I am grateful for God who blessed me with a wonderful family that are willing to go drastic measures for me to experience lifetime opportunities. My experience of a lifetime opportunity was when I traveled out of the country for the very first time with an educational program called People to People Student Ambassadors Program. This program allowed me to travel with high school students from four different states to Greece, Italy, and Sicily for 19 days. My family and I did everything that we could do to raise money for this trip, but God always make a way and for that I'm immensely
Balancing my time with school and taking care of my dad and aunt every day after school to care for them was quite challenging. Although they both insisted to focus on my studies instead of them I refused because they meant the world to me and I was afraid to lose them. Within time everything got better for my family. I learned a lot from all the crying and anger I had and I learned to value time and loved ones more than and this is where my outreach to god came into the picture I have never had a close relationship with God but dealing with my father and aunts illness gave me the motivation to reach to God. I believe that because of him my father will someday find that kidney donor and his eye surgeries will continue to let him recover a bit more of his eye sight and also the reason why my aunt conquered colon cancer.
One thing that I am thankful for is my family. They are very encouraging and help me do things. They help me keep trying when I want to give up. They also encourage me to do activities that can positively affect me that I don’t want to do. They are also very caring. They make me the food that I like, they help me monitor my blood sugar and overall health, they provide me with shelter, and they buy me fun things like toys or video games. They also pay for my activities, such as sports and Boy Scouts, and they also attend my games or meetings even if they have better things to do. Overall, my family give me many reasons to be thankful for them.
To begin, family is at the upper extreme of the many things I am grateful for. Without them, I do not know what would have become of me. My family is the main reason I am who
Everything that my family has provided just makes realize even more of how fortunate I am. In Peru, I lived in a small neighborhood full of poverty and despair. I went to a small private school that was two blocks away from my house. I was raised by my mother for eleven years of my life while my father was here in America working really hard to sustain us. Moreover, my life in Peru wasn't the greatest because of the circumstances I was living in but I was happy and very lucky to have what I
I am thankful for a lot of things. I had another chance at a happy and safe life when my country was filled with fear and war. My parents sent me to catholic school to give me a good education, and most importantly I have two loving parents who support me on all my decisions and give me immense love. I am thankful of that. As much as I have things going in my life that I am not happy with, I’m still thankful for everything that my parents have done to protect me and my sister and keep us happy.
I am thankful that I have a leader that I can cherish and depend on, also known as the Lord. I am thankful that I have a great family that will allow me to fail and still have my back. A family that will cherish the time we have together. I hope to one day have as good of a marriage that my parents have today. I hope we can love God more than each other and be proud of that quality. I am so very thankful to be free and live life the way I choose. My values make me the person I am today and I wouldn’t change them for the
A few years back, life threw a curve ball at my family. My mom had been diagnosed with cancer. Skin cancer to be more exact. She was diagnosed with Melanoma which is the only skin cancer that is deadly. This experience taught me to always help others and when one faces a challenge, never back down.
I got one of the greatest people in my life do to the single message that he sent and taking him up on that message. Without him I would be completely lost! He helped guide me in the right direction, made sure I always did the right thing and made the best decisions. He impacted my life an enormous amount, I would not be where I am today if he wants here with me to help. He taught me many thing, such as to never give up and always try and do your absolute best. Also pushed me to become successful life. One person can change your life, and make you who you
I am very thankful for a family that cares for me and helps me no matter what, and that’s why I love
My parents taught me very well and was an amazing role model to look up to. For that I am very thankful for everything I’ve been through and following my parents foot
I have plenty of blessings to be thankful for. Since my childhood, I grew believing that God wanted me to achieve something in my life. Reading books by Myles Munroe had greatly cemented and confirmed my conviction. As I grow older I came to realize the biggest secret in my spiritual life. Religion and its practice were not enough to live a fulfilled, godly life. Rather understanding the will of God through his son Jesus occurred to me to be a true essence of Christian life. Jesus is the son of God and he was also a man who walked the earth and experience how we live. He knows what we are struggling with, what make us loose heart and our strength. That is why God always has mercy on us. I am always reminding myself that God loves me regardless
I have been very fortunate for the life I have been given: a loving family, good health, and the opportunity to build a future of my very own. Many other cultures around the globe do not even possess the ideological or tangible necessities that
To this day I consider me even being born one of the biggest gifts God has ever given me. For my mom, a big family is what she always dreamed of. However, that proved to be more difficult that she thought. One son and four miscarriages later, her and my Father had just
No questions asked, my greatest gift from God is definitely having the privilege to be a big sister to two amazing girls and a little sister to one. Everyday they never cease to amaze me in everything they do along with the goals they put their mind to and achieve. Allyson, Ellen, and Colleen have accepted me for the person I am and love me unconditionally despite my mistakes sometimes. I enjoy watching each one of them grow and achieve anything they set their mind to. Being able to compete in sports throughout the years with them has definitely been one of the highlights of being a sister. I know that Ellen and Colleen look up to me which motivates me to be the best sister and person that I can be. Being able to have a big sister like Allyson
Out of all the many blessing I am lucky to have I have to say that one of the blessings I am most grateful are the many amazing people in my life. The people and pets that I am most grateful for are my loving puppies, my crazy friends, and my supportive family I love them all so. The support they give, the love that will neverend, and the endless laughs you share with your pets, friends, and family.
