Alarm clocks will always ring, but the burning question is: at what time should they ring? At Laguna Beach High School, kids are forced to wake up at 6:00 a.m. and get to school by 7:25. While the school argues students should get to bed earlier, so they have the energy to wake up in the morning and do all they need to do to get ready for school students say it’s not possible; and not the way to go. By starting school later, students can retain more information, students can get enough sleep, and students can have fully functioning brains. The school administrators need to act immediately to alter the bell schedule in the morning, by delaying the time school starts.
