Now, a lot of things are going on in this small town. Susie’s death, the suspected murderer has gone missing…so it’s time for an unpopular opinion. Are Susie’s parent’s capable of raising their other two children, knowing she’s gone? I, the author of the opinion column, truly believe their children will be raised in a harsh manner. Since the police haven’t found the suspected murder, whose name they cannot release to the public, has brought a lot of stress on Mr. Salmon. As of recently, I went and talked to him personally…his wife is out in California trying to run away from this situation, leaving him, Jack Salmon, to take care of his kids. I asked him a few questions about how he is dealing with this, trying to appear friendly in all ways possible, so I am able to absorb his feelings …show more content…
Salmon was really uneasy, nervous, and seemed hesitant to ask my questions. I got the feeling that he didn’t want to show these emotions to his children, although I am sure they understand. Their poor son…he must have no idea what is going on, or why his sister hasn’t returned. Mr. and Mrs. Salmon must have told the boy, but he mustn’t understand. Moving onto my unpopular opinion, Mr. Salmon’s uneasiness and Mrs. Salmon’s absence are certainly having effects on their children. Mr. Salmon is so determined to find this killer, that he isn’t concerned about his health nor his children, leaving him unable to raise his kids properly. If I were in his shoes, I wouldn’t be able to raise my children correctly. That’s just my opinion, though. When I spoke to Jack, I asked him clear questions with an easy answer, such as “How do you plan on finding this killer?” “How are your children doing with this whole situation?” “How is your wife doing?” That question hit him hard, his response was “She did not think that she could handle being home more than a few days. Everywhere she looked she saw Susie, and at the booth across from her she saw a man who could have murdered
Throughout Susie’s narration, we hear all of these horrible things about what Mr. Harvey has done, and how some of her family tries to investigate it, but just how much do we know?
She wanted to be a role model for her children and at the same time, she wanted to become friend with them. Helen valued education, and she wanted Julie to go to college and have a successful life. However, after she found out that Julie had secretly being together with Tod, the poor, unambitious man. She was disappointed, betrayed, sad. Julie moved out of Helen’s home. Later, when Helen found out that Julie and her husband Tod had nowhere to live, she let them move in with her. She is a permissive parent, yet, she cares about her children, provides them as much support as she can. Helen stayed calm when Gary told her he wanted to live with his dad for a while. I can see her heart was bleeding when she heard her son’s words. She gave Gary his father’s phone number anyway, and Gary talked to his dad over the phone and figured out the cruel fact that his dad didn’t care for them anymore. Helen wanted to comfort Gary but he refused to talk. I felt Helen’s guilt and desperation at that moment. After she broke into Gary’s room and found out that Gary was carrying the bag that contains pornography, she immediately asked Tod’s help to talk to Gary. She had a chance to talk to Tod and had learned that Tod came from a broken family. She had a better idea of who Tod was and his help to Gary gained Helen’s respect. Helen supported Tod and helped her daughter Julie overcame the tough situation in marriage. Helen

I went outside to find Courtney, but she was nowhere to be seen. “Hey, get in the car!” Misty had yelled from the driver’s side of her Dodge Neon. “Can you take me by Courtney’s? I want to talk to her.” I asked as I chunked my backpack into the backseat “No, just call her later. We need to get Guy and go home to start to pack.” When we got home my father was listening to the scanner. “Hey girls, do yawl know a Danielle Wilson, age 20 from Tushka?” “No!” both of us said as we went into our room “Well they had a wreck earlier before school got release. They were T-boned by a semi truck, but they are not releasing much more information” Stated my father. Immediately I thought about Courtney, but I thought to myself, no, it couldn’t have been her she is only fifteen years old. A few hours went by without hearing anything else. The phone began to ring; I rushed over as fast as I could. “Hello” I said. “Hey, it’s Kathy, did you hear over the scanner?” she asked. “No, it couldn’t have been her Dad said it was a Danielle and she was twenty” I said with tears in my eyes. “Oh okay, well let me know if you hear anything else.” Kathy stated. “Okay” I said as I hanged up the phone. Another hour had gone by without hearing anything. So I began to pack for our family vacation that we were getting ready to take the next day,
In a red brick house, on 13 Ebenwin Avenue, California, there lived a father, a mother and a daughter, by the name, Leah. This, however, was not just an ordinary family. In fact, let’s just leave it at that there was constant arguing and fighting between the parents, and the police were after Leah’s father, a master thief, Adam Heman. One day, in late April, Adam’s and Leah’s mother, Charlita Zchynz’s arguing got way out of hand. Leah was reading her book silently, when she heard banging and shouts.
This quote reflects the portrayal of anatomical beauty as a metaphor for the characterization of the personality of H. H. Holmes. It exemplifies how some objects have an elevated level to them similar to most icons of this time period. On the surface they convey a simple message but can be elevated to another standard. The words just ran in the back of my head, “ What do you mean you don't know where he is?”,I wanted to shout. I just stood there and wondering why he would he lie to to me was it something I said? How could Jerry, that honest, thoughtful and responsible young boy lie? I wanted to know the truth! I went home without saying goodbye and slammed the door behind me, shaking the dim light in the cold windy darkness that matched my sorrow. As I climbed to my bed I thought, could it be too late?
