Tim Tebow is one of the most inspirational active sports players to younger kids and even adults. Tim Tebow has overcome many challenges in his life, he won the national championship in football at University of Florida as quarterback. He later entered the draft and was picked by the Denver Broncos in the first round and twenty- fifth pick. When Tim Tebow joined the league it was not for him, he had only bad games situations we usually go deep down to find talents that we never knew we had. We tend to rise to the occasion and complete tasks that need to be done by us because we are the bravest to do it. I do agree with this specific prompt because there have been times where I have had to rise above and be the bigger man to complete challenges. There are also many famous figures such as: Tim Tebow, my great uncle, and Steve Jobs. These people in one way or another have started with nothing and made millions and billions. They have all found talents that they did not know they had. Their hidden talents have impacted families, fans, and the evolution of technology.
The starting left tackle for the Baltimore Ravens, Michael Oher, had what some people might call a very hard life. He was born on May 28, 1986, in Memphis, Tennessee and to add on to his broken home, and his hard life his father was killed when he was a senior in high school. His father’s name was Michael Jerome Williams Sr. His mothers name was Denise Oher. Michael and his twelve brothers were provided with little to no support. Because of his poor parenting that he was offered he was frequently homeless and performed poorly as a student, repeating first and second grade and attending eleven different schools. Later in life Michael made it to high school. He attended a public school in Memphis. He was a natural athlete, playing football and basketball and being outstanding at both. During high school, he stayed with a man named Tony Henderson and his son Steven.
“Adversity has the effect of eliciting talents which in prosperous circumstances would have lain dormant.” What the Roman poet Horace was saying was that when there is an obstacle in our way, our true colors will radiate. I could not agree more. When we as human beings feel passionate about achieving a goal, we may learn something new of ourselves, maybe a new trait that we did not know we possessed, when we reach new heights we did not know we could push ourselves towards. Challenges are similar to tests. Challenges are faced every day, but how we respond to them determines how strong we really are. Prime examples are superheroes and students that move dramatically.
The push to keep training and maintaining the discipline of a Basketball player despite the initial rejection makes Michael Jordan iconic. He knew that the way to the top would not be easy, but he was determined to do all it takes to get there. This shows that no one who truly wants to make a mark should think that life is a bed of roses. There is something to overcome; there are disciplines to maintain if we want to get to great heights. We can overcome obstacles like a genius when we pattern our lives to do the things that geniuses do.
Adversity has a way of bringing up challenges unexpectedly, most people shrink away from it and get consumed, but when they push through it people come out stronger than they were before.

If you focus on developing into a stronger and wiser individual, you will succeed not in spite of, but because of the very challenges you face.” The most successful people in life don’t get that way from having it easy in life.
