My informational interview with Karissa Page was held on the 27th of September. During our conversation, the majority related to her transition from a college setting to the working world as well as her experience going into a field different from ones major in college. I sought her as my real reader because of her experience doing as such. These topics were appropriate for our conversation because Ms. Page’s field of interest is in Public Health, while I am interested in conservation biology as well as her majoring in Biology and Psychology in Undergrad, while I am going to be completing a degree in Molecular Genetics & Psychology. During our conversations I expressed my desire to learn from her post-undergrad experience.
I was surprised to learn that we had in fact more in common than I had through before hand. She had been unsure of her path after college like I have been during her senior year. She did not really know what type of program she wanted to get into until after Christmas break. Hearing such was

I would also try to ask more questions regarding her opinions on how to better come across to an admissions committee, we talked about what mistakes were commonly made in the papers that she has read, as well as the parts of the job applications that are looked at the most but not really in regard to my papers personally. I do not think that I shared enough information about my future job because we talked more of plant genetics than animals. Perhaps I did make this information clear however, because when she sent an email after the phone call she noted that I was more interested in animals and recommended some programs for me to look into. The best way to have combated this, may have been to direct the conversation more towards my interests. Yet, this may not have been an effective conversation plan because we are in different
I interviewed Ashley Porras, a Licensed Vocational Nurse at Sharp Rees Stealy. She gave me background information of how she got into the healthcare system, great advice and what she does on a daily basis. The reason I chose Ashley as the person to interview was because I got the chance to spend the day with her at work and I loved it. I found it interesting what she did and got the opportunity to learn more about her, her occupation and where she see’s herself in the future. Someday, I would be an LVN and gradually get higher in the healthcare field like she is doing now.
Because I am not certain what career path I intend to pursue, it was difficult to determine an appropriate person for my informational interview. However, following the advice at Quintessential Careers, I focused on my possible career choices (Quintessential Careers, Unk.). What I found was that I was likely to be involved in some type of work involving domestic violence, though I am still uncertain of the nature of that work. As a result, I decide to interview Sarah Buel. Sarah Buel is a noted attorney in the field of domestic violence. Currently a Clinical Professor and Founding Director of the Diane Halle Center for Family Justice at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, Buel was one of the names that came up most frequently as I was looking into the field of domestic violence (Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, 2012).
Speakers. However, I did feel some may have been there because they were famous, but nevertheless still gave insight to networking.
On Wednesday, January 25 at 10: 30, I interviewed Stephanie Moret, a graduate student at Northern Arizona University. Ms. Moret is an English major, with her specific graduate program being Rhetoric, Writing and Digital Media. Her thesis focuses on how using social media could solve problems with understaffing, specifically in her hometown. Hopefully in a few months she will be able to put her thesis to the test back home, where she hopes to get a job with the city. She will help with their social media and marketing department, as well as overseeing their aquatics department. I met Ms. Moret my first semester at NAU in English 105, where she instructed me on how to write a wide variety of essays both individually and collaboratively. I chose to interview Ms. Moret because I am currently unaware as to what I want to do career wise, however, I know that I will be

I can’t give you the whole denotation about me because there is no single definition about me. People have many different ideas that characterize how they perceive Mikayla NaSya Lewis. Even strangers create their personal ‘Mikayla’ in their mind, and all of those different concepts of me create who I am and what I represent.
Lauren Rezac- My weekend did not really start off to exciting. Right after my Fast-Pitch game I was picked up by my dad in our 1962 jeep. When we got home we had supper and we all stayed up for a little bit and went to bed. On Saturday I had the house to myself, my dad was helping our neighbors while my mom and sister were in ST.Cloud.So When I was at home I was pretty bored so I did what most bored kids I know would do turn up the music and make a little mess, basically I made slime. When mom and Alexis came back my sister got a call from my dad to go help out so I went with her.I helped by steering the tractor when she got bored and she did the speed and stuff like that. On Sunday we gave mom her gifts then we got ready to trapshooting me
I have had many great mentors that have stood out in my life thus far, but I have one lady that really stands out. Her name is Tina; I know her better as Ms. Hicks. She is a kindergarten teacher and Glee Club director at the middle school I attended. I came to know her really well when I joined the Glee Club my sixth grade year. She is so selfless and always puts others before herself. I just began watching her one day and realized that I wanted to be just like her. I began to volunteer in her classroom the last period of the day because I want to be an elementary school teacher as well. I decided why not learn form the best. Throughout the year, I learned so much from her. She taught me that students can learn and have fun while they
On June 6th (this is our friendiversary), we met at Bob Evans. Before this meeting, I was extremely nervous because I did not know what to expect. I remember the meeting being a lot of information that I would not understand until I started my career the following August. Our meeting at Bob Evans lasted four hours and there was still more that need to be talked about. At the end of our meeting, she handed over textbooks and the NGSS guide so that I could become familiar with the new standards. We agreed to meet up again once we received our school keys for the year.
I apologize for a late reply. I wasn't in my office today, but I'll be back tomorrow. I need to check Hunter's student file before answering your question. I remember that Hunter is one of our new students at McBride and another ELL teacher had assessed his English proficiency. In general, students are eligible to receive up to five years of English language support if required.

I am Karen Larsen, and I think that I am very qualified to hold the position of drum major in our high school band. Last summer, I attended a leadership seminar where I learned how to be a leader and take control of situations. Ever since then, I have been more outspoken, more willing to take responsibility, and more prepared to take on situations and act quickly. I have been section leader of the alto saxophones since sophomore year and band president my junior year. I know how to lead a group of people, and I am now prepared to take on a larger group of individuals.
Inessa Burenok was a supervisor at one of the schools where I taught English while I was in Ukraine. I wanted to interview her and learn a little more about her and her culture. Ina was a little quiet and reserved when we first met, but it was hard to say goodbye to her when I left because of how kind she always was and we grew to be pretty good friends. I wasn’t able to meet up with Ina to interview her in person (for obvious reasons) and our easiest way of communication is by email so that’s what I decided to do.

I am most impressed by Anna's willingness to help in any situation. She is a dependable and reliable person who is always eager to aid others. Through her work with a special needs program and as a lifeguard, Anna has shown her dedication towards helping people. Every time I see Anna, she always greets me with a friendly smile and has a very warm and approachable demeanor. Anna has been a consistent program-goer and has supported many of the floor programs that we have held.
