Personal Narrative: My Favorite Place In Louisburg

Have you ever expected an unfavorable outcome from an experience, yet were shocked with the best? Nashville, Tennessee is the city where I was able to realize that I have the potential to do great things with my life. It was the middle of June at the 2016 HOSA International Leadership Conference, and I was sixteen years old. At this time, I had been dealing with anxiety and depression for so long that I never thought I would be able to make an accomplishment that meant something to others and myself. This trip helped me realize that I am capable of more than I think.

Stadiums are a source of power for the NFL because they generate a lot of revenue as well as show off the the teams responsible for constructing them. The new stadiums that are being constructed are filled with some of the most intricate designs solely to display the power of the NFL. It also had a 3 story, 850,000 square foot indoor baseball facility that included high tech film rooms to watch game tape, batting cages, an indoor kickball stadium, plus a pool, and a wiffle ball stadium as well. Just being in this complex made you feel like a top tier player. That Tournament brings back good and bad memories that I will remember forever. The place that brings all of the fans together is, Jack Trice Stadium. Jack Trice Stadium was built in 1975 (“Try Trice”) and it is one of the many important things that make up Iowa State University. There is a lot of history behind Jack Trice Stadium and it is apart of the Land-Grant Tradition.

Summary: Southwestern University is a state college in Stephenville, Texas. The college is known for its Football and have been in the top 20 in the rankings since the appointment of legendary Bo Pitterno in 2001 as the Head coach for the team. The coach requested to upgrade the stadium or construct a new stadium to accommodate the large fan base. This request was heard by the SWU’s president, Dr Joel Wisner, who decided that they would upgrade the stadium based on a forecast of when the current stadium would max out.
