I walk over to science getting my jacket even tighter, in La it's more warm than San Francisco. In Los Angeles everyday I had to wear short cloth, and in San Francisco I wear long clothes. In LA I had much more friends that what I have here. While getting inside the class Mrs. Cooper greeted us with a big smile saying “hello” to everyone. I sat down in my seat listening to directions until I hear a loud ring and saw everyone jumping up from their seat and my heart pacing. It was the fire drill, so we got in a straight line and walked over to the grass. When we got to the grass I sat down on the grass looking around and playing with my fingers. Suddenly, I felt a tap on my shoulder and my heart started beating quickly again, I turned quickly wondering who it is. I see a girl from my class and said, “are you new to the school?” I felt my heart pacing and started to sweat a bit, I said quickly, “um, yeah, I'm new here.” She seemed like a nice girl, but my heart didn't stop pacing quickly. Then, the teacher came and told us to be quiet. …show more content…
I asked the girl, “what's your name” and she said “Natalie, what's yours” I Said back, “Kaitlyn.” I didn't know what else to say. There was a silence between us for a couple seconds until she said “do you have any friends?” And I said “no, not over here” feeling embarrassed about it. Then, there was a silence between us until we got back to
The morning was foggy and I could see the front of my school through my window. It was a nice sight to see. I walked into the kitchen to make myself a bowl of cereal and there she was with her head down on the table. I could tell that she arrived a couple of hours ago because the tears hadn’t dried from her cheeks yet. I got myself ready gave her a kiss on her forehead and headed off to school. I had walked into class eager to see what my teacher Mrs. Padron had in store for today. Every single day there was something new to learn and there’s something about that infinite nature of learning that really appealed to me as a child. I cherished those 7 hours I spent in class the most I could and I dreaded the mere thought of having to go home where I would have to face the
You could tell my brother was screaming as much as he could with his small little lungs. I quickly ran over to our tiny bathroom wondering what was going on. There you could see my little brother using all his force to hold up my mom who had fainted on our cement floor. Even with the two of us repeatedly yelling at her to wake up, her eyes stayed closed. I began to really worry. I ran over to her bedroom and scurried through my blanket looking for my phone. As my sister dialed 9-1-1, I ran back into the bathroom where my brother was sobbing. My sister had already called my aunts and cousins over. They were all trying to help wake her up. They called out her name multiple times. They also hovered rubbing alcohol under her nose, in hopes of her waking up. I let my brother know that everything was going to be fine and that the ambulance would be here in no time to help my mom. I was shaking as I sat next to my brother helping him hold up my mom. My older cousin took our spots and helped sit my mom up.
I pull out a chair right by Emma and put my chin in my palm. The teacher, Mr. Brown, started to teach which made me want to go to sleep. My eye hesitated to stay open then I heard a loud bang. Someone drop their chair on the floor which made me wide awake in this boring
When the children walked into the classroom, they all seemed excited and eager to start their day. Miss Suzy greeted each student with respect and a smile on her face. Every child seemed to know where
We stay at the beach for a day and have a lot of fun together. Dylann's eyes glow and I've never seen him this happy. The whole day was magical.
It was that time of the year ,which was back to school, it was the day ,I got to meet my 8th grade teacher ,I was sweating and had butterflies in my stomach. It was coincidence to find my friend Sheyla at the parking lot. Sheyla said she has met her teacher ,but needed a few more supplies ,so she was just back from getting her last supplies. Sheyla’s family went with us to met my teacher ,and I was glad to see her because it was quite a while since I last saw her. Later, after we left Berkmar grounds,I went to Sheyla’s house and we hangout the rest of the day. It was the first day of school, usually I would be feeling nervous, but today I wasn't ,which was good because I didn't want have sweating hands and a racing heartbeat. I arrived at Berkamr and went straight to homeroom ,I found my seat and waited. My first day at school wasn't to bad because the only thing
I couldn't believe as i entered the room that her body was just laying on the floor with four knives in the back of her neck. To get back to this point let me telling how and why we are currently in this situation. Its was a causal day in the life of Alex who attend Triad math and science academy. One day he left his creative writing class and went to the restroom. While in the restroom he got side tracked and began talking to Jasper who also had the same class. Once they knew it already 10 minutes passed while they were talking.
The sun rising and birds chirping, a fresh a breath air consumed my lungs. It was the start of my junior year at Coral Park Sr. High, and I was ready to enjoy my year with old friends and maybe have a girlfriend. As I pass through classmate and teachers outside the classroom; going up the main stairs in the back of the school entrance, I was interrupted by a wonderful fruity smell. As I turned to see what aroma lured me, suddenly I bumped my head and fell off the stairs. Once I realize what happen, I quickly ran up to the girl and held her hand; her hair was covering her face at that time so I didn’t pay so much attention. Ring! Ring! Ring! The bell rung and I was late. I apologize to her and told her that I would invite
One of the Auburn firefighters came in to tell us about the flashover chamber. But before we could go into the chamber, since it was a field trip, we had to review everything we had already learned about flashovers, backdrafts, and how they worked. We sat for about an hour in the classroom, and listened to a powerpoint about flashovers. We watched some videos, and answered some questions, then it was finally time to actually go outside and get ready to go into the chamber. We walked out to our gear and everyone geared up, except for our helmets. Because the chamber would get so hot, and our heads were going to be so close to the fire, we had to wear special helmets, that were provided by the Auburn fire station. The helmets were black from going through so many times, but they were still functional. We split up into two groups, and the first group went inside. I was in the second group, so I waited right outside with some other students. While I waited, I talked to Kaitlyn. We talked about how excited we were to go into the chamber, and also about how nervous we were. I could see smoke coming out of the top and sides of the chamber, which made me even more excited to go in. This would be or class’s first time actually experiencing real fire in the class. Once the first group came out, we all helped clean up the chamber, and got ready for round two. The second group got all of our
After about an hour of waiting a sheriff came out and told us she was ready to be seen. The anticipation of seeing her was always high. I entered the room smiling, I smiled even harder when I saw her face. I told her all about my day, about what I ate, how I was feeling, how school was going. I filled her in on the parts of my life she was missing out on.
I was dropped off at the school and I shook with excitement. “Good luck and do your best!” my mother shouted in her usual high and happy voice as she sped off in our small Honda. I walked into the school gym and
We've come to an agreement that will make everyone happy." At this point in time the realization hit me like a sledgehammer to the gut. I wasn't sure if I could handle the four words that were about to come out of her mouth.
Today was my first day in Mrs. Ferguson’s first grade class at North Mahaska. When I arrived the students were not in the classroom yet so I talked to Mrs. Ferguson about my schedule for the semester. She said that today I could sit in the back and observe. I was a little disappointed because I did not feel a warm welcome like I have with my other observation experiences. Once the students arrived, they began their bell work where they practiced writing their name. I was surprised by this since the students are in first grade and should not have to practice writing their name.
Walking to the principal's office. Hands sweating, really nervous. I open the door. The door slowly creaked open and I walk in the sweet smell of flowers hits me and I sit down. Different thoughts raced through my mind. What was going to happen? Was I going to get in trouble?
After the police showed up we had to explain everything we saw and give our statements he also asked for phone numbers so I just wrote down Vince's number deciding I would explain later what had happened today.
