Everybody loves knowing that they are safe. Americans know that they are always safe. They know this because our military is always protecting them. This is why I think our military is America's greatest gift to my generation. Navy SEAL’s are a gift to my generation because they are highly trained professional warriors. I couldn’t imagine training for years upon years to fight. I would be so scared. These Navy SEAL’s are important because they are top of the line warriors fighting for us every day even when we don’t know it. This is truly a gift to my generation. Fighter pilots are a gift to my generation because they protect us in the sky. I would be so scared fighting with planes 10,000 feet up in the air. These fighter pilots are important
America has given many gifts to my generation and lots of these gifts save lives and cure sickness. America has so many things that other country’s don't have. Without most of these gifts America wouldn’t be as healthy and would be poor.
Do you really know what you have, and i am not talking about phones and stuff like that I am talking about what America gave to you. One day I was asked this question and I did not know what to say at first. I was thinking about that question but i didn’t know till now, but do you.
Have you ever thought about what America has done for your generation, and what that represents? I have, and America has given my generation freedom. Recently I have asked myself these two questions, “Are we actually free? Are we actually allowed to make our own decisions?” I have thought about it and we are free, we are allowed to make our own decisions, and we have equal rights. “How do I know this?”, you ask. I know this because if it wasn’t true then our nationwide motto wouldn’t be, “America, land of the free, home of brave”.
America has gifted me and my generation with so many great things. We should honor the Veterans many of whom have given their lives to protect and serve our country. We as American people are born with so many rights. We use and abuse those rights every day. I believe we as American people should wake up and realize how hard people have worked to get us our freedoms. Every day we wake up and we go to school or work not even thinking of those of us halfway around the world working to keep us safe and able to be doing what we love. We need to wake up and see the gift that America has provided to us every day. We the people of the United States should join together and honor our gift from America.
The most memorable patriotic holiday to me is The Fourth of July, also known as Independence day. People pop fireworks to show the enthusiasm of this great holiday. “Land of the free home of the brave” is what inspires me about Independence Day. This holiday is so amazing because we celebrate it for declaring the 13 colonies as the United States of America and independent from Great Britain. These are the amazing gifts to my generation. Do you think living in America is great? If you do you should know that Americans are free and able to do things freely. If you live in America you should be proud.
“Education is most powerful weapon you can use to change the world” (Nelson Mandela). What I think this quote mean is that you can use the things learned in your school to fight back against the bad guys and protect our country. Education means that we are lucky to be able to learn and be taught because we can use this to have fun and fight wars against the bad guys and use the things to build and make new things and like iphone pc’s. And mortars and build cars like lamborghinis and other cool cars and traveling places without education I would not even be typing on this laptop or their even wouldn't be an school here cause we would not even know how to handle money and would not know how to fight back again
If what you loved was taken away from you because of where you lived how would you feel? America’s gifts to my generation is doing what I love and freedom of expression. I feel this way because people sacrifice their life just so I can have freedom to express myself and to do what I love.
America’s gift to my generation is we have individuality, we can bear arms, we have the right to vote, and we have freedom. Some countries have to wear specific clothing, they can’t have guns in their houses, or they are ruled by a dictator or king. America has opportunities and options to make our own decisions. We vote and aren’t influenced by one specific person, we vote and choose our representatives for the president, governor, mayor, and and any other political role. Some people that are in our military are related to us in some way.
America has contributed many things to my generation. America is truly lucky to have troops and veterans, for they have been amicable to my generation. One thing they have given is improved women's rights. Before my generation, women weren’t totally equal, but people before me have worked on this.
What do the brave men of the Navy SEALs do for us? What do they do to become SEALs? To most people, it may not seem like that big of a deal, but to others it means the world. To the majority of those who make it in, it was a decision they had set in their mind sometimes many years before. The training that Navy Seals go through is called BUD/s (Basic Underwater Demolition Seals), among one of the hardest courses known to man, they implement this training by maintaining their name as one of the most elite, flexible, and highly trained commando forces in the world.
America has given me many things, and among those are some of the most important amendments of the Constitution. The right to freedom of speech, religion, and press are just a few of the rights of Americans declared in the Bill of Rights. These ten amendments that form the Bill of Rights were ratified on December 15, 1791. I consider these rights a gift to me from the previous generations of the United States, because we have the right to speak up for ourselves, we have the right to give opinions, we have the right to choose our religion, and we are not restricted in our opportunities in life.
I believe America’s gift to my generation is freedom. We don’t have to go through many wars to keep our freedom. We won’t have to fight England for our freedom again. We won’t have to go through the violent bloodshed of the World Wars. This was given to us from past generations of Americans that went all around the world so we could stay a free country and not be overruled by another country. Men and women risked their lives so we wouldn’t have to change our religion, change the government, or change the economy. This generation won’t have to fight for freedom, we won’t have to fight for women’s suffrage. We can have our freedoms without having to fight for them. But yet, we still have people in Afghanistan fighting for those freedoms
Mark Twain was quoted saying, “Courage is the resistance to fear-mastery of fear-not an absence of fear.” Although SEALs actually stand for sea, air, and land, a real SEAL stand for courage, honor, and a commitment to your unit and country against all enemies foreign or domestic. They train harder and in the toughest environment known to man. They are simply a small elite maritime force to conduct beach front surveillance, unconventional warfare, and low visibility operations. SEALs provide the type of power, that a ship, submarine, or even jets and tanks would provide, but when circumstances prevent any of these options. SEALs are a cohesive unit whose best weapon is the element of surprise! The SEALs were thought to come about in World War II and since that time have suffered many losses and sacrifices such as Grenada and Vietnam. They have also been held up high as heroes with their work in both Gulf Wars and the capture of the World’s most wanted war criminal in this modern day, Osama Bin Laden. “They may be few, but they are mighty!”
Opportunity, it’s the greatest gift a country can give to its citizens and is the greatest gift America has given to our generation, but I really think it’s a gift to the whole nation. If we did not have all these opportunities no one would enjoy living here, no one would want to live here. If no one wanted to live in our country, then why do we have the third highest population in the world at approximately 330 million people. In fact, in 2015 alone we had about 1.05 million people move to our country looking for better opportunities. Rather, that’s a parent looking for a better job to support their family, or a better education system to send their children to.
One of America's gift to my generation is freedom, but If you really think about it. Freedom is not a gift from America, it's a characteristic from America, America provides freedom. It provides so many characteristics not only freedom and better than other countries can, but freedom is one of the main features that America provides to our generation. Within freedom, there's many kinds of freedom. America's gift to my generation is freedom because of freedom of religion, freedom of speech and freedom of the press.
