I think I would be a great candidate for Paws Whiskers & Wags because,
I have dealt with my animals passing away before and I understand the kind of care people want their animals' remains to be in. Dealing with a passing away of an animal is tough because they are our children too.
It is breathtaking loosing a loved one, and I understand the nature of the business side as well as the family's side when an animal passes away.
It's really not easy being in that position, handling the deceased, but we have to be there for the families as comfort and treat their pet as one of our own.
Respect is the biggest aspect of working there I can imagine because of how the animals' remains are treated and how the owners/family member remembers them.

All the great times that owner has had with their dog or cat.
Memories are the most precious because we all look back and say, I loved that dog with all my heart and she was my little angel.

P.S: I hope this was a great read, It came from the heart
Many animals are just like family members. I am happy to hear that you still have your dogs with you though I am sorry to hear about your cat. The potty training days “ugh” remember them all too well “lol”. My son just gave up his dog “Gambit – Great Dane” he had him since he has been a puppy, but adopted him out to a great family, plus they gave 2 acres of land for him to run around in. His reason was due to being in the service, and where I am living I can’t have any pets. The family that has him, said that we could come and visit anytime.
In this article, George E. Dickenson and Heath C. Hoffmann (2016) discuss how deep an animal's emotional intelligence truly is. They discussed how when an animal is being euthanized those surrounding it understand what is happening and react in a way that is almost human. They found this by conducting a survey taken by certified veterinarians. Even when an animal is just sitting in the waiting room before they receive the shot the other animals around them start to go over to the sick animal as if they are saying goodbye or comforting it. Those surrounding the sick canine also start to express sorrow, act on their owner's emotions, and feel stress (p. 61-65). Since veterinarians completed the survey and every source they used are reliable
As an animal lover, it pains me immensely to see an animal in distress. Animals subjected to abuse have no one to defend them, therefore humans need to speak out as their voices. Unfortunately, in our world, many people have a lack self-restraint and control; their defenceless animals become punching bags. I devote my life to helping animals in any way I can. Often times the abused horses and dogs sent to my barn require immense care and attention. I consistently provide the support these underprivileged animals crave. One cannot imagine the horrors that animals rescued and given to my property have faced, but my boundless love and guardianship always goes a vast way. Humans should strive to make eliminating animal
Generally speaking, it is quite morose when people do not properly look after their pets. I believe it is significant to stand up for pets who are mistreated because they, unlike humans, cannot stand up for themselves.
There could be many ways that people may try and ‘milk’ the system which could be a reason why this is a topic of debate but, if the animals are ‘family members,’ then there is reason to believe that owners should have just as much right to use their sick leave for their ailing pet, and bereavement leave for their deceased. Fact is that losing a beloved pet is no different to losing a child or close relative. ‘Immediate family and household members’
Their decision came out of a hope it would be easier for me to deal with. I was holding her in my arms as the doctor placed the liquid into her IV. This was a horrible pain I hope that all those that don't care about animals could feel to feel the life leave from a deeply loved pet. I believe my 16yr lifelong companion left this world to heaven. She was more than a pet she was a family member. Photography will allow me to display the amount of affection that is between a person and their pet. I could attempt to capture this loving bond throughout my travels around the world.
As a person, who has difficulty demonstrating or talking about my own emotions, I tend to become a more compassionate and understanding person when a friend or a family member is going through an emotional situation. Before, I thought to myself that people would consider me as the last person to get comforting advice from because at times I can be cynical. However, some situations have shown otherwise. For instance, the time when my cousin had to make the decision to allow a veterinarian to euthanize their pet. Some people will argue that a pet is “just an animal. You shouldn’t get too emotional about it.” However, that’s not my belief. I believe a pet is part of the family, and like any other relative, losing them can be
Have you ever wondered why so many families have pets? There’s no bond quite like a pet and its family. Pets love unconditionally, they know your feelings, and when you own a pet, they’re always there for you. They make you feel better when you’re down, they bring joy to your life, and they add companionship. When an animal is brought into a family, they become a part of the family, and when they get sick, they deserve the same care and love that a human does. Treating a pet is priceless, because you’re not only making the pet better, but you’re also making the family smile and be happy. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the joy and relief wash over families’ faces when you heal their family members. This is why I want to be a veterinarian.
Most young children have at least a vague idea what death is—they might know its name, how it affects the adults in their life, that some of their favorite movie or book characters have experienced it—but when a child loses a pet they are confronted by mortality for what is often the first time.
Often times, pets are considered a member of the family. Losing a beloved pet is difficult for anyone to endure. It’s especially traumatic for children who may not understand what is happening.
“To choose to live with a dog is to agree to participate in a long process of interpretation.” This has been one of the most influential books I have ever read. Not only that but this book taught me a lot of things. It showed me that there is a countless number of people out there who feel a deep connection and affection for their dogs. I’ve loved animals since I was little but no more than a handful of times have I’ve seen other people with such a deep passion for animals and specifically dogs. It taught me that you can grieve for the death of a dog the same way you grieve for the death of a loved one, because essentially, they are the same being. This book showed me that you can talk and write about anything even if you consider it the “unsayable”,
If you read my previous post in this blog, you know that I am an animal lover that is devoted to helping make every animal?s life better, especially because they usually don?t have a say on what happens to them.

It’s not quite night-vision or a super power, but those whiskers pick up on even subtle changes in air currents, providing your pup with information about the size, shape, and speed of things nearby. This allows your dog to better sense approaching dangers or prey — even at night.
Although every animal clinic relies on money to keep their doors open in order to continue to treat animals in distress, veterinarians still have a responsibility to treat pets with sincerity and compassion, in addition to providing appropriate medical care. When a client brings their pet in for euthanasia, for instance, many veterinarians and supporting staff demonstrate a cold demeanor since they do not want to show express their emotions while at work. However, this behavior can be perceived as uncaring or insincere,
