My Hero
Heroes are made, not born and they define the limits of our desires. Each person has their own hero and there isn’t a specific quality. Hero or not, it all depends on the person’s perspective. The general form of a hero is a person who is praised or glorified for courage, significant accomplishments, or nobleness in the eyes of others. I, myself have a special someone that stood by my side throughout difficult and challenging times in life, who makes the world change for me, the one who lets me see light in a matter of dark, my heroic mother. Her background story is bold. Being a single mother in a world where money is salient is where hardship takes place. Mothers are usually seen as taking care of the kids while the husband puts

Most parents force their children to marry only to protect their reputation. My mother’s father was a pleasant man but he unfortunately, forced my mom into marriage. Fadhel, my mom’s ex husband, was 14 years older than my mother and he was immensely stern. Like other relationships, the parents get involved and complications occur. Fadhel’s parents were antagonistic towards my mother to the point where she almost committed suicide. They eventually moved back to Iraq. You would expect the problems to disappear, but believe it or not, it became worse. This caused Fadhel to want to move back to his country so he can be with his family but in order to do that, my mom had to agree. She didn't agree because she wanted to raise us in safety but that didn’t stop him from wanting to leave. They filed divorce papers but since they were going to be living in different countries, we had to go to a Muslim official to determine who gets custody. The father always gets to decide first in Islam and Fadhel wanted custody either for both of us or just my sister. My mom threatened to drop her religion because the official took Fadhel’s side. Since we were living in America, my mom had the right to go to a judge and have him decide. The judge asked basic questions like “When is their birthdays”and “How old are they” to which Fadhel did not know the answers. My mom won custody, not because she answered correctly, but

Does your hero wear a cape? Have super-natural powers? Or is he or she just like everyone else? If one was told to give examples of a hero, there would be a huge list big enough; ranging from people we envy, to those we feel or think they are heroes. Everyone has his or her favorite hero, my favorite hero is one that is little known but to me is a true inspiration. My hero is Rolf Benirschke. He is my hero for the courage, inspiration, and help that his words provided me when I was recovering from lifesaving surgery.
What is a hero? What qualities does he or she have? In our modern lives when we think of a hero we think of nurses and soldiers, but according to the American Heritage Dictionary, a hero in mythology and legend is a man or woman, often of divine ancestry, who is endowed with great courage and strength, celebrated for his bold exploits, and favored by the gods. What is a hero? A hero can be defined as many things to military people, first responders or simply just casual civilians walking about the streets it all comes to one thing. Three traits i think hero's have are people that are willing to stand up for others natural born leaders and brave people.all of these make a great hero that can be hidden inside of everybody weather they know it or not they could be a hero just waiting to see something then spring into action and release hero traits truthfully everybody can be a hero.
What is a hero? A hero is not somebody with the ability to fly, run really fast, or control other people's minds,... A hero is a random person that rises to the occasion and performs the action(s) of superhero proportions. “The only use of an obstacle is to be overcome. All that an obstacle does with brave men is, not to frighten them, but to challenge them.” (Woodrow Wilson). I agree with Woodrow that to be truly heroic, one must have leaderships, bravery, intelligence,... to solve common problems in our society. There are many examples of heroes in our modern day world as well as fictional characters. For instances, Odysseus in the Odyssey, Bilbo Baggins in the Hobbit and my mom have those characteristics of heroism.
Everyone has their own opinion on what qualities a hero should have. A hero should be someone who is humble, who does not help others for publicity but because that is what their heart desires. There are many types of heroes, they come in all shapes, sizes, genders and race. Heroes should be someone who has impacted the lives of others and is someone everyone admires.
A hero, whether real or unreal, continues to be one of the world’s most treasured fascination. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, a hero is anyone who is admired for great or brave acts or fine qualities. One must possess courage, selflessness, and passion in order to be classified as a hero. These characteristics are not familial, not common and certainly not easy to acquire.
When the word "hero" is spoken, everyone has different thoughts. Some will think of super powers like flying and saving people from villains; while others have a certain person they know or have heard of that come to mind who have done something to make a difference in the lives of others but who is a hero to you? To answer this question you must first ask yourself what a hero is; what comes to your mind when someone says the word. When I am confronted with these questions I always have the same thoughts; smart, strong will power, and someone who stands up for what they believe is right.
What does make a hero a hero? Is it there looks? Alternatively, maybe is it their personality? However, the question is what are those essential qualities that make one a hero? Different people require different heroes to look up to or try to emulate. However, whoever it may be, they all possess certain qualities. My hero is my mother, for the reason that she is selfless, compassion, and courage. That kind of selflessness can often be premeditated, since concentrating on others' needs often winds up helping one accomplish one’s own goals. However, a heroic leader does so without any anticipation of a return. The display and concern show the care one has for others. This can often apparent itself in strong but gentle actions planned to increase the lives of others. Courage and bravery come to mind first when we think of heroism. However, it is difficult to achieve anything truly heroic unless one is up against overwhelming chances. As Nelson Mandela put it, "Courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it." These minor acts of heroism rarely attract any notice. A true hero is always sympathetic, benevolent and shows a great deal of compassion and sympathy to those poorly or in agony. He or she keeps away judgements; that are oriented to the self and embraces an attitude that serves others.
