A is for awesome as it perfectly sums up my middle school years. While there were some bumps along the road, I've finally made it to the end of this exciting(2) 8th grade year. Throughout my years at Sierramont Middle School, I've experienced and learned so many valuable skills that I'll always remember. I've met people that changed my life, teachers that inspired and taught me, and experienced the joys of middle school. While there were some people that annoyed me to the point I wanted to explode(10), there were more people who left a positive mark in my life. Throughout middle school, I had many opportunities to earn(3) extra credit, but I’ll never get as much as I did in Mr. Lam’s history class in 7th grade. It’s like that class was made just for me! Everyday there was a new assignment and if we showed it to him the next day and got it stamped, we would get extra credit. I’m very proud to say I got every extra credit option except the first one since I didn’t understand how his class worked. Despite his extra credit opportunities, some people said they were struggling to get by. I was pretty mind blown since my grade in his class was never below an A. While his class was already easy and I was okay with an A, I had so much extra time that it would be ridiculous if I didn’t do the extra credit. While it’s nice to have extra credit, I don’t like teachers who give it for cleaning(1) the classroom or helping others since it doesn't have anything to do with what we are learning. My 6th grade science teacher was the easiest teacher ever since her work was easy and gave us extra credit for doing good deeds. That may be why I don’t know as much about what we learned in 6th grade science since all I did was slack off and get extra credit. If only all teachers were like Mr. Lam, then everyone would learn and have a good grade that’ll impress their
