The Giver a Lois Lowry book has an exceptional life style which questioned my ideas, and beliefs. The novel describes an ideal society, in which everything is supposed to be perfect, with all life’s problems solved. It is all about being happy with what the people have and not questioning their life styles because they did not know the difference between good and bad. The people are denied of their preferable way of life without their knowledge of how the real world is supposed to be. The main character Jonas finds him self gaining access to memories of everyone, when he’s appointed the assignment as a receiver of memory. Feelings are great. Pain or happiness every feeling is great. It show what emotion you have toward other people or situation. I could say I like apple because those are my feelings. They should be available to have such powerful symptoms. Next, Feelings, colors and memories are all astonishing. They make life interesting. There’s appalling memories about war and such, but most memories resemble pure goodness. Fun; this is a very powerful word. It describes and action or a verb. An adverb; very powerful one. For a community to take away all those aspects of life is not good. As the reader can tell the book by Lois Lowry The Giver it’s a very bland place to live. Everything is rude, or against the rules. Their life is made for them, unlike the real world were we in order to succeed have to try our best and try really hard. They need more excitement in their lives. Finally, in our world we have conflicts which humans must address but having these conflicts helps out in the long run. We create solutions that make each nation stronger. Jonas lives in a "perfect" world where war, disease, and suffering have all been eradicated. Everything is in order; everything is under control. The people have no worries or cares. The Community strives for "sameness," in which everyone and everything are the same and equal. Sometimes the worst is for the better. The reader will learn from their mistakes.
