Personal strengths are abilities, talents, and characteristics that God has given us. Psalm 139:14 says, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well”. God has given everyone amazing characteristics that most people would describe them as. Even though most people don’t like talking about their own positive characteristics, we all have amazing gifts and talents. When I was talking to my friends, they gave me three characteristics that they see in me. The abilities that God has blessed me with are, a strong athlete, a good friend, and servant-hearted. I have thought about what these mean to me and I am going to describe each of them. To begin, most people say that I am a strong athlete. I love to run and do gymnastics. I have been doing gymnastics for a very long time. Even though I am not competing this season, I am working hard to get my level 8 skills. One of these skills is a roundoff-backhandspring-full. Also, without a doubt, I love to run. I have been trying to run almost every day to keep up my speed. I am only good at long distance running, but I love to run any distance. Even though most people say running is tiring and not very fun, I enjoy it a lot. I will finally get to run cross country this year, which I am very excited about! I even have been practicing soccer to see if I like it. Some of my athletic interests are gymnastics, soccer, and running. Additionally, I have often been described as a good
People have many different strengths in their lives. According to the strengthsfinder my top five five strength are input, harmony, maximize, communication, and responsibility. I will be utilizing my strengths in many different ways whether it's at work, home or school. While at work, home, or school I will use my input with making different decision. Utilizing input is very important for so many different reason.
In addition to my personal challenges my personal strengths interfer. A personal strength I have is talking , I love sharing my opinion. Another personal strength I have is giving good advice because I love helping people solve their problem or help make their lives easier. Lastly another personal strength I have is just listening because I am a good person to vent to because I don’t judge. Therefore I always spread positivity and lean a hand.
Part one of the career research assignments we were to choose three personal strengthens that I would bring to the work force and I choose that I am perseverant, team oriented and have youth supervisory skills. I choose that I am perseverant because after all the things that life has thrown my way I still have managed to stay on the right path and not succumb to my environment. This would be beneficial to an employer because I will not stop until I have met the goal that I am trying to obtain. To me it does not matter if the goal has many obstacles in the way, if it needs or has to be done I will get it done. Also I selected that I am team oriented; being basketball player for of my life I have learned the skills of being part of a team. Through
Upon completion of the StrengthsFinder survey, I discovered that my five greatest strengths were Achiever, Discipline, Responsibility, Relator, and Competition. However, I was skeptical about the initial results until I read what each strength entails. I found most of the information given to be accurate. According to the description of those strengths, I discovered that I use them daily without realizing it.
Personal strengths for me would be my strong desire to learn and change, and my persistence. I have been prevented from pursuing my desired education for so long, but I am chomping at the bit to get this done now. Not only am I pursuing a change in career, but I am going towards a field of study that I find interesting. I can be a very stubborn person at times and my persistence mirrors that trait.
• Positivity: Positivity is for someone who is upbeat and positive, which tends to rub off on others.
throughout my high school career i found rights and weakens. Ever since i was in 6th grade i have struggled but . I am working on it still i am improving everyday. The strengths that define me are my ability cooking also leadership however, i am bad at spelling but i am working on it.
Three of my strengths can be identify and described as followed; my strength is my genuine, as a Police Service Officer I am able to communicate with the community both in person and by other forms of communication in a manner in which the person I am communicating with can tell I am genuinely interested and committed in helping the person with their concern, or complaint no matter how big or small it maybe. My second strength is my adherence to being productive, when I am not handling a call for service, assisting the officers or performing my required duties, I make sure I preform other related duties, by cleaning, restocking the dispatch, records and kitchen areas, in addition I accesses sites like POST, 911 magazine, NENA, etc. to keep
In the interview, i asked one of my friend a few questions about myself. the first one was what are my strengths. the answer to that was curiosity and humility. From this I was expecting one strength to be curiosity which tells me that I would enjoy travelling in the future and learning about new things. Although humility, i was not expecting that strength only because i never noticed that in me and i never thought that strength was one of the things people noticed most about me. this strength added another career option for me that involves me understanding others issues and putting myself in their shoes. One career suited for this would be a psychologist. my second question was what are my qualities, in which the reply was honest, understanding,
Introverted: I am considered to be an introverted person. I mostly prefer to spend time alone than with others or in groups. However I love to work with other people. Working with other people can allows me to learn new things, but most of all I live to think. Thinking not only requires me to develop deeper thoughts by reflecting internally but it requires me to listen to others when they speak. This may allow me to come off quite in most cases but really it offers me more room to think critically.
Two personal strengths I possess in making adaptations are patience and fast-thinking. One of them being patient. I noticed the struggle the EL student had with certain words and I waited hoping he would sound out the word. I have learned that not all the students will have the right answers and learn at the same pace. In addition, the other strength I learned of myself is to be a fast-thinker. I need to figure out what strategy to use to make sure student understands what the instruction is. I will apply my strengths to differentiate among student that are low and high in learning.
My two weakness would be developing a health promotion providing more information, and developing my objective that could be measured. Course evaluation worked in helping me improve my teaching. On the consenquly hand, my two strengths are assessing my patient for reading literacy and utilizing appropriate material for the client these two strengths were furthered
My first major strength is having patience because I find it important to have patience during a bargain. It shows the other person that I am taking my time to listen what they want to negotiate. Not a lot of people are patience, it could affect during a bargain because it shows me that person doesn’t consider my bargain as important. I find it disrespectful because if I was in that position I want the person to listen to me. Having patience, it is a way to avoid conflict because I am not in a hurry or ignoring the person’s negotiation. My second major strength is self-control because I don’t get angry easily. It is important to have self-control during a bargain because nobody wants to get in a conflict or ruin their chance to do a business
One of my strengths in football is passing. Passing is a key part in the game of football. The aim is to maintain possession to try and create opportunities to score to win the game. When I’m going to pass the ball I make sure that I use the correct technique when deciding to play a certain pass. During a game I would use the inside of my strong foot (left), keeping the ball low when performing a short pass. However, when I’m going to play a longer pass or switching the ball I would use the ‘laces’ on my boot technique by drilling the ball to another teammate judging the weight and height of the pass depending on the distance away from him. Also I would make sure that I stay very calm and composed so that I don’t make any errors or hesitate.
Trying to decide what your personal strengths are, is hard. For myself, I have grown in my strengths, and I’ve experienced my weaknesses. My personal strengths consist of: positivity, encouragement, laughter, and love. I pick these four because I feel that I am truly strongest in these aspects of my life. Being positive is a big factor in everything I do. I always want to be happy and joyful; not only to display Christ in me, but to make others feel the way I do. I want others to appreciate life and to feel any kind of uplift in his or her spirt. Positivity plays into encouragement. I make it my goal to make others feel better about themselves. My goal coming into college was to learn and know every person(s) name that I got the chance to meet. Just taking a few minutes out of your day to truly get to know someone, is such a blessing. It not only blesses me in new friendships, but it also blesses others because they feel that someone genuinely cares about them. Laughter is another characteristic I strive to pour out onto others. I laugh at practically everything. I love to laugh, and I love to make people laugh. I’ve learned the importance of laughter, and I just want to make one person smile every day. Love is my last of the four attributes. Love is so important to me. I love creation (Trees, birds, squirrels), God, and I love people. I just want the love that God has given me, to pour out onto others. I want others to know that I love them. These are my personal strengths
