Personal Narrative: A Day At The Museum Of Murder

“I remember I was waiting anxiously on a windy Friday 13th at about 2 or 3 to enter the Museum of Death, but since it was their Grand Opening there was a lot of people, as you would expect. As Shannon, my mom and I were waiting in line, we saw people that you would typically be the murderer or a serial killer in a scary, movie but we didn’t think much of it because it was a museum about death, what else was I supposed to expect.”

“Wait, who are Shannon and Mom?” the little boy asked.

“Shannon was my best friend and well Mom was my mom.”

“Oooh okay,you could go on now.”

“Okay, when we were finally going to get in, it was around 6 or 7 and the worker told us that the self guided tour would take us about an hour and that they were going to close at 8:00, but we convinced him to let us in. We were probably about halfway through when we noticed that they were going to close so we went to the bathroom and then we were on our way out. When we got to the closest exit we saw that it was locked and that we were locked in.” …show more content…

“The letter next to it said: THE GLOW IS SAID TO GRANT THE THREE WISHES OF ANYONE THAT ASKS IT TO HOLD IT UP IN A DARK PLACE AND WHERE THE GLOW IS THE ONLY THING YOU CAN SEE, THEN SIMPLY SAY YOUR WISHES ALOUD AND WATCH THEM COME TRUE.”

“Since we were the only people there, we thought that we might as well try it. We decided that we would all get one wish. Shannon wished for 1 million dollars, Mom wished for a new car, and I simply wished to be rich and famous. As we were walking around, Shannon said that she was going to see something really quick and when she turned the corner the lights shut off. The last thing Mom and I heard from her was “Money” then a scream and we never heard anything or saw again that night.”

“Where do you think she is?” I asked
