As the financial management firm grows and transformations of the times, it becomes essential to advance the technological components that comprise it. Furthermore, technology is only growing further advanced, and the cost of business does not go down, so naturally increasing efficiency and reducing cost needs to be a priority. The greatest way the company, Northcentral University, can develop and grow is through a new technological initiative that centers around centralizing staff, an integrated team outside of the headquarters in boundaryless fashion, and implementing new software technologies to connect these two things.

Main reasons for wanting to employ this modification have to do primarily with costs and efficiency. The current technological system is becoming outdated and is approaching the twilight of its effectiveness. Additionally, in the coming years, there will be greater demand for technology integration as well as an expected increase in regulations to the industry. Members of General Electric were already driving such initiatives and ideology of the late 1990s and early 2000s (Chak Man et al.,2013). Large Technology firms also employ similar practices and philosophies such as Google and even temporary placement firms such as Adecco have noted a significant increase in firms performing these actions to hire better talent, cut costs, modernize, and improve overall function of the organization (Chak Man et al.,2013).
