Then, I heard footsteps getting louder and louder, so quickly hid in the closet. I could hear my heart beating faster and faster as the person kept getting closer. It was near the end of my 8th grade school year, about 2 month away from graduation, when something I never expected to happen actually happened. This event really changed my life forever and shaped me into who I am as a person today. I had just arrived at my house after school when my parents received a call that my grandma was ill and that we should come down to check on her. As we rushed down to my grandparents house, my family was deeply concerned about what may have happened because my grandma had never really had many health issues before this. As we arrived at their house and walked through the door, we were greeted with the sight of my grandma sitting in a chair with a blanket around her while she was sleeping. My family’s first reaction

That night i lay in bed i woke up it was 3am i was really thirsty so i went downstairs but before i got to the door i smelled something it was a really bad smell to like diesel fuels fumes coming from a big truck. I checked out the window for any sign of where the smell was coming from but i saw nothing so i was on my way back when all of a sudden i heard this loud noise like a bunch of explosions all at once i checked outside again and there was smoke coming from the bottom of the house. The entire house started shaking i fell and smacked my head and hid under my blankets.

But how it all happened to me was terrible. I was sleeping when I heard a crash from down stairs. At first I thought it was my dog running into things again but then I heard my parents screaming. I was terrified more than ever before in my life. I quickly ran into my closet where I hid behind a few boxes. I then herd steps coming up stars then in the hallway leading into my room. I could hear them at my door. All I wanted to do was scream and run but I couldn’t I was too scared to move. The

I had an idea of what I could do.... My parents had an Old Ouija board in the attic that I always wondered about and was always curious to take it out, I wanted answers of why this was happening to me and why my house. So after my parents went out to the store I went to the attic and took down the Ouija board and uncovered it, I went to my room where this was happening the most and took the little glass piece and asked the board “Is anyone there” The board started to shake and my heart started to beat I wanted to run away but I wanted answers. I remember being awaken by the loud commotion going on from the living room, so I decided to go check. I went out calling for my parents, but to my surprise, I only saw my mom on the phone crying from the reflection of a mirror. I wondered where my dad was. I got closer towards the living room and stood by the wall. I witnessed my dad sitting down on the floor having trouble to breath complaining about chest pain while my mom stood next to him. We were balancing along beams on the side of their driveway. We were doing hurkeys and high kicks on the trampoline. Then when I was on the beams I heard loud sirens that was very close to me. Halfway home I saw this woman crying over something ,but I was not close enough to see it. Being the nosey person I am I just had to go see what the big fuss was about. Not the best idea ,but I still went on with it. I walked up to the women the tapped on her shoulder; when she turned around I was frozen we fear. The object was no long unidentifiable ,nope it was as clear as day that the women had been crying over a dead guys body. I was petrified, I could not think, talk, or even begin to understand why this beautiful women was crying over this dead body. So I asked her, “umm..ma'am… are you ok?”,she did not answer the first time so I poked her again and asked “do you want me to call 911?” that's when she finally reacted. The women went ballistic on me and began to call me very mean names she jolited up and made a move as if she was going to come after me so I did what everyone would do...run. I ran till my legs gave out. I stopped when I realized I had no clues where I was and did not have my phone on me. My head was spinning I know that this is when I was going to die. I did not have it in me to keep on going; my feet were bleeding from these heels that I somehow still had on. I was just about to lose all my hope ,but then I saw bus stop and decided I needed to sit down and rest. I had not realized just how tired I was until I felt my eyelid flider

Lying in bed in the middle of the night while sleep eludes me, a noise breaks through the silence. Oh my God! What was that!? Maybe it was just my imagination, or maybe it was just the house settling. There it is again! I must be hearing things. I get cold and my body starts to shiver uncontrollably. I peek to where the sound comes from and I could swear I see something through the dark room; it appears even darker than the surrounding area. Oh my! I think it just moved. My breathing becomes labored and I pull the covers over my head, trying to calm myself down while making my brain work through what just happened. Was I dreaming? Or did I just see a ghost?
