Today Miles and I came back to Treegap to spend some time with Ma and Pa. While I was waiting for Ma to come and pick us up, I decided to get a drink from the spurt only to find a particular young girl. Her name is Winnie Foster and her family owns the woods. It is like she knew that I was hiding a secret because the first question she asked me was how old am I. I wanted to tell her the truth, I always want to tell the truth, but the truth is dangerous. She was already so close to the secret by asking how old I am and then she wanted to drink out of the spurt! She must have thought I was a total lunatic when I started giving her all of these reasons why she couldn’t. Then she mentioned her father and I panicked! She can’t tell him! I’m so glad
On 08/04/16 at 8:42pm, I was dispatched to 2087 S. Hamilton Rd, on a injury dangerous or vicious dog/injured dog, serious injury, involving a Columbus Police Officer (CPD) being bit by a dog and shooting dog. I arrived at the location. I was advised my CPD personnel that the CPD Officer that was bite was transported to the hospital and that the dog was still breathing. I was escorted to the area where the dog was. The dog was on the ground, next to the dog was dog owner Jackie Fate. I was unable to see any visible injuries to the dog, the dog had shallow breathing. I asked Ms. Fate to wrap the leash around the dog’s mouth to prevent the dog from biting her or me while I placed the dog on the stretcher. Ms. Fate complied, I slowly guided the dog on the
I believe in having responsibility for my actions for the rest of my life. Responsibility can earn me a ton of things, such as money and treats. If I do an action or sometimes help my mother with an action, I gain a dollar or two or my mom gives me a treat, like Sweet Frog’s. In this case, I wouldn’t mind being responsible because it involves something that I care about dearly.
“Beep beep beep” My alarm sounds startling me. I reach for my phone to turn off this horrid noise. It takes all my willpower to not press snooze and just roll over. Then I remember that I am going to Florida today. I excitedly jump out of bed and start to get ready. I step onto the cold tile flooring of my bathroom. I reach the toothpaste and the minty flavor soon fills my mouth, leaving me fresh breath. Next I head into my room to change out of my pajamas.
I did not meet with Pt. , I was paged by Lisa Micciulla, front desk in the emergency room to please come to the ED concerning an "urgent" situation regarding this Pt. When I arrived in the ED registration area an MGH Security personnel stopped me to talk with Pt's daughter, Charlene McDonald. Pt's daughter explained she was not being allowed to see her father, who she understands was brought to MGH for surgery after a fall. Explained to Ms. McDonald, I was aware of Pt having a gaurdian, and that there was a court ordered visitation schedule between Ms. McDonald and Pt. She reported this was an extreme situation and she showed me text messages she had sent to Pt's guardian, Attorney Tine Hajjar. I advised I could not allow Ms. McDonald access to Pt. Based on the order from probate court. Ms. McDonald has visits with Pt on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday 11:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m.

When I joined the military, I had absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into. It is one of the main reasons why I decided to join the Reserves and not Active duty. The other main reason was because I knew the Reserves would still pay for college while I was only active one weekend a month. Growing up in Killeen, Texas – I was right beside one of the largest Army post which is Fort Hood. I had a lot of friends whose parents were in the military, and two distant cousins who were also in the service. All I knew, (or thought I knew) was they had good money.
A few years ago cheerleading was a huge part of my life. I was on two competitive teams that worked hard three days a week to perfect our routines. When we were not practicing we were encouraged to attend open gyms which were aimed at practicing our tumbling skills. I attended the open gym being held one day not knowing that it would be my last. As I landed a one handed cartwheel my knee was twisted so drastically that I heard a loud pop that followed up with intense pain. After icing it and resting for a few days, I started to interpret my pain as being more serious due to the fact that it was giving out on me while doing daily tasks. I also had two close friends that had torn ligaments in their knees that needed repaired with surgery, so
Good morning, like Megan said I am Desirae Hertling. I am currently in my last month of high school at New Ulm Public and I plan to attend South Dakota State University next fall.
With the slip of a hand, my friend was falling to the ground. I grabbed onto her, right before my head hit the mat with a crack. The room was spinning as blackness took over my eyesight. I got up on my feet, tripping as I ran to the next spot to throw another girl into the air. We needed to keep practicing, and I was giving my best effort to do so. My head was pounding, and I realized I couldn’t keep going. I didn’t want to hurt someone if I couldn’t catch them because of how I was feeling.
The storm hit like a speeding bullet. It spun the world upside down, heavy rain blurring the edges of reality. Swollen clouds darkened the sky, drenching the earth with freezing water.
I could tell you so much about me like I have moved 3 times with my mom but never with my dad, or I could tell you more about when I lost my cat Egon but that is not what I am going to tell you about. Today I will be telling you about all about me.
As I grew up in Northern Virginia in the middle class suburbs of Washington, DC, I suppose I had a typical childhood. I played on a girls’ volleyball team and joined the varsity cheerleading squad. I did other “girly” things like hair, nails, makeup, mall shopping and parties. Not so typical was the fact that I lived with my mother, my stepfather and six siblings. We have always been a close knit family who did several things together. Our regular quality time included movies and home entertainment with casual soul food dinners for friends and family. Museums, beaches, resorts, theme parks and other tourist attractions within a five hour driving radius were about the extent of our special group outings. At school,
I had turned off the WiFi capability on my smart phone and laptop, and completely disconnect from any and all forms of virtual communities and social media within 36 hours during the long weekend. I chose to hanged out with friends to pass through the times without WiFi, so I don’t think it is a challenge for me for the first few hours because I can do shopping, keep eating, have a chill chat with friends, and these activities are able to possess much times. However, there are a bit different between my thought and the reality. When I was doing shopping, my brain was all about sales but most of the stores were not having sales, so I planned to do online shopping after get back home as there are always have online sales via my long-term shopping
“ Wake up!” my mom says, as I lay in my bed. Then, I get up and put on my clothes. After I finish putting on my clothes, I jump into my bed, again. 5 minutes later, my mom yells, “Wake up!” again. So I brushed my teeth and went downstairs for breakfast.
