According to Table 1.2, the following categories fell within close range to the mean: number sense, attends to print, basic reading, articulation, communication (receptive), matching, pre-writing, colors, and shapes. It is evident through this data analysis that most students are at the emerging stage of ability levels, implicating that they require some level of prompting to ensure they produce a correct response. It is concluded that students require continued instruction with addition, reading, and working independently are skills that require continued instruction. Division, multiplication, graphing, and telling time were areas that all students found to be the most challenging, thus these findings confirmed my original assumptions,
Why should we accept you?: I've played with the staff members and players on Vexon for a while now almost for as long as I have been on Vexon. I have realized that this server has become more then just a place to play Factions and make friends its more like a family to me. I also noticed how much I care about this server, how much I care about the community and the staff, and having fun on here. The real reason I want to join you guys and become staff is because I want to help people as much as I can and I want to work with you guys and become apart of the family you guys created. I want to grow with this server and impact it in a positive way. I play nearly 4+ hours a day talking to players, welcoming new people , and being there for the staff talking with you guys and just having a good time. I want to be apart of what you guys created and see if I can help this server the best I possibly can. I'm here to help the community and do whatever I can with whatever powers you
My mine rank is Raindrop. I do not have a rank on CycloneNetwork, but I do plan on purchasing one in the later future.
A past hospital I worked at would be suitable for this project. While it was attached to a military organization, it ran most of it’s information technology services and infrastructure according to their own requirements, not necessarily that of the military base it was located on. Looking back on the infrastructure as a whole, there are many security protocols that should be overhauled and hardened to prevent breaches.
II. Compare the bill with another of the same denomination and series. If the bill feels all right, or if you are a little suspicious but unsure, hold the bill side by side with another bill. Different denominations, obviously, look different, so get a note of the same amount. In addition, all denominations, except the $1 and $2, have been redesigned at least once since 1990, so it is best to compare the suspect bill to one in the same series, or date.
I believe the name of the new school being built should be named after a local important historical figure in our community. I believe that's the best way to name it because alumni of our previous school would appreciate us keeping the school name local, which could possibly inspire them to donate us money to help build up our school. I believe the mascot should stay relatively similar to the one of our old school because, we all still live in the same community so why not have a similar mascot.
I would like to become a member of staff to overall help the CycloneNetwork mainly on the Skyblock servers.
This is actually the second time in my life that I have watched this video - I first watched it two or three years ago -, and it was even more intriguing than the previous occasion. When I originally watched the video, I understood what he was saying at a conceptual level but, as I’m realizing now, not at a contextual level because, though I haven’t experienced much in my 16 years, I’ve grown a lot since my middle school days. When I watched it then, I understood how everyone is influenced by external factors and that no decision is entirely of your own making, but that’s where my thinking stopped. Watching it now, I continue by applying that THEORY to my own experiences, which has aided me in understanding it at a greater level. It’s like
Lesson 1 clip 1 shows the introduction to the lesson, beginning after I welcome students to the classroom, by reviewing coins and their values as a class. After reviewing the Coins PowerPoint, the clip shows the beginning of my explanation for part 1 of the How Much Is Your Name Worth worksheet. The focus learner is wearing a purple sweatshirt in lesson 1. My instruction strayed a little from the lesson plan regarding the check for understanding section. In the lesson plan, at the end of the introduction section I listed to check for understanding before moving on. In the lesson, I did not specifically ask students if they understood the material and were ready to move on, instead I gauged student understanding based on their answers to the
Having a great GPA is always desirable but 1 year after college or three months after the class is over, how much does the student retain? One of the complaints you often hear from teachers of grades 1-12 is that students forget a significant amount of information over the summer break so extra time has to be allotted to get them back up to speed. Since significant loss of information probably occurs with college students too, I asked myself, “What can I do to improve retention of taught information?” Repetition, I think, is the key. I would like to incorporate opportunities to see key concepts in different ways in my courses. I would like to develop courses that parallel the major course to facilitate the retention of taught information. For example, if a student makes 80% on an exam. An analysis of the missed information would be used to develop a plan to reinforce the missed concepts in a parallel course/lab for the class. The student would be asked to
While preparing for this particular assignment I was able to examine and learn about FEAP standards, read chapter 1 of Integrating Educational Technology for Teaching and Take the Tech Survey to self-assess myself as a future educator. While completing the requirements of this week I learned the importance of technology regarding education. Even though I knew the importance I don’t think until completing the survey I really understood how much technology is integrated into the educational experience. While taking the survey I realized that there were different categories of technology within education. The fact that there were many different categories within this subject shocked me. When I first signed up to take this course I didn’t think
You are absolutely correct, the problem potentially lies with the candidate themselves. I have spoken to a few individuals who say they use “creative” words to boost up their resume, therefore I agree that without technology such as resume scanners, hiring employees would be a difficult process. Although I have not been in the market for a new job in a while, I recently decided to actively look for jobs in another state to be closer to family. Consequently I have found it difficult to get to the interview stage, after reading the course material, I’ve obtained a new outlook on resumes writing and job hunting. I know that in the past I have made the mistake of submitting a generic resume, I know that I need to make an effort to customize
The class as a whole displayed an overall understanding of identifying the main idea and informational illustrations as well as sequencing events correctly in a non-fictional text. A total number of ten students mastered all learning objectives. Seven students were able to meet almost all learning objectives but did provide the appropriate criteria. The seven students all displayed a common error by not providing illustrations for at least five events. One student was unable to master one or more of the learning objectives. The one student who was unable to meet the requirements did not sequence events in the correct order and provide the required illustrations. The student was able to determine the main idea by providing an appropriate title
“Class, class - please. Just be quiet for the last five minutes so I can explain your next assignment.”
[In lesson 1 at time stamp 2:44, I illustrated a Math Mountain and asked students, “What Math Mountain is that?” A student gave an answer of six. I elicited the student’s response by asking, “How do you know that (name)?” The student responded by telling the class that one more than five is six. I continued to build on the students’ answer and circled the six at the top of the mountain. I explained that this was our big total, a vocabulary phrase. I ask students to raise their hands and tell us what the word total means. Some students were hesitant in defining this word, so they did not raise their hands. I went back to what a student mentioned earlier and circled the numbers as I spoke, “(Name) said that five plus one equal six. What do you think total means?” The same student gave the answer, “All of the numbers together.” I paraphrased their response and added to it by motioning my arms in a big circle while repeating, “Big total, it’s going to be the biggest number.” I also had the class repeat the word big total.
Firstly, I would talk with the student so as I can have a clear understanding of why. Something may have happened that morning or in a previous writing activity that has ruined their confidence. Great teachers get down to children's level to truly tune into what students need to state (Lyons, Ford & Slee, 2013). If the student’s emotional state is affected in any way, their cognition will be affected and they will have trouble focussing, and lack the willingness to participate. Teachers must not overlook the importance of understanding the essential part emotions play in learning (Churchill, Ferguson, Godinho, Johnson, Keddie, & Letts, 2013). If the student is refusing to participate due to something that happened that morning, it is vital
