“Everyone hurry we need to get there soon if we want to have time to look around.” said Dad. My family and I were in South Africa for a vacation and decided to head to the Masi village for a day. We finally got into the car ready to head to Masi village. This South Africa trip was really fun but I had no idea what we were going to do in the village. “This will be really good for you guys.” Said Mom. My Mom is always positive and she never gives up even if it's hard. She was really excited for my family and me to do this and thought it would be a really good learning experience for us. “I agree and plus, this trip will be way more educational than three weeks in school,” said Dad. My Dad loves history and he also loves traveling. He believes traveling will be a great experience for us and will help us see more of the world. Right before we were about to leave he was the first in the car, to nobody's surprise. “Ya but we don’t have to drive for a hour and then get car sick when we go to school.” I added. I wasn't really excited about what we were doing, but I didn't know that much about it either so I wasn't mad we were going to this village. I always took what I had in life for granted and didn't see the bigger picture. Instead I just focused on me and what I wanted. For basically the whole car ride my younger sister Lucy had been asleep and she hadn’t been listening to anything we had been saying. Lucy was only 6 years old at the time, but is very light spirited and
The darkness consumed my cousin, but not completely. A part of me did not want to believe that she committed a mass murder and maybe, just maybe it was someone else. But the proof that the police needed was all there. We weren’t that close but it pained me to know that someone who i thought to be as a kind and caring person could kill people.
Last year, in October during the cheerleader’s concert, that my mom and dad were singing at, I asked, “Do you want to dance?” My mom said, “yes”. Walking out to dance, she fell and accidently tripped me and landed on my ankle. It felt as if someone was breaking my leg in half. It got really numb where I couldn’t feel it, but I still knew I was in some pain. Picking me up off the ground, my mom sat me on the bleachers. Everyone came over there and it was really embarrassing. My dad carried me to the car and we drove to the dollar store to buy me an icepack to put on it.
I did not meet with Pt. , I was paged by Lisa Micciulla, front desk in the emergency room to please come to the ED concerning an "urgent" situation regarding this Pt. When I arrived in the ED registration area an MGH Security personnel stopped me to talk with Pt's daughter, Charlene McDonald. Pt's daughter explained she was not being allowed to see her father, who she understands was brought to MGH for surgery after a fall. Explained to Ms. McDonald, I was aware of Pt having a gaurdian, and that there was a court ordered visitation schedule between Ms. McDonald and Pt. She reported this was an extreme situation and she showed me text messages she had sent to Pt's guardian, Attorney Tine Hajjar. I advised I could not allow Ms. McDonald access to Pt. Based on the order from probate court. Ms. McDonald has visits with Pt on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday 11:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m.
When I was five years old, I began the road trip that changed my life. I was born in Guatemala and my family and I decided to move to Canada for my father's new career. The journey had a duration of two weeks and was full of ups and downs, but I would not have wanted it to be any other way. This adventure really showed me the value of exploring new places, meeting new people, and gaining different perspectives. Since this occurrence, I have developed a strong passion for travel, getting to know new cultures, and learning new languages.
On March 4th, 2018, I, Officer Albert, was working as a Police Officer for the Wichita State University Police Department. At approximately 0150 hours I was dispatched to Shocker Hall for a suspicious character report. The suspicious character was a white male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt riding a skateboard. I arrived at approximately 0151 hours on the south side of Shocker Hall and walked down the south steps towards the courtyard. Officer Andrew Abbey was on scene talking with an individual fitting the suspicions character description, see Officer Abbey's report. I spoke with the individual later identified as Tyler Micol Dane Kuhn. Kuhn's eyes were glassy and his pupils were large. Kuhn's hands were shaking and he seemed confused. Kuhn wasn't able to
When I was in eighth grade I went on my first trip out of the country to Nassau, Bahamas. Going on this trip was one of the most exciting and unforgettable times of my life. Not only was it a fun experience, it was also the first time I realized that I love traveling. While there I was lucky enough to visit many places, such as Blue Lagoon Island and the beautiful Atlantis Resort, and immerse myself in the Bahamian culture. My time in The Bahamas was not my only great memory from that trip. The journey to get to The Bahamas itself was also quite interesting.
This summer, I took a shopping trip to target for a late night snack attack. Before checking out at the cashier stand, I strolled through the one dollar spot. If there’s anything I’ve gained from my mother, it's to never ignore a good deal. It was mainly cheap plastic toys for kids but, yet something caught my eye. A Dr. Seuss section, filled with little metal lunch boxes, pencil pouches, sippy cups, and pencils. From Green eggs with ham to One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish. I immediately started sifting through these goodies. Dr. Seuss had been the foundation to my reading journey. Reading all his books since I was six. For Dr. Seuss to fit into my epiphany moment, let me give you a brief but important background to me, Belinda Coronado.
On February 13, 2018 at approximately 1803 hours, I was dispatched to the Walmart located at 8701 US HWY 19 Port Richey, FL in reference to a stolen wallet. Upon my arrival, I made contact with the complainant / victim, Delmarie Mangual. Delmarie advised she had been shopping at the store when her light colored rectangular wallet broke off of its strap after she had checked out. She advised the wallet fell without her noticing somewhere between the registers, the general merchandise exit of the store and her vehicle.
In the hospital, with almost all my blood lost, I was also unconscious several days. Marilyn visited me, but I do not remember that. Only a week later I commenced little by little to come down to Earth. Marilyn’s first words that I remember were, “You’re better, you will recover soon. I love you.” But I couldn’t say anything clearly for a long time, and just listened to her.
I have been living in Pyla for two years now and let me tell you they it hasn't been easy, the consent longing for money is driving me crazy. There is no work. so i have decided to move Africa. I feel like the need for dental care is a lot greater than here. So that's it i'm leaving. I'm leaving for the airport today. I've been living Africa for about a week now and I now know that there's no business here. Although there is no business I have managed to meet new friends their names are Imani, and Zane they live with a tribe situated in on the edge of the Sahara Desert. They told me that they use branches from a special tree called Salvadora persica. They break off the the branches and scrap off the bark then it is called a Miswak. Since
It was my Grandpa Buck his story changed his life. It was one beautiful afternoon my grandpa decided to go to the Drunken Bar and Grill after he was done with worked. He was going to meet his friend Peter there. They had a hamburger and some cold beer. After he was done at the Drunken Dar and Grill he went to another bar. He had some more beer and he got drunk and he had to call my grandma Judy to have her come pick him up. Then my grandpa decided that it was fun to go and party with his friends every Friday night. Then he said very quiet
I am particularly proud of the fact that I did well in my event during track season. I was asked by the track coach to run in an event that I have never done before--300 meter hurdles. At the beginning of the season my times were slow and my technique was poor. I watched the other hurdlers and emulated their effort. I took direction from the coach. As the season progressed, my times steadily improved. At the end of the season I competed for a spot in the regional finals. I am happy that I competed even though I didn’t make the finals. This experience demonstrates my self motivation, my ability to overcome stress and a degree of competence I didn’t know I had in a sport in which success is largely determined by individual effort. At
I was in 8th grade, but I walked out that high school gym with my shoulders back and head high like I was the big man on campus. My confidence went through the roof. In one day I had gone from extreme anger with my parents. Then I experienced terror as my parents drove me to the high school. Surprisingly this turned around to confidence and pure excitement for the years to come.
Outside the studio apartment in Hollywood, Eddie notices an entry call access system. Buzzing to her studio 103, the entryway unlocks and invites her in. With her overnight bag in
