Nesbitt seems like an amazing school where I can focus on the things I enjoy doing the most. Even when I was little I always wanted to do something hands on. As long as we could move around, go outside, or do something really involved I was having fun. One of my favorite things I used to do and still enjoy doing is designing and actually getting to follow through and build it too. Just being able to design something how you would want it to be and then building it and getting to see it is amazing. One of my favorite designs and builds was a 3D printed insulin pump. In the PLTW class I was taking we had to design a useful product that people could use in everyday life. Once I had designed it on Inventor™ my teacher allowed me to 3D print it.

As part of “Dance Houston 2013”, the “Ndani” was performed on April sixth of the year two thousands and thirteen at the Wortham center. She is a Houston, Texas native, who attended college in Atlanta, Georgia, and has performed a lot in the U.S and China and has participated in numerous productions.
The 20th century saw a shift in dance as new forms were created and artists began entertaining audiences in new ways. The rise of Jazz music and the swing era allowed a couple of tap dancers, commonly known as the Nicholas Brothers, to gain fame. The Nicholas Brothers questioned what dance could be by pushing the human body to the limits the likes of which had not been seen before. Other innovations in their dance such as their vernacular style, informal training, and unique musicality directly opposed many of the virtues of classical ballet. Through my own interpretations of their work as well as through the use of primary and secondary sources it is clear to see that the Nicholas Brothers opposed classical ballet through their style, musicality,

I participated in NSSHLA last year. I attended the socials, and it allowed me to meet other individuals in the major. I went to several of the guest speakers last year. Miner (1956) discussed the body rituals among the Nacirema. The Nacirema are human beings, just like all other humans. They bleed, they love, they are born, and they die. However, for some reason, the Nacirema consider themselves a special breed of humans. This belief is so ingrained in their traditions and cultures that some have taken it to the extreme. Scholars have argued that the Nacirema’s inflated sense of pride stems from the greatness of their ancestors. They descended from a great group of warriors who came together and agreed on the future of their descendants. This essay will examine the Nacirema’s obsession with oil and how this informs their aggressive behavior.
Nicholas Winton is probably a name unfamiliar to many unless you have kept track with the news the past few months. Sir Nicholas Winton was an unknown war hero until recent when he came out about it. He didn't want to be thought of as a hero so he never came out to the public to speak about it. He went through so much to save six hundred and sixty nine Jewish children to make sure they escaped to a safe place and found them homes safe away from the Nazi rule.
