Imagine how life would be if our society did not have cars. Today, our society is dependent on cars for our daily routines. From transporting our food, clothes, and technology to just going to the store across the street, cars are a very important part of our society. In the 19th century, only the wealthy and upper middle class had access to automobiles, and they only used cars for fancy transportation and to show off their money. This was due to the extreme prices of cars in the 19th century. With these high prices not many people could afford them, especially not the working class. Henry Ford revolutionized the automotive industry in the

A highly popular muscle and sports car, the Ford Mustang functions as a daily driver, weekend warrior, and a show winning work of mechanical art. Whether someone just needs a basic transportation to get from point A to point B, an eight second quarter-mile beast, or a show stopping work of power and beauty, Ford has produced a Mustang for every need.
Why are Mustangs common in Georgia? I have a idea. I think that that country girls and boys in Georgia just love Ford Mustangs. They're going crazy over them simply because
Back in the day, when our vintage cars ruled the road, there was no such thing as a maintenance-free battery.
“We look forward to running more NMCA events in 2016 in the Top Sportsman class, we love fast door car style racing, I believe this 67 Mustang
The subculture of lowriding has been a way for Mexican Americans to express themselves through their “tricked out” vehicles. It was, as journalist Ted West wrote, a way to “express the refusal of a young Chicano American to be Anglicized. There has never been a clearer case of the automobile being used as an ethnic statement.” Although there are preconceived notions of negativity such as gang involvement with lowriding, that notion is false, and shows how the lowrider community is misunderstood. However, lowriding isn’t as prevalent in America as it was back in the 70’s. Regardless it’s still thriving in the United States among other ethnicities and internationally for similar reasons it became huge in the U.S. The construction and presentation of lowriders are an outlet for artistic expression to redefine and challenge the assimilation of urban space.
From the promises of the automobile to the model-T no one could predict how the car would alter the world we live in. The dependency on the automobile is quickly shifting from not only an American problem, but a global one. As Rudi Volti describes the begging’s of the Automobile, we also see America’s curiosity in the new technology and how it could change our world for the better, (2006). Volti describes how the automobile wasn’t an American invention, but quickly became the American ideal; no one has developed and changed the automobile as much as America, (2006). From the begging the automobile promised freedom that we had never experienced before, it has greatly altered our landscape and our culture. Amy Best describes the Latino youth
And so in this hypothetical world it might be useful to have a list of cars to take you through the different challenges that life has to offer. So guys and girls this is your time to have all the cars that you will need to face your
When I think of Ford Motor Company the song comes in my mind, Mustang Sally, think you better slow your mustang down, you been running all over the town now, I guess I have to put your flat feet on the ground, all you want to do is ride around Sally, ride, Sally, ride. A good looking man is driven a red convertible mustang with a woman riding on the passenger side with a white scarf on her head as well as the lady is wearing a red satin top along with having on plan make-up with candy apple red lipstick to bring out her lip with the color of the car.
Early on, “The rich conspicuously displayed their wealth by racing, parading, and touring their expensive vehicles in public”. There was a clear sense of pride owning the automobile. This new prized-possession allowed Americans to do what they wanted and whenever they wanted to, which was a crucial part to the American Dream of freedom.
So, in 2003, it was the celebration of the 100th birthday of the Harley-Davidson. And, in order to commemorate it, fans of this famous brand rode until Milwaukee to see the parade of 10 000 Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Through this celebration, we can see how recognized this brand is for the owners, or should I say fans. Indeed, this case also shows how the strategy and the marketing of Harley-Davidson are good; because Harley has fans and they
A wide variety of individuals, with equally different tastes, bought and rode motorcycles (Exhibit 4). “Knee down,” or racing aficionados, sought extreme performance and functionality (e.g., reliability and technical excellence). ”Easy-riders” lay at the other extreme, and associated the motorcycle with a particular lifestyle.
The Harley Davidson brand has been one of the premier symbol and pioneering developers since the beginning of the motor cycle’s genesis. Also H-D’s brand is part of the iconic tapestry and foundation of the motorcycle industry. Part of the H-D’s mystique is all about attitude a feeling that because you own a Harley Davidson motorcycle you are special, you belong and your part of the family. In a society that worships at the altar of internal combustion, riding a Harley just may be the last pure expression of what it means to be American, the freedom to go somewhere, anywhere, just you and the road and the wind in your hair. The essence of the Harley lifestyle is to dress up in black leather and ride your Harley to the horizon, calling for all the world to see you like an outlaw rather than the mild-mannered citizen you are the rest of the week. It is no wonder that today this American icon is so loved and recognized around the world.
Harley Davidson was founded in Milwaukie, Wisconsin in 1903, and has been manufacturing motorcycles continuously since conception (Harley Davidson DVD, 2008). The company is now one of the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturers and controls 26% of all motorcycle sales in the USA, and a massive 50% of the heavyweight segment (Armstrong & Kotler, p129). The Harley Davidson name is an incredibly strong brand in the world today. Not many people in western culture could hear the name Harley Davidson and not conjure up thoughts of the powerful, throaty sounding machines carrying their riders across the country. One rider describes the feeling of freedom a Harley Davidson motorcycle inspires as having “the road to yourself” (Harley Davidson
