This is what Martin Luther King Jr Said August 28, 1963 at the Washington, D.C., Lincoln Memorial on the steps of the White House. He fought for equal rights, but he still kept his cause peaceful. He inspired, worked together with people , and now we can live out his dream. He inspired many people to fight for their rights especially in the March on Washington. It would not do anything to help with peace, it would make it worse. He is saying a war would not do anything it would just stir up trouble and make things worse for everyone. Imagine if a Kid wanted a toy and he didn't get it, if he threw a fit he would probably not get it, but if he didn't cry and was good then maybe eventually he might get the toy.
