I am pursuing a Medical Assistant Associate in Applied Science degree. I choose this major because the field of work I want to be in is more hands on. I want to be in the action, where I can be doing multiple things and always be on the move. Throughout my entire life, I have always been a diligent worker. In kindergarten, I was put in the Special Learning Group, a program that assisted children with learning disabilities. With the help of parents and teachers I began studying and learning the material. By sixth grade, I was reading above grade level and was one of the top test scorers in math. I was the first person ever to be dismissed from the learning group. To succeed, I needed to study the information in a unique way. I believe that this early struggle is why I have become so studious. I know that with my dedication to learning is what will set me ahead.
