I have two goals that I find imperative to achieve within the next few years; in addition, I feel that these two goals are obtainable, but in no way whatsoever will the goals be easy to achieve. My first goal is earning an associate’s degree in computer science, and my second goal is to lose weight and get back into a healthy lifestyle. Both of my goals are important, but the most important goal of mine is earning an associate’s degree; even so, the second goal of mine is still paramount to my objectives. Both goals will be crucial to my life for years.
Earning my associate’s degree in computer science is my top goal for a few reasons. The first reason is that by earning this degree, it will open an innumerable amount of opportunities in my life. Secondly, upon completion of an associate’s degree, I will then be able to possibly get a job as a software developer, and I can continue my education and get my bachelor’s degree. Finally, it will instill pride into me by getting this degree, I will few proud of myself and will be one step closer to my goals. To obtain this degree I will need to do very well in mathematics, and since math can be a difficult subject for me to comprehend it will be a challenge. However, the reasons mentioned previously are what drive me to

The first step that I am taking towards changing my lifestyle and losing weight is eating healthier; for example, I’m trying to eliminate all junk food and soda products from my diet, My second step is getting more active daily; in other words, I’m trying to do some exercise daily, such as walking, or going to the gym. I believe that this goal is possible, but it will not be easy to achieve, and will take a quite a long time to

Another goal of mine is to be involved in clubs to meet people with similar interests. I am an outstanding individual and self motivated student and expect to continue to do so in college. My academic goals as a student have and will always be to achieve the best grades that I can possibly obtain. My last goal that I want to achieve while attending college is to obtain a internship in my future career field in order to obtain more knowledge in my field.
Nina JohnsonJournal 1For this semester, one of my main goals is to do my best to stay on top of all of my work. That way I don’t fall behind and end up having to pull one or more all nighters. I also want tohave a job on campus this semester since I have been awarded Federal Work Study. This isimportant to me because it will be my first time ever having a job, so I’ll be able to make myown money, while also learning new and valuable skills. This will also be one of my biggestleaps outside of my comfort zone because I used to be extremely anxious about having a job, andthe only thing I’ve done that was close to that was having a brief unpaid internship. As for campus involvement, I’m not quite sure what I want to do yet. I might join theJapanese
My main objective for going to college is to put myself in a position where I can bring people together to solve common problems. I am currently a sophomore in college and I’m double majoring in both International Relations and Computer Technology. As an ambassador of my generation, my goal is to become a language interpreter for the United Nations and a computer technician. I plan on studying abroad to further enhance my knowledge and gain a greater understanding of how to communicate more effectively with different cultures. The personal experience of interacting with different people will give me insight on how to not only bring people together, but enhance my skills as an interpreter as well. According to Eve Elwell from thirdyearabroad.com,
My first goal relates to ELA 2, the class I’m writing this for. My goal is a really common goal and most people might have similar goals. I want to get an A because that A will raise my GPA and give me a chance to climb in class rank. I am willing to study and try my hardest to get the grade I feel like I deserve. ELA is not an easy class, so I’m hoping
William Jennings Bryan once said, “Destiny is no matter of chance. It is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved [sic].” From the time I was able to read and write, I have spent my time trying to get where I am now: a senior in high school planning my path for college. With college approaching so soon, I have had to make the decision of what I want to in my future. Since I will be doing it for the rest of my life, I have to pick something that I will not only be good at, but also love and enjoy. Life will not just hand me whatever I need to be successful; therefore, I will have to work for it. As a young adult getting ready to enter the part of life referred to as the real world, I am dedicating my time and effort to preparing a path of success that will help me reach my goal of graduating from Louisiana State University (LSU) and becoming a physician assistant (PA).
This semester I want to take a different approach in all of my classes, but especially for this political science class. Even though I have always been a meticulous student, college is slightly more perplexing and I want to ensure I am fully equipped for the corporate America. A few of my goals consist of making A’s and B’s in the course, forming a useful study group with my colleagues, and retaining the information taught in class while using it as cross-curriculum for relative classes (i.e. Composition I). It is imperative that I not only do well, but am able to comprehend the material in a way that suits my educational career in a variety of aspects. Although high school and college are differing institutions, my goal is to do exceptionally
For my overall academic goal I would love to get a 4.0 G.P.A but I would at least like to get a 3.5 G.P.A in all of my general and my college major classes for each semester I take at Florissant Valley and also when I attend Forest Park. My strengths to achieve my goal is to stay in my books and study hard to make sure I dont get distracted so I can achieve my goal every semester. Even though I do well in school I need to work on a couple things, one thing I need to work on is my health and wellness, because to achieve my goal I need to have strength and energy and sense my health is poor I get really tired all the time, also something else I need to work on is time management, I need to stop procrastinating and do things right when I get them
Graduating with my bachelor’s degree excites me the most. It has been one of my major goals for so long and now I am finally working toward making it a reality. I have worked hard to get to this point in my life. And thank God for where I am today. Looking back to when I was scammed by a diploma mill and lost several hundred dollars. I thought it would never happen for me. And then I earned my high school diploma and enrolled into college.
Though it is not easy to work and finish college at the same time, I decided to pursue my degree and finish it this time because I wanted to have a sense of security that will keep me in good position to support me and my family. Due to unforeseen circumstances couple of years ago, I had to deviate from my goal as an IT professional, I think now is a good time as any to finish my degree and achieve my goals. Also, I believe it will give me a sense of happiness of an achievement and encouragement to achieve something greater in life.
My goals for 2018 consist of a lot, my mom is a inspiration for a lot of my goals because of how hard she works. My mom recently went to school for becoming a radiologist, she is studying everyday all the time. We only see the back of her head, she is doing great in the class though, she has the top grade. I can see how she’s able to struggle through these times with the help of God. My first goal I would like to do is join a youth group. My brother was in one and he says there a lot of fun so I would love to try it out. My second goal is my academic goal. I would like to use my mom as inspiration or this one. I would like to study as she is, we can even sit next to each other and study together, and finally my goal for sports, I would like to try to get Jockey award because both of my siblings did and it would top it off, and I would love to improve my soccer skill. I recognize the importance of having God in my life and putting him first and having him help me one step at a time.
My need for achievement is of paramount importance in nearly all of my decisions. As a freshman in at the University of Maryland I think a lot about my future. I plan on going to graduate school after I graduate with my bachelors in computer science, a dream I have had since I was a child. Everything I have achieved thus far is part of my goal of attending a great, prestigious graduate school. The Opportunity Canvas Analysis speaks of seven different areas an achieving individual uses in order to be successful. An important achievement component I use is setting goals for myself and others around me. Accomplishing my goals is important to me and it is essential to have small group goals in order to achieve the overall goal. Another important
I come from a family who has never gone far in their education. I have been determined to change that. One of the biggest goals I've had in my life was to be the first person in my family to attend college, and that’s exactly what I am doing. I plan to obtain a bachelor's degree in theatre arts with a performance emphasis. I first walked across a theatre stage at the age of eleven, and I fell in love. After my first performance in sixth grade, I continued to say I was going to become a theatre major. Now, that dream is becoming a reality. I have selected my major because I will be able to do what I love (acting) and I will be able to work in the environment I have been dreaming about for years. After receiving my degree, I plan to attend graduate school to take obtain my master’s degree. I believe because I am the first person to go to college in my family I should go the whole 9 yards. I would like to receive two majors and a minor, even though I am not sure what the additional ones will be. Although those are my educational goals, I have some even bigger life goals.
Most of my pre-teen years I thought I was not able to go to college. I thought it was too expensive and that only the smart people and people who had enough money could go. Until I got to middle school, I found out about scholarships and how they can really help students of parents with low income go to college. I wanted to learn more and more about programs that help students like me. I wanted to make my parents proud but most importantly, myself. I think college is a gateway to a million possibilities and doing the things you love for the rest of your life. This was the start of my lifelong goals.
Getting good grades is something my family emphasizes extremely. I have had a 4.0 GPA since the 9th grade and it’s something I feel pride in. This goal is very important to me because I want to study at Michigan University and hopefully study abroad in London. Having such a high GPA gives me a sense of comfort. If I achieve my goal it’ll be like I finally worked extremely hard for something. As a teen I don't get many chances to work this hard for something I want.
