Chicago By Bobby Sullivan My family went to Chicago to see my family members and to see new things. My family went on a plane to go to Chicago faster instead of driving.
When we got on the plane I watched a movie and ate some gummys and soon went to sleep because I was tired. Soon when I woke up and went out side When we got off the plane and went to get our luggage and went outside the airport to find my aunt’s car, which was pretty close to the exit. Soon my family got into the car and soon drove out of the parking lot. We went to my aunt’s house, but when we got there it was dark so we unpacked and went and found our rooms and went to bed which my bed was my cousin’s bed because she moved out. I soon woke up when my aunt yelled,”Break
Then we went back to my aunt’s place and got ready to do some shopping for our new apartment. My aunt drove us to Walmart and then took us to Macy’s. I was amazed to see size of Walmart the first time. Also it
Can you imagine ever performing on Broadway? Let me go a step further and ask if you could ever imagine performing in the Broadway show Chicago? To feel the excitement of performing for the longest-running American musical in Broadway history. Broadway shows may not be for everyone, but it truly says something when a show is completely sold out and not one single person is left sitting down at the end of the play.
In 1877 life in the cities of Cheyenne and Chicago were very different. Although they differed they had few things in common such as the use of newspapers for information. Another thing that both of the cities had in common was neither city had used electric lights yet. Also, both cities used trains as a mode of transportation.
In general, if I was African American sharecropper arriving in Chicago, I would have been surprised to see the number of sharecroppers from the South arriving in Chicago with me. During the Great Migration from 1916 to 1918, it was estimated about a half million African Americans moved from the Southern to Northern states and 30,000 arrived in Chicago for various reasons. In this assignment, I’ll discuss some things I would encounter (Mullane, 1993, p. 455).
Chicago is 237 square miles of land. It is a home to an estimated 2,695,598 residents. Have dozens of cultural institutions, historic sites and museums. Some interesting facts include: nearly 40 million people visit Chicago annually. In 1900, Chicago successfully completed a massive and highly innovative engineering project reversing the flow of the Chicago River so that it emptied into the Mississippi River instead of Lake Michigan. Each year, the Chicago River is dyed green to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago, Illinois is one of the few free zoos in the United States. The Zoo is one of the oldest zoos in North America with 1,100 animals from about 200 different species. I chose to write about Chicago because one day I hope to live in that city with its great attractions.
You ever had an Italian Beef ? Chicago has the best Italian Beefs I have ever tasted. They may be one of the best foods in Chicago, but great food doesn’t make Chicago the best place to live. I have lived in Chicago almost all my life. This city has its ups and downs. I will not say it the worst place, but it’s definitely not the best.Chicago has a lot of problems, but one of the reasons I don’t think this is the best place to live because of violence. Another reason is that there are too many people. Lastly, Chicago is very expensive.
Chicago, Illinois is home of the Cubs, Oprah and most notably it has a skyline filled with amazing skyscrapers. It was in this city that stone masonry, due to its tendency to be very heavy and needing a strong foundation and also its low tensile strength, was enthusiastically replaced by the steel skeleton of the world’s first skyscraper, the Home Insurance Building. This American city currently boasts of another feat, the world’s tallest building designed by a woman. Jeanne Gang designed the mixed-use high-rise, Aqua Tower (fig.1) for the urban setting of Chicago. Aqua Tower is the greenest and most appealing skyscraper in a place that has inspired some of the country’s greatest architecture. By using digital tools, Gang has fused traditional methods of building with an organic and sculptural façade that a few years ago would not have been achievable.

Round orbs of yellow light pierce the stale dark air of the garage, as the chain rattles and the huge door creaks and groans while the small engine hums to heave heavy panels up, it reveals the light of day coming in and now the silvery silhouette sits in the middle of the garage, with a stance that looks ready to tackle anything. Approaching the beefy fender the tiny reflective orange dot towards the front, lit up with the rest of the lights. Directly under the broad fender is the rubber wrapped with five symmetrically spaced circles. Slight edging slopes make a symmetrical design around the whole wheel. Directly around the center are five silver bolts. Proceeding down the length of the vehicle we come to the black full side steps with the diamond-stamped design on the top to step up into the cab. Directly above that are the door

I went to that city when I was ten...at the time I considered it “the biggest city ever”. Now 4 years later I am visiting there again. I never really imagined getting the chance to go to the extraordinary city of Chicago again. But I guess everything in life happens for a reason. So I decided, why not go again!

As a few hours passed; it seemed as if we were in a different state. I was fast asleep and didn't know where we were. I asked my dad and he said we were two hours away from our destination. We were on a highway, so my dad said we were allowed to take our seat belts and relax.
