PHD Scholarship Analysis

Receiving this scholarship will be really helpful and will relieve a lot of stress for me financially.

My first goal is to graduate and get certified as a medical assistant. To reach this goal I will attend every class, study hard, and pass every class so when I complete my externship I will be confident in my new career.

One of the first things I want to do is travel. It would be an amazing experience to be able to visit places I have never before been able to see, such as New York or Africa. The first thing I want to achieve is getting my drivers license. Driving is something that becomes very important in life. I will take driving classes and practice driving every week to help me achieve this goal. I plan on getting my drivers license sometime before summer next year.

This scholarship is very important to me in many ways.This scholarship will help me physically and emotionally if I receive money. For instance, it will make me stress less about how I am going to be able to pay for my tuition and fees and not have debt. Going into college, I would like to peruse many of my goals. I would like to start out getting my general studies in and then build up to become a Registered Nurse. Along with being a Jayhawk Journalist, I have Bipolar Disorder. Managing school, work, and mental health has been quite the challenge throughout my college career. My college experience has been incredible with all of the people I have met and concepts explored while at KU. However, the cost has taken a toll. With this scholarship, I would hope I could work less and focus more on my studies, take some time to get more active on campus, or find an internship related to my career interests. I currently take out loans and my parents takes out loans as well to finance my education. I also have an on-campus job to help out as well.

The most important things to me now and what I plan to do, is continue putting myself first and finishing school. It is also important to me to focus on my mindset to keep a positive outlook on life. I need to not lose focus on myself. As long as I keep my focus where it should be, I will be able to reach my goals of having a successful life. This will include always being eager to learn, setting new goals for myself periodically and being consistent. I want to be a well-rounded individual and increase my success always by doing this, I must dedicate my life to learning. I want to educate myself with new ideas always to expand my mind.
