I am not particularly hoping that this class will give me guidance in answering any questions. I am more hopeful that this class may teach me something that I don’t know and refresh my mind on physical science and the different types of science. I think that I am looking forward to the section on Astrology or Earth Science the most. Those topics are usually interesting to me when it comes to science. I don’t believe that there is should be any conflict between the study of science, faith, and God. Just because you are a Christian or just believe in God doesn’t mean that you have to believe in the big bang theory, evolution, or even that God created the World. Being a Christian means that you have an open mind to everything and can accept things at face value rather than …show more content…
Personally I think that it could go either way, I believe in the possibilities that God may have created the world while I also believe in the possibility that science and evolution explains how humans were created. Maybe Earth can sustain life because it got lucky in its placement and just so happened to have oxygen and everything started as microorganisms and evolved into what it is today. Maybe Macro evolution can explain how things came about, or maybe it can’t. I grew up going to church and studying the scriptures, the thing that I always understood was that it was my job as a Christian to keep an open mind about everything. There are too many different possibilities that could possibly explain why and how the Earth and its inhabitants were created, but there are too many unknowns to fully make a decision about what actually happened. Sciences are just the study of things going on in the world around us, in space, etc. so why should it change someone’s beliefs. I am the type of person that to have a completely solid opinion I want to have

Communicating with Families in Domain 4 is a professional goal I would like to work on to advance my profession as a teacher. This is a goal that I have little to no experience with and feel that I would fall in between the categories of unsatisfactory to basic of this domain. Recently I have the opportunity to be the lead teacher in my practicum class, during this time I had two different parents who came in and volunteered. With my CT being gone it was up to me to answer questions and communicate with the parents. Many times I didn't know how to approach them and relied on the substitute to help me. In fact I felt very uncomfortable because I felt they were critiquing everything I was doing. After talking with my CT later that day she informed me that as a beginning teacher she felt the same way.

Adaptations in terrestrial environments involve the structural and functional qualities of the organism, to achieve the adequate intake of oxygen and other essential substances for the animal to survive, the evolution of more complex anatomical structures were required. Gravity is stronger on land than water, which means terrestrial organisms have to be more structural than aquatic organisms. Also, the balance of gas exchange with water loss is a key feature to survive in land. For example plants, when doing photosynthesis require carbon dioxide and water to produce oxygen, at the end of this process a lot of water is lost and terrestrial plants have to compensate the water being lost and the water taken from soil. Furthermore, the dispersal of gametes by wind or other animals have helped plants reproduce in large amounts and create varieties of species of the same kind. Short-term weather patterns as well as long-term climate conditions based on precipitations, temperature, wind, humidity as well as other factors are survival obstacles that organisms in land have to adapt to live; endothermic organisms have to maintain a constant internal

Faith in God and the belief in science will be one of the greatest contradictions in this world. If God exists, did he created this universe and is there evidence that he is real? Was the universe created because of the undergoing of science? People have had major conflict with these questions in the past and within society today. Even if God does exist and people have faith, science can be one of the most leading forms of worship. Science and religion are complex social and cultural and have altered from different cultures and change overtime. Science addresses reason and evidence while fatih addresses sacredness, religion, or revelation. The contradiction, whether faith or science created this world, is depended on the beliefs of mankind; the believers of Christ or the believers of science.
