“Everyone hurry we need to get there soon if we want to have time to look around.” said Dad. My family and I were in South Africa for a vacation and decided to head to the Masi village for a day. We finally got into the car ready to head to Masi village. This South Africa trip was really fun but I had no idea what we were going to do in the village. “This will be really good for you guys.” Said Mom. My Mom is always positive and she never gives up even if it's hard. She was really excited for my family and me to do this and thought it would be a really good learning experience for us. “I agree and plus, this trip will be way more educational than three weeks in school,” said Dad. My Dad loves history and he also loves traveling. He believes traveling will be a great experience for us and will help us see more of the world. Right before we were about to leave he was the first in the car, to nobody's surprise. “Ya but we don’t have to drive for a hour and then get car sick when we go to school.” I added. I wasn't really excited about what we were doing, but I didn't know that much about it either so I wasn't mad we were going to this village. I always took what I had in life for granted and didn't see the bigger picture. Instead I just focused on me and what I wanted. For basically the whole car ride my younger sister Lucy had been asleep and she hadn’t been listening to anything we had been saying.
