James Joseph Bulger Jr. otherwise known as “Whitey” Bulger is an infamous murderer who escaped the police for sixteen years. His only known son died at the age of six. James Bulger has been accounted for nineteen murders whilst he has only to this day been proven of eleven of these murders. Bulger was almost called a mini mafia leader. He led a few people who killed for him. One of the people that Whitey was mostly acquainted with was a man named Kevin Weeks. Kevin Weeks was James’ right hand man James could trust Kevin with his life, and he had to. Whitey Bulger was the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) number one most wanted fugitive for sixteen years. James got the nickname of Whitey as a child because of his white-blond hair color.

Orenthal James Simpson, more commonly known as O.J Simpson and “The Juice”. Orenthal was a NFL legend being a running back for the Buffalo Bills and has received many awards during his career and was put into the NFL hall of fame in 1985, however on June 14, 1994 O.J was arrested for the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman. Should O.J keep his position in the hall of fame? Should he be in jail? Was he innocent? Some of you think these answers are obvious especially for the latter question, however after reading this your answers may change slightly.

Why does a 14 year old African American boy have to be brutally murdered for the Civil Rights Movement to be mobilized? Like most Americans in the Southern parts of the United States, they despised African Americans. Many don’t know why they do they just know they’re supposed to.

Dylann Roof will face the death penalty. Roof is accused of killing nine people during a Bible study on July 17 at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church. Prosecutors are trying to get Roof the death penalty because he has killed more than two people, and other lives were put into risks. Prosecutors also mentioned that Roof does not feel any remorse for the killings that he committed. Roof also have some federal charges, this includes: hate crimes and obstruction of the practice of religion.

Emmett’s mother Mamie was an excellent woman. She was the first black woman to graduate from Argo community High School and she worked in the Air force as a clerk.

Simpson lived a rough life growing but, instead of that taking over his life he decided to make a change by becoming a football hall of fame, actress/tv star and later being turned to a serial killer. Was the killing done out of love or spight? Or did he even do it?

On the morning of Monday, June 13, 1994, investigators found the dead bodies of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. They were brutally slashed the night before. This caused a lot of news coverage because of who Nicole Simpson was. She was married to a O.J. Simpson, a famous football player and celebrity. From the start, many people suspected O.J. for the murders because O.J. and Nicole recently separated. So theorists asserted that when Nicole started hanging out with Ronald, it caught the eye of O.J. Critics said that O.J. killed the two out of anger and jealousy. At the same time, O.J. had many other people supporting him and believed that he was not a suspect. Even today people still argue about this case and its mystery.

On June 12,1994, Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman were murdered. Their bodies were discovered outside Nicole Simpson's condominium. Nicole Simpson was the estranged wife of the famous football player and T.V. star O.J. Simpson.

Regarding Simpson’s case, “among the general public, opinion on O.J.'s guilt was (and, as of 2005, remained) deeply divided along racial lines, with approximately two thirds of black Americans believing that O.J. was innocent and two thirds of white Americans believing that he was guilty” (“If It Doesn’t Fit, You Must Acquit” 2). The divided opinions between whites and blacks prove that race played a significant role within this trial. America was at a true dividing line throughout the entire case. Whites typically believed in Simpson’s guilt because of the evidence found and suspicious actions that did not add up, and blacks mainly believed in his innocence and were determined that the evidence was planted. Some even “speculated at the time that if Nicole had been African American, the country would not have been so interested and conflicted about the outcomes of the various trials” (Overman 2).

Many people know of the famous murder of Nicole Simpson. She was divorced from the famous football player O.J. Simpson. Nicole Simpson was murdered along side her friend Ron Goldman on June 12th 1994 outside her Brentwood home,(Ross, n.p.). Once she was discovered everyone assumed that her ex-husband was guilty. However there is a serial killer named Glen Rogers who claims he killed her. Could it be that O.j. Simpson and Glen Rogers worked together.O.J. Simpson started his football career playing for the Buffalo Bills before joining the San Francisco 49ers,(n/a, n.p.). Knowing that he played football could add to the credibility that he did play a role in the murders of these two people. Head trauma can cause a multitude of brain injuries,

Jeffrey Toobin writes about how Nicole Brown had called the police force at least eight times to report domestic violence. The eighth call, however, was the worst, where Nicole exclaimed “He’s going to kill me! He’s going to kill me!” when the police showed up. Confused at first, the officer John Edwards, “Shined his flashlight on Nicole’s face. Her lip was cut and bleeding. Her left eye was black-and-blue. Her forehead was bruised, and on her neck -unmistakably- was the imprint of a human hand,” (Toobin 120). This was one of many times that Nicole had called the police to report domestic violence against O.J. proving that he was responsible for engaging in the violence more than once. His actions were not okay- especially because he was disrespecting a woman- and I believe that when Nicole finally stood up for herself (like a woman should) and divorced him, he got angry and ended up murdering her and her good friend Ron

There was no past evidence of mental illness so that cannot be a reason why he committed these murders. He deserves to go to jail for murdering those innocent people. Although he killed these people he admits to it but does not seem to care whatsoever. Normally this would lead for people to think he has mental issues but, this is not the case according to police. He was just a person who even has a wife and two kids. To me this seems like he was just angry with something or someone according to the phone call he got, and that led him to a killing spree. The phone call certainly triggered something, so once that phone call is investigated maybe the mourning families of the murdered people would have somewhat of a reason to why they lost their loved

This documentary was a collection of many primary sources, mainly news footage, from June 17, 1994, that showed how various events unfolded as most of the public at the time would have seen them happening. This day was already a big day for sporting events: the NY Rangers won the Stanly Cup, the soccer World Cup was kicked off, the Nicks eventually win the NBA finals, golfer Arnold Palmer plays his last U.S. Open, and in baseball an attempt is made to break the record for home runs. However, as notable as all those events are, they were eclipsed by OJ Simpson’s thrilling attempt to evade police after his ex-wife’s murder, even the sports reporters covering their respective events were talking about it.

After all the evidence that we have found after studying this case it would be fairly hard to convict him of murder. Accidents happen everyday around the world.
