My Favorite Place in Louisburg The town of Louisburg is not necessarily the most visually appealing town of all time. Other than several fast food restaurants, good barbeque and the town Wal-Mart, there is not much that Louisburg has to offer. Louisburg College, believe it or not, does have its perks. As a current baseball player here at Louisburg College, it comes to no surprise that my favorite place here in Louisburg is Frazier Field. It is truly an honor to call such a beautiful facility home. Compared to other junior colleges throughout the country, Frazier Field is one of the nicest facilities around. There is truly nothing more beautiful in Louisburg, than Frazier Field. Frazier Field is truly a work of art. The field sits promptly on top of a hill on an island of its own. Several other sports facilities surround the stadium, none of which provide the same …show more content…
We are surrounded by well groomed bushes that perfectly align next to the pathway. Our coach has ordered us to stay on the pathways at all times to honorably respect all of those who have put the time and effort into constructing this wonderful walkway for us players. The sun sits perfectly in the sky along with the occasional cloud that passes through. The field is very well manicured and taken care of immensely. Frazier Field provides a solid seating area for the fans. The field contains several rows of blue stadium seats right behind the home plate backstop. Each blue stadium seat is dedicated to a particular person, coach, or player that has left a significant impact for the baseball program or Louisburg College in general. There are also bleachers that are installed on the left and right sides of the stadium seats. The atmosphere at the games are always very exciting. Fraizer Field simply provides a homey environment for all of the spectators who want to come out and watch a good ball
Have you ever expected an unfavorable outcome from an experience, yet were shocked with the best? Nashville, Tennessee is the city where I was able to realize that I have the potential to do great things with my life. It was the middle of June at the 2016 HOSA International Leadership Conference, and I was sixteen years old. At this time, I had been dealing with anxiety and depression for so long that I never thought I would be able to make an accomplishment that meant something to others and myself. This trip helped me realize that I am capable of more than I think.
Mark Lauber, a Wharton School of Business graduate, founded Branchburg Sports Complex (BSC) in 2008 after selling his and his father’s previous venture to another company. As a lover of sports and family entertainment destinations such as Disney Land, Mark envisioned bringing the “wow-factor” that these world renowned destinations possess to the realm of sports centers. BSC is a 78,000 square foot facility consisting of four indoor turf fields, basketball courts, training center, multi-level PlayMaze, arcade with redemption center, batting cages, and a three-floor 9,000 square foot interactive fantasy-themed laser tag arena. Advertising “fun and excitement for the whole family,” Mark truly provides activities for all demographics. He
One reason why the NFL continues to grow in power and profitability is because teams are building new stadiums. Stadiums are a source of power for the NFL because they generate a lot of revenue as well as show off the the teams responsible for constructing them. The new stadiums that are being constructed are filled with some of the most intricate designs solely to display the power of the NFL. The most recent staple of designing a new stadium is to create an element that is unique to every new structure. Over the last 10 years, seven new stadiums have been built by different teams around the league and each of them has something new and unique about the infrastructure. While all of these
The green seats and the ivy growing on the left-center wall help the park to look both open and natural, much like the first ballparks did at the beginning of baseball.
Its prime location along the shore of the Allegheny River takes advantage of scenic vistas of the downtown skyline and riverfront, creating an exciting and dramatic urban sports venue.

Zable Stadium, home of the William and Mary Tribe football team, is right in the heart of the Virginia city of Williamsburg. Travelling a few miles from Williamsburg, you find two thrill-packed amusement parks; Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. Busch Gardens is approximately 8 miles south-east and features roller coasters, including Griffon, Alpengeist, and Apollo's Chariot in its nearly 400-acre site themed around European cities. Water Country USA, 8 miles east, is a 60s surf inspired water park with wave pools, slides and river rides. Wine lovers will enjoy Williamsburg Winery, offering tastings and tours of the 300-acre site, just 6 miles south of the city. While visiting the winery, treat yourself to a meal at Cafe Provencal, where
It also had a 3 story, 850,000 square foot indoor baseball facility that included high tech film rooms to watch game tape, batting cages, an indoor kickball stadium, plus a pool, and a wiffle ball stadium as well. Just being in this complex made you feel like a top tier player. That Tournament brings back good and bad memories that I will remember forever. My favorite memory is in the semifinals I hit a ball so far it most likely has not landed yet. It was also a walk off home run, so all my teammates dog piled me when I touched home and gave me the famous ice
When we think of college we think of life changing experiences, studying, meeting new people, going out, and, of course, sports. College athletics has become a huge part of college life. The joy of seeing your college team out on the field brings complete happiness to your eyes. Although someone may not be a fan of sports, they still love sharing the excitement with their peers. The place that brings all of the fans together is, Jack Trice Stadium. Jack Trice Stadium was built in 1975 (“Try Trice”) and it is one of the many important things that make up Iowa State University. There is a lot of history behind Jack Trice Stadium and it is apart of the Land-Grant Tradition.

49,250 seats, all filled with orange-dressed alumni, students, friends, families, and visitors. An enclosed dome; full of life, excitement, and 5 division one athletic teams, located in the heart of Syracuse University. Yes, I am talking about the famous Carrier Dome, Syracuse University’s home sports stadium.
I have spent copious amounts of time in communities stricken with low socioeconomic statuses, less fortunate than the usual neighborhoods I see in Pikesville. The experiences has engrained a strong moral compass into me, leading me to have a solid goal; of beautifying and bettering areas of destitute.
"Hydraway understands the pressure facility managers are under, and works with each manager to find the right solution for their needs. Fields must be attractive, ready for use at any time and healthy. Anything less and the team may suffer, which is unacceptable in the eyes of all. Our partnership with teh St. Louis Rams allowed us to find the perfect solution for their specific
