In the final Act, Macbeth prepares for the battle he only will face, even though he knows about his soon-to-be downfall. He puts on his armor and waits for his final destination, as known as, Macduff. In the arrival of Macduff, Siward, Young Siward, and Malcolm, Young Siward charges to the castle to find the Thane of Glamis, but was killed by him immediately. Now it was Macduff turn to have vengeance;
In William Shakespeare’s Macbeth, the main character, Macbeth, is a brave and loyal subject to the King of Scotland, but as the play progresses, his character begins to change drastically. Evil and unnatural powers, as well as his own passion to become king, take over his better half and eventually lead to his downfall. The three main factors that intertwine with one another that contribute to Macbeth’s tragic end are the prophecies told by the three witches, Lady Macbeth’s influence, and finally, Macbeth’s excessive passion and ambition which drove his desire to become king to the utmost extreme. The prophecy told by the three witches was what triggers the other factors that contribute to Macbeth s downfall. In the first act, the witches
As I am writing this essay, Newton’s first law of motion, “for an object to be set in motion, a force has to be applied to it”, comes to mind. Every object has potential energy to be kinetic, but another object must exert physical force to propel it forward. Macbeth has potential energy from his inner desire to be king, and his rapt reaction to eliminate foilers in his way proves that. However, Macbeth’s innocence and goodness makes it impossible for him to commit murders. Lady Macbeth’s relentless persuasion is the outside force that “propels” Macbeth. Out of the three characters who lead to Macbeth’s downfall, Lady Macbeth gives the greatest momentum that drives Macbeth into furies of inconceivable acts against human nature.
In Shakespeare’s Macbeth, Lady Macbeth’s desire and ambition leads to her eventual downfall. When Lady Macbeth hears of Macbeth’s prophecy she dreams of the glory and high-standing that awaits being queen. She cannot withhold her ambitions and she is willing to manipulate fate to bring about Macbeth’s prophecy. She invokes evil spirits to be filled from head to toe with cruelty to do the evil actions necessary to make Macbeth king and to remove all remorse and pity for her action from her heart. She is initially able to be involved in the treacherous deeds that are needed to bring about the prophecy quickly, but as the play progresses the weight of the merciless deeds fill her with remorse. The remorse and pain she feels for her wicked

What goes around comes around no matter who you are. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth did whatever they could to become king and queen. Lady Macbeth mostly made Macbeth do the work. Lady Macbeth was minion on Macbeth. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth betrayed, killed, and lied about every bad deed they did. They both turned cruel, evil, and insane towards the end, but were more hesitant, thoughtful, and innocent in the beginning of the play. The influence of what the witches said was like a deadly disease to their brain. At the end of the play, Lady Macbeth is more worried and guilty while Macbeth is more confident and cruel because of their ruthless actions. From the moment the plan started cooking up from there is when their
We see in the play Macbeth that when the motivation to succeed in life becomes overpowering, other people may easily influence one and elements and one may decide on wrongful actions to achieve a goal. Some of the influences on Macbeth include the witches and the apparitions, Lady Macbeth, and lastly Macbeth's own insecurities and misguided attempts to control his future.
By the beginning of the third act, Macbeth has become king. However, he does not feel secure in his kingdomship. He is afraid of losing is crown, especially because the witches had previously prophesied that Banquo’s children were to become kings. This fear and desire to have power that comes from within Macbeth, drives him to have Banquo and Fleance -Banquo’s son- to be killed. Not only did he make this terrible decision himself but he never consulted his wife. When he does eventually mention his decision to her, he says to her “Be innocent of the knowledge dearest chuck, till thou applaud the deed…” (Mac.III.ii. 45-46). This is showing that he is no longer being influenced by his wife and that she has no power of the actions that he takes.
There were many wrongs committed in "MacBeth." But who should bear the major responsibility for these actions? The witches' prophesising? Lady MacBeth's scheming and persuasion? Or should MacBeth himself be held responsible? No doubt the witches and lady MacBeth influenced MacBeth in the course of action he took in his rise to power, but ultimately he must bear the major responsibility for his fate.
The quest for self fulfillment can lead some to their own destructions when these individuals cannot compromise their goals. Shakespeare uses characters within the play Macbeth to draw attention to the dangers of relentlessly pursuing the goal of happiness while also presenting the few that have the ability to compromise their needs as those who ultimately triumph.
The Tragedy of Macbeth written by William Shakespeare portrays an unhealthy relationship between two unjust souls that eventually leads to the murders of innocent bystanders. Macbeth has always been presented with a murderous mind-set which was first introduced in the first scene of the play. Combining his killer instincts and Lady Macbeth’s ruthless intentions the toxic partnership they display leads to the untimely demise of their victims and their marriage. Although Macbeth’s murderous intent and unwavering ambition was the cause of his downfall, it was the lack of humanity left in both him and Lady Macbeth that terminated their marriage and cost them their lives.
In Macbeth, which is written by Shakespeare, fate plays a very important part in the play. Macbeth’s fate is fulfilled when he fulfills the prophecy and apparitions that Shakespeare wrote for him. In other words, Shakespeare wrote Macbeth’s fate. Fate is something that unavoidably happens; fate is very similar, if not the same thing, as destiny. In the play, there is a question of whether or not Shakespeare believes that fate has the power to rule people’s lives. There are many examples of fate in Macbeth that can be looked at to help answer this question. The first instance is that all of the prophecies given to Macbeth come to pass. Secondly, although the witches are powerful enough to tell one’s fate, they are not able to change
Many of people have heard the tragedy of Macbeth by William Shakespeare. The story revolves on a sequence of misfortunate events that take place when Macbeth makes immoral decisions to be king. In the play, Shakespeare shows how power can cause corruption in a human’s brain. Macbeth himself was not a very confident person, though he had a kind soul to begin with, he was easily influenced and gullible. Through the prophecies of the evil beings, an insignificant seed was planted in Macbeth. That spark of wealth and fortune caused the tyrant within him to awake. Which eventually lead to his fatal death. His ambition lead him to murder, go insane and become very superstitious.
I believe that Macbeth’s downfall is a result of his own ambition and greed. He always wanted more and more and was never pleased with what he had. His judgement was clouded by his thirst for more. He never really felt secure so he took drastic measures to ensure he would be safe but they only made him feel worse. When the Witches told him the prophecies that sparked something in him. He murders his own king and sent murderers to kill his best friend. He was never truly satisfied and he never got to enjoy the reign as king. He was always paranoid and alert. He tried too hard to control his destiny but maybe if he had just let it control itself he would have had a better outcome. Ultimately Macbeth was his own worst enemy and the biggest factor
In William Shakespeare’s The Tragedy of Macbeth, Macbeth, a once honored and valiant Thane, abandons all virtue after three meddling witches prophesize his ascent to the Scottish throne. Consumed by his ambition and encouraged by his malevolent wife, Macbeth sets forth on a downward spiral of murderous treason and tyranny that subsequently leads to his own demise. This Shakespearean tragedy explores betrayal, manipulation and the blood lust that adjoins a relentless climb for power. Hovering behind the narrative are various supernatural forces and visions that seem to be present during each terrible act. Subsequently, a question prevails whether Macbeth’s downfall is result of his own flaw or if these forces possess a vice-like hold over
