"Are you apart of the play?" Jon had looked at Spike rather strangely when the dragon introduced himself. With a polite chuckle, he said, "In a manner of speaking... I'm the author." Of many things, including the dragon standing before him. However, Spike was quite a bit taller than he had envisioned in his detailed writings of Ponyville.
