One cloudy evening in 1995, there was a family that awaits at Disney World for a week off so they can spend more time with each other. Jonnie is a fearsome firefighter that loves his family dearly. Susan, Jonnie's sweet wife, is always with Emily Jonnie's and Susan's beautiful daughter. "There is a strange taste in the air. Do you taste it Susan?" asked Jonnie. "Yes, there is a weird taste in the air," explained Susan. After an hour went by Susan and Emily explained. "We're going to go back to the hotel room to rest," While Jonnies family were resting he looked around and bout a few things. Then after many minuets went by there was an earth shattering explosion. He managed to get the dog out of the building in time be for the building clasped. When he got out he felt so bad for the people who lost their lives. Susan wisped into jonnies ear, "I think we should get out of here," "I don't think so until we call the other fire fighters, police, and the abidance." The wind chime hung from the roof of the abandoned house , it swayed calmly and slowly against the wind , everything seemed peaceful . We - my father and I - sat on the porch of the rundown house that only we knew about . It was dark and I wasn’t the biggest fan of the night , the night is unpredictable but yet so beautiful .
I woke up one cold, fall morning in September. I went and checked on my kids. They have been kind of sad since my wife, which was their mother as well, passed away in a car accident. They were still asleep, I woke them up one by one, to begin with I woke up Carman, then Christy, and finally, Jessie. Next, I woke up Jessie last because he is the only boy, and his room is the farthest from mine. Today being a firefighter would be hard because there is training. Then, my kids off at school and headed off to work with my trusty dog, Rover, but not before I got something to eat.

I was born into a First Responder family, both my parents were certified in different aspects of the job. My father was and still is an EMT, Paramedic, and the Fire Chief of our local fire department, and my mother was an EMT for ten years. Being born into this lifestyle I didn’t really view it any differently than other families. Around the age of 5, when 9/11 occurred, this changed. My father at the time worked for a company that contracted fire apparatus to the NYPD for 9/11 relief. Due to this he was called out to New York during 9/11 and our whole family relocated there for a few months. This was the first time in which I realized that my parents job is quite different from many others. Instead of running away from New York like many families
Taking another deep breath to help calm his nerves, John folded the letter and sealed it with some sticky tape. With his hands trembling he handed over his most private thoughts to Josie. After they had exchanged letters they said their goodbyes and went their separate ways. Once John got outside he looked up to the hazy sky and let out a shaky laugh full of relief. Maybe just maybe Josie would be the one to save him before it was too late. He hoped that she would open the letter before graduation and help him put back together the shattered pieces of his life. Because deep down that broken boy wanted to live more than anything in the
“No ma’am we’ll wait outside with our vehicles if it’s all the same. Captain O’Hara did tell them help would be out there no more than two hours and he would be back
“ Oh, I can smell the ocean water already.” Lucy looking up, gave a sniff of fresh air as if she could smell it. Faith laughed.

"We're planning an assault tomorrow, and we need one more unit. I'll understand if you refuse, but we might find some answers there. Answers that I think we all want."
“ It taste like the pepper and salt mixed with sulfuric acid.” Montage said in his head quietly.
“Make sure you don’t get too close to the fire” John said to Julia, as she stepped back not wanting to get in the way. When John was finished making the fire he came to sit next to Julia on the wooden bench that made her legs hang off the end. S’mores were the best part all of the kids loved to make s’mores, for the grownups especially. Julia always loved to sit by the fire and feel its warmth on her face. On labor day and memorial
Fire fighter's names change over the years. People put out fires, but now people start them. For Guy, he says, "It's a pleasure to see things eaten, to see things blackened and changed." Things ate and blackened, English books. They call them illegal books. When society wanted everyone happy, they thought the solution to that takes books away, as if books brought unhappiness. Then, the books would get replaced with false information, for example, "...established 1790 to burn English influenced books in the colonies...first firemen Benjamin Franklin." They create society on one big lie. Guy, a firefighter for ten years at the age of thirty. Guy's happy as can be with a big smile, until he meets Clarisse, a young and in her own words, "insane"
Little Marie ran up them as fast as she could, skipping steps along the way. It was a little bit lighter up in the attic because of the small square window. She liked it up there much better even though it wasn’t any safer. First off, the thing that is chasing her could still be up there and second, the building is falling apart piece by piece. As she started to walk, the wood creaked and splinters of wood started to fall from the ceiling. She walked a little faster, but calmer this time. She heard noises from the other side of the room. She hid in and out of the junk that was piled up in the attic of the old Lidtke Mill. Marie
It shows the wife call the authorities and the police come to her house to follow the series of phone calls that her husband will make. With each call, his wife became more aware of her husband’s fate and grieves with her family as they receive news of the plane eventually crashing down. Another example of the grief that each family has is a mother and daughter who only got to talk for a short amount of time. She says, “Hi, Mom, it's me. I'm on the plane that's been hijacked.
I have had an interest in sports and human performance for many years and now that I have found the time and university, I can eagerly begin my degree in Exercise and Sports Science. Having played professional sport, training the elite sportsperson was the initial dream but that changed when I became a Fire-fighter. Even though a very high level of strength and cardiovascular endurance is necessary for this job, there are minimal scientifically validated training programs for Fire-fighters available. The physical and mental stressors of my job can at times be immense and upon completion of my degree I want to further study the science of what fire-fighters go through at an incident so I can then design and hopefully implement programming to
