Personal Narrative: My Division

It's a Friday afternoon, I plan to go to Great Wolf Lodge in an hour with my church. I see one of my friends so he says to his mom “ Hey, that's my friend” I said “Crap” So I go inside to sign in to go and see my friends just sitting in a corner on a big sofa. We are listening to music and just talking then a green bus comes.

That was a lot of money, and I didnt want to let Tony down so I got in the car and started to drive. As I drove the road was empty. I had confidence I was not going o get caught. It was a slightly wormer day out witch might have been because the sun was out. I had the windows down and was blaring music just trying to enjoy life when a cop pulls out behind me.

It was one of those oddities; though identical twins, they had celebrated different birthdays: first, Molly, born on April 1, 1972, at 11:47 PM, and second came Megan on April 2 at 12:17 AM. Their parents, Meryl and Bill, thought it best that the twins celebrate on their own days and had always held separate parties for them. Bill adored “his girls,” and Megan was probably his favorite. Hello, Dr. Taft, I look forward to another exciting semester with you, and my cohorts exploring my inner and outer world. Let’s start with my family constellations it begins with my stepmother, and my father, my older brother Steven along with myself. At the time, I did not know that Ann was my stepmother, and I did not find out until I was older, and she had two sons who lived in Arizona. A few years later her eldest son Tommy would come to live with us, and the life that we were accustomed to would change the outcome of all our lives.

The training ground was outside and depending on what we needed it for was able to instantly change its terrain. I walked over to a nearby basket and pulled out an old wooden bow and a quiver full of arrows.

I began storytelling long before I could read or write. But it was only when I began writing that I realized how much more complicated crafting a narrative was than I initially thought.

Divorce. A shaping tool that impacts the child’s future immensely. With no additional income source, my fresh off the boat mother had to work constantly to keep the bowls filled with rice. However as a direct result, I would have to take care of myself as my mother was rarely at home. My strict mother would never let me outside so I filled my time with video games. Alone with my video games, no one can question my actions or behavior. With only a mother as a role model, I develop a feminine personally. My day starts out like most of a dollar’s day starts. As I rest in my owners wallet. He grabs his wallet and slides it in his back right-hand pocket, with me included. This is how my journey begins.

I have always believed in Christ since I was a little girl. But it wasn’t until I made the decision to follow him when I truly started to have faith and believed. Following him has mold me into the person I am today. Growing up my grandparents and parents set a good example of how living for Christ should look like. They were always involved in church. My grandpa was a deacon for over forty years and my grandma open her house to many people from the church. Both of my parents became a Christian in their teenage years. They both serve in ministry at our local church. My mom sings in the choir and my dad is a deacon. They have hosted a small bible group in our home for over seven years. G sharp, C sharp, E natural. Finger 5, 1, 2, and 5 again. And then F sharp, and then…yes, I finally got it! I think to myself as I do a fist pump into the air. I had perfected a part of a piece I was playing that I had been struggling with for the longest time. My left hand was already tired from hammering away at the piano keys for what seemed like hours. I turned the pages back to the beginning of the song and played through the whole song. I was finally ready perform it at the recital.

I heard a crash and a boom downstairs and paused my horror movies I did not think anything about it at first so I went downstairs and when I saw a shadowy figure dart across the kitchen I freaked out and tried to keep myself calm as my heart was racing then I ran upstairs as fast as I could.

As a teen, I had seen it coming for years, but never really thought it would actually happen. I remember the thought of my parents possibly getting a divorce, as I grew up hearing loud arguments that would suddenly stop when I walked into the room. I always wondered what if and I considered these to just be thoughts however, thinking about it now, I was preparing myself for it to actually happen.

I look around the dark room, watching my allies. One sharpening one of his swords, another punching a bag of sand. And another boy in the window looking down over the city. I sit in the corner, just watching them. All I can think is, how did I become a fugitive of the entire country? I stand up and wander to the door.

I finally got round to drinking my coffee at about dinner time as I was studying for Tech. I heard shouting and then Jade and Bec dramatically entered the room. It looked like Bec had been crying for a while.
