Yesterday was a horrifying day for our town that little demon red chief came back. That whole day I had a frown on my face. This morning he let all of my chickens out of there coops he really almost drove me up the wall . After that he shot the neighbors dog in the eye with his sling shot now he looks like a pirate now. Red chief is so annoying he kept ringing my doorbell and running . I screamed with anger red chief leave me alone. Ever since I sprayed him with my water holes it's got worse. It hasn't even been a hour and I hear a loud boom it was red chief he blew up the old chapel down at end of the road. I couldn't take it anymore so I took matters into my own hands and tried to ask him nicely to stop being a pain in the neck .He replied
If I could go back to any time in the world, I would go back to France in October 1944 on the Western Front. World War Two has always interested me. Being able to see the revolutionary weapons would be incredible. I would also love to take part in such a historic and epic war. War is a horrible event that plays a major part in human development.
I can not begin to tell you about what I have seen over the past three days. When the battle began on July 1st I never would have imagined how many men would be wounded or killed. Makeshift hospitals had to be made for all of the wounded men. Large warehouses and even the railroad station were turned to hospitals. They grew quickly overcrowded though so we had to use other buildings. Churches were turned into hospitals, with the pews acting as beds. Schools and even private homes had to house wounded soldiers in need of medical attention. Volunteer nurses from Gettysburg gathered to help the wounded. The brought sheets and seat cushions from their homes for soldiers. I can only imagine how overwhelmed they must be, seeing all of the wounded
Change is inevitable. Whether it be positive or negative, change is constantly happening. More than often change can take you from the known world and spit you into the unknown, where you return a changed person. While embarking on the journeys provoked by change, you are on a hero’s journeys. The hero’s journey was popularized by Joseph Campbell. When describing what prompts hero’s journeys, Joseph Campbell said,
Chief Wahoo, a logo of the Cleveland Indians, Major League Baseball team. Chief Wahoo, pertains to a cartoon logo that is shown to exemplify a Native American like figure. Like many other logos that indirectly represents Native Americans, people believe that Chief Wahoo is a racist figure and should be changed and not be represented. Although, others may disagree on the matter. Which brings forth the question of, is Cleveland Indians’ Chief Wahoo considered derogatory and racist?
When I was in elementary school, there were three people I was fascinated with: Ludwig van Beethoven, Adolf Hitler, and Abraham Lincoln. Beethoven’s music and personal story enthralled me,and I was striving to understand the appeal of the Fuhrer to those he led to comply with evil, but Abraham Lincoln was my hero. He freed the slaves, he was honest, seemed like an all-around great guy, and was tragically assassinated. I latched onto him because he was one of the greats; his decisions and actions really changed lives of Americans and the course of the nation as a whole. This was truer than I was aware of at age ten. Being fascinated with all the presidents, although Lincoln always had a special place in my heart, I talked about them all the
“ Off to Indiana for Regionals,” Kurt said as he was walking back to the team tent from his outstanding 8k (5 miles) with a new personal record of 26:52. Kurt Swaton is my brother and he is about 5,9 and he is really buff. Kurt is 19 and freshman at Albion College. He runs cross country and now he is the 4th fastest runner on the team. At the start of the season he was 13th and now he is on varsity and going to Regionals. My brother Kurt inspires me because he always tells me, “Never give up and in return, anything can happen.”

I am inquiring about any possible positions you may have available at Camp Red Frog in Chicago. I’ve routinely checked the job postings on the website for around a year, because I wanted to get a head start while I was still in college to see the requirements. Most job postings appeared to require multiple years of experience within the respective field. As a recent graduate from the University of Delaware this spring, I currently do not have the necessary years of experience. However, I am committed to this company for all it has given to me, and was curious if there were any other possible employment possibilities? I noticed on the webpage for job listings it mentions there are internships and temp positions offered as well. I am signed up for job alerts from Red Frog, but have not seen a listing for either of those opportunities. Is there a way I may apply for one of those positions, or are there any openings for fulltime work without the experience requirement? I am hoping to get my foot in the door, and hopefully begin working towards a career with Red Frog.
We were trapped in a house. There were redcoats surrounding the house. All we had was a bayonet and a knife. John was almost dead. He might as well be dead, having been stabbed, shot 3 times and attacked by rabbits (Don’t ask). John pointed out the window and said, “Look”.
Who's your Michigan hero? My Michigan hero is my favorite person in the world, my best friend , Jaytion Wallace . Jaytion is slightly taller than me, so she would be about 5.2. She has brown eyes, dark brown hair and caramel skin. People say we look alike but Jaytion and I don’t see it. When people say that it’s funny , because Jaytion and I consider ourselves as sisters. Jaytion and I haven’t known each other for a long time, but it feels like i’ve known her my whole entire life. The couple years i’ve known Jaytion, I noticed that i’ve gotten better at school, and i’ve done things I wouldn’t have done before I met her.My best friend ,Jaytion Wallace has a positive impact on my life.
turning my head again I saw Simon dive to my aid. He did not utter a
I am your Mohican war chief leader. I would like to join the French side. By doing this we benefit in many ways. I will go into further explanation about what I mean. Until then hear me out.
Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you just simply can not stop yourself from day dreaming that you are anywhere but the place you currently are? If you are similar to me you probably spend at least half of the school day in a daydream. Now, as my english teacher is reading this I am sure she is shaking her head because I have just admitted that throughout most of my classes I am probably not paying attention. (Of course not is Mrs. Sabers class though) Sitting in the colorless walls of Xavier High School only being approached by the administration when I am apparently harming all of student body and the entire mission of Xavier High School with my distracting (and cute I may add) pierced nose and my daily cup of necessary
School shootings have become more prevalent over the past few years in the United States. After the Columbine High School shooting that left 15 dead; another tragedy happened just 1,000 miles away six years later. This tragedy was soon to be known as the Red Lake Massacre that would later become one of the most deadly school shootings since the Columbine shooting. The shooting received major amounts of media coverage due to the findings that the tragedy was pre-planned, and the offender suffered from a lack social bonds. When I examined the findings from the Red Lake Massacre, I came to a conclusion that the offender lacked major social bonds in his life. Social bonds that included family attachment, community commitment, and even school
the toughest decision i've had was last night i last night i let an 8 point walk by my stand at 7 yards so i was debating on killing him because there are only 2 weeks of deer season left and i still have a buck tag i sat there and watch him come in debating on it but i ended up letting him pass and did not kill him. It was so tough and i regretted it after but it's part of hunting and he will be a heck of a deer next year so who knows i may see him again this year or maybe next year when he is bigger only time will tell. i sat there watching him walk away as i was beating myself up for not killing him. 100 times that's home many time i regretted not killing that deer last night it was around 26 degrees and the sun was shining the leaves were
