate 264 correctional facilities, housing almost 99,000 inmates (Glans, 2011). The two largest are Correction Corporations of America (CCA) and the GEO Group, which together combined for a capacity of 129,000 prisoners. According to Think progress, in 2010 Corrections Corporation of America and GEO Group made over 2.9 billion in revenue (Sanchez, 2011). Equally important, these companies exert influence on public policy, in order to fashion the marketplace environment (i.e. more prisoners/African American males) required to increase its businesses. This is done through lobbying politicians, direct campaign contributions, and political networking.
In the case of California v Ciralolo, the government did not do too far. In 1986 Dante Ciralolo, lived in Santa Clara California and was growing marijuana in his backyard, which was illegal. After receiving many reliable tips from the community, the police investigated these allegations. When they arrived at his home, they found a six-foot outer fence and a ten-foot inner fence surrounding his place so they couldn’t see into his backyard. The other houses in the neighborhood area did not have high fences so the police were curious of what he was doing behind the walls of his yard (Doc. B, C). Did they go too far by renting a plane to view his property and not getting a search warrant? I do not think so because this act did not defile the 4th Amendment.

Menifee district depended on Governor Jerry Brown's initiative or the education to face $5.5 billion, thus advising school districts plan for the worst case scenario in their endeavors to come up with their 2012/2013 budget.
The two new laws in California can be described as helpful and non-helpful. It can be helpful because it will keep drivers from being distracted when driving on the road. It is also non-helpful because if you need to make a business call and you have to reach far to get your hand-free machine. And you cant talk on your phone while driving or else youll get a ticket. It is good that we are helping the California community by banning people from talking on phones. But if you need to make an important call you cant. Because you will get a ticket if you do.
When you hear the word loyal; moral, ethical and committed are the traits that come to mind. These are positive attributes that are encouraged in a person. But if you are true to your loyalty, to another person or your beliefs at what point does loyalty cross the line and you compromise your morals, ethics and commitments or are blind to the truth. In the novel Kidnapped, by Robert Louis Stevenson, there are many examples of loyalty through family, friendship and your obligations to your cause. It is shown where one is blinded by loyalty and could cross the line in pursuit of loyalty that it becomes a fault.
Corporate officials often have conflicting motivations to run these prisons and sacrifice the quality of care in their organizations in order to make a profit. A majority of the problems arising in private prisons is due in part to lack of government oversight and insufficient accountability. In addition to inadequate accountability, for-profit prisons hope to generate the greatest possible profit, and do this by any means necessary. Some will argue that the savings to the taxpayer is worth it, however the current data available clearly says otherwise.
Throughout the song, friends are always able to rely on each other no matter what happens. The song “Count on me” written by Bruno Mars, relates to the theme of loyalty being necessary in friendship because the lyrics explain how friends can always “count” on each other. The friends in the song go through thick and thin together and if one forgets how important they are in the others life, they will remind one another. The lyrics express how no matter the circumstances, one can always rely on their true friends when the song says “You'll always have my shoulder when you cry”. Whenever people are sad, they typically want to be comforted and know that everything will work out. This quote expresses that a true friend will always be there to comfort
The issue of business relations with government has increasingly become a key issue of business ethics. Some of the many questions raised are
