One goal I have set and plan to achieve in the near future is to have a part time job in or near my college I attend in the fall to help pay for college expenses and needs or wants I may have. Having a job is going to be adding extra stress to my already stressful college life, so I will need to create a schedule to manage my time between studying, homework, the dance team, and leisure time. Another important goal I’m going to strive for in college is to have straight A’s all my years I attend. This is a very challenging long-term goal I hope I can achieve, but if I manage my time wisely and try my best in all I do with extra studying in my weaknesses, I hope to come close to this goal. One important life goal I have set and plan to pursue
1-What is your plan for the next year and how likely are you to stick with your plan?
Keeping track of my academic goals this school year is very important to me. These goals consist of obtaining a 4.0 both semesters. To achieve this, I plan to pay attention in class and make sure to study for tests and quizzes. Also improving upon my procrastination so I am not finishing a project I was assigned two weeks ago the night before. I aim to accomplish this by working to have 50% of a project done, 50% through the given amount of time to finish the
My short term academic and career goals include finishing my associates degree in pharmacy technology and receiving my pharmacy technician certification while also working at a local rehabilitation hospital during the same time. I plan to achieve these short term goals by studying hard, keeping my grades up, and making time to also work full time to help pay my bills while attending school. My long term academic and career goals include graduating from Casper College and at some point getting in to a pharmacy program to become a pharmacist. Working in a pharmacy is what I strive for and I would like to start as a pharmacy technician and work my way up to finally becoming a
Because I have identified several tools given to me – and that I am aware of my purpose, I can now set goals. My most immediate short-term goals as a college student include: becoming proficient at balancing my time well, soaking up the information that I am being taught, making great grades, serving my community, traveling and studying abroad, and attaining internships and scholarships.
Grades I guess overall, I had a pretty good year, in terms of academics. I’ve kept all As throughout the whole year, which in nice. I even got a perfect attendance award one time, (2nd Nine Weeks) which is shocking, because I get sick really easily, and i'm pretty sure I was absent. Hey, i'm in no position to complain. School is a relatively easy thing for me, grades, teachers, etc. Personally, I really enjoy school. It’s something i’m good at, and something that I can understand easily. My only problem is being surrounded by idiots who think they are entitled to more than the average student.
The next year freshman are going to have to be responsible and do their homework if they want to pass. The thing that next year's freshman have to do is they will have to be more responsible. In the first quarter of high school I didn't do any of my homework and I had a D. But the second quarter of high school I missed a couple of assignments but I moved my grade up to a C. Homework and being responsible are big components in high school because your grades actually matter. If you don’t pass high school than you won’t get a job. So that's why it is important to do your homework and be responsible. I am telling you this from my own experience. So your freshman year you have to step up your game and do your homework and be responsible. If you're
Has a neighborhood ever had a limit on choices made in the community or in the creation of the houses? Some communities have little to no involvement with other neighbors or have no activities to do with others. Other neighborhoods may have a HOA which could limit the freedom and creativity that some home owners may want. Lastly, neighborhoods may be located further away from shopping centers and residents may need to drive further to get food, water, and gas. In possibly the near future we may become more connected in our communities, have more variety in home design, and have better access to shopping centers. (5)
Your life may feel as though it is coming to a closing point but I assure you it is far from over. You have reached a new era in your experience, a new phase that will bring new challenges and changes. Your body has withstood years of life, love and growth and that is something to celebrate, not fear. Your legs have carried you far and wide, your eyes have seen beauty beyond words and your hands have touched many. Celebrate these changes, celebrate the body that continues to hold you in its shell and learn to nourish yourself. Now is the time where you must learn to love and care for yourself the best you ever have. Our lives are a cycle and a circle constantly changing and flowing. Perhaps these coming years will bring experiences you couldn’t
The goals that have a high priority in my life are the ones dealing with academics and my strategies for completing these two goals deal with my grades. I would need to receive mainly A’s and very few B’s, as well as taking the required coursework for my major. I would also like to get involved in campus organizations, which I have done by getting involved in both Enactus and Impact. To obtain a position on the executive board in Enactus, I will start out as an active member, move up to a project leader, and then become a board member. Along with academics, I would like to further myself in my career by having an internship and a part-time job. My strategy to find a part time job is to use the resources the career center provides, such as the
Some of us have watched the movie “ into the future “ about new technology and different ideas we can have in the future. For example robots that can clean your house or food printer. We can have new devices and technology that works better and makes everyday life easier. Which I was thinking with all these new devices it could make life easier or maybe even funnier. If I was able to create new devices and better technology for the future I would have driverless cars, portable house, and teleportation.
The future holds many surprises in which case can be your dream job that has been taken by machines due to the increase of technology. However there might be jobs that may look absurd or unconventional but might exist in the future. To get the best out of the future, I would use my three favorite things and create or do a job that will fit in with the future. I have chosen to do agriculture, art, and robotics. Out of these things, I have decided to engineer robots that run on plants, tends to gardens, and topiary. I think the more our society grows, the more usage of clean energy is needed. Our current source of fuel is not renewable fuel. Our concerns for the planet include the decrease of our carbon footprint. This will help in multiple ways while enjoying the job.
My goal when I entered college was to make sure I stayed focused in school so that I would be able to keep my grades high. In my first semester of college I was fortunate enough to have a job that would allow me to only work weekends so I could focus on my studies throughout the week. I wanted to find a job that I was passionate about and that was doing makeup, so I quit Chipotle. I worked for people for a short amount of time because they wanted me to change my school schedule and although the money was very tempting I made a promise to myself to always put school as my top priority. I ended up turning down a lot of job offers. I think it was a smart choice because now I'm working on campus while continuing to get excellent grades.
I understand that in order to achieve my goal, I will have to make many sacrifices such as continuing to balance a full time job with family responsibilities and numerous difficult classes. I will work hard and plan to put a lot of effort into my classes to assure success in each of them.
My first goal is to earn a 4.0 GPA this fall semester. This is an enabling goal because I will need I need to have above a 3.8 to get into the nursing program at UNC, therefore getting perfect grades this semester will set me up for success in the future semesters. To accomplish this goal, I will have to study for at least two hours a day, Monday through Friday. I will also need to go to at least three hours of tutoring each week. I live in a pre-nursing living community, therefore my RA has tutoring hours and the school provides two hours for each class of tutoring a week. I am a disorganized person and I rarely use a planner, and to get a 4.0 I will need to be very organized. To address this potential obstacle, I will sit down every Sunday and
Everyone should have personal goals that evolve around anything that needs to be accomplished. I set goals on a daily basis. One goal that I seem to have not truly focused on has been my college education. Considering all things, I decided I needed to focus on my college education. The first thing I needed to accomplish was to enroll in an institution for higher learning. Now that my enrollment is complete, I am an official student at the University enrolled in the undergraduate program for business management. As a student at the university, I now have to set personal goals so that I will be successful in my endeavors. My personal goals are to gain personal growth and development and graduate from my undergraduate program in business
