One day I was playing across the street at my neighbor's house and we were having fun jumping on their trampoline. We all decided that we should play gymnastics. My sister was the coach. Kaitlyn my neighbor was a gymnast student, so was her little brother, Nick, and their even younger brother, Trent. I was a gymnast student, too. We were balancing along beams on the side of their driveway. We were doing hurkeys and high kicks on the trampoline. Then when I was on the beams I heard loud sirens that was very close to me. An ambulance was going to my house. I was getting really scared and anxious to know what happen and who it was. Then I saw my mom walk out looking just as scared as me. The paramedics got out the bed and pushed it into my house
group of young athletes. I knew then, that gymnastics was the sport for me! I continued my gymnastics
I was woken up with mom at the foot of my bed saying “Wake up sweetheart wake up” it is a beautiful day in Canada witch is where I live. As I get the gunk out of my eyes so I could so my mother clearly and I ask her what was wrong because she had never woke me up at 5:45 in the morning with out it being bad or something happened to the family. I got scared and my father, sister, and brother came into my room and was saying.“Calm down your going to be okay just pack your clothes, some of your personal items, and some food NOT caned food". Next I was getting ready and Carter my brother came into my room witch he had never done and told me him and dad would protect Kelsey, mom, and myself. As I walked into the kitchen we all picked different kinds of food and water. We started walking out the door and I said "Wait I need my picture of all my friends so i would remember them"so I went and got it.
My imagination took over my sense of reason because I thought someone was outside as i was home alone but in reality it was my little sister outside knocking. It was on Friday night all of my family went to my aunt’s house around 7pm. I was doing my homework in the living room and the only noise that was in the house my music but it was very low and i was finishing up my homework i kept hearing banging noises. At this point my
But how it all happened to me was terrible. I was sleeping when I heard a crash from down stairs. At first I thought it was my dog running into things again but then I heard my parents screaming. I was terrified more than ever before in my life. I quickly ran into my closet where I hid behind a few boxes. I then herd steps coming up stars then in the hallway leading into my room. I could hear them at my door. All I wanted to do was scream and run but I couldn’t I was too scared to move. The
I thought I was gone died that day cause I never experience’s something like that before. We open the washroom door there were two huge trees in our living room and the roof cave in. My mother start screaming and crying, and the house down there street was all gone, but it was some houses that didn’t get hit. I come out and I could do was fall on my knees and start crying until I just couldn’t cry no more. My mother hug me so tight and I said I love you so much and I told her I love her too. There were power lines down in the street so my mother sent me for help and as I’m walking in the street and I see this lady on the ground and then I run to her to see she was ok but it was too late she was already gone that’s when I knew she were dead. I didn’t know what to do so I found this blanket that I found in the street and I just cover her body. That was my first time seeing a dead body without it being in a casket. I couldn’t find nobody so I headed back home and told my mother what I did and she was in shock. But there was houses that didn’t get that’s when the neighbors came out and everybody was asking are you ok. I was so mad I didn’t want to say
We were all scared. My grandpa, dad and I running straight into the track. The only thought there was in my mind was, he isn 't okay. Making sure that he turns over and lays on his back as someone calls 911, I left to go get the cart from the trailer. As I left the track to get it, I start crying, fearing the worst. I run back the track and have my dad help me put the car on the trailer cart and pull it back to the trailer and run back to my uncle. As I got back to my uncle, he was talking some intolerable words. After a few minuets, I heard my name from him.
Most of my life I was consumed with the sport of gymnastics. I remember the rush I would get as it was my turn to compete in front of the cheering crowd. In those moments nothing else mattered; just me, the chalk on my calloused hands and the equipment in front of me. I have competed in gymnastics ever since I was five years old. I spent six days a week in the gym practicing all year round and even volunteered part of my time to a community program teaching gymnastics to children. Gymnastics had a tremendous role in shaping me into the person I am today and it is what also lead me to want to become a Physician Assistant.
“Boom”!! Immediately my parents came upstairs like they were going to go run a race, and like they were going to win. They saw my door opened. My sister came to my room with her phone, and says” should i call the doctor, or should I call 911, or wait should I go get your phone and call the doctor”. “Go get my phone, and call the doctor as quick as possible” dad reply after hearing my sister Brooklyn talk a lot. And then, they heard someone knocking on the door and that was the doctor so Brooklyn opened the door, and while she was opening the door they tried to wake me up by calling my name a millions of times. But, wait I think you want to listen to the whole story.
My cousins, my sister, my brothers, and my aunt watched as the paramedics packed up their things. They had taken everything back into the ambulance outside where there were police cars and a fire truck. Everyone in my neighborhood had come outside because they heard the sirens and spotted the police cars. Many people had walked up to my sister and my aunt to ask what was going on. She quickly gave them a brief summary and we watched the police cars, the fire truck, ambulance drive off. My aunt and cousins told us to take good care of my mom and they slowly walked away. As soon as we could faintly hear the sirens, we walked back inside to check on my

It was an exciting, sunny spring day, when my fifth grade teacher, Miss Owen told the class that we had an assignment to build roller coasters. We were going to start in science, but it was at the end of the day! Miss Owen announced when students from Miss Owens class walked in that we were going to build roller coasters in science.Everyone thought that the end of the day was going to be the best part of the day. Everyone was so anxious to start and no one could wait.
Ever since I was six, I have been doing gymnastics. I started when I said to my mother “I want to do that” with my high pitched little kid voice as I watched the gymnasts fly around the bar. My little sister had started me on the path of gymnastics because, ironically my sister wanted to do gymnastics and I never planned on it. As my mom parked the car, all I could see was this tall and large building made of bricks
Life is a roller coaster. Throughout the duration of this short ride we call life; one can experience exciting and exhilarating highs, as well as terrifying, seemingly heart-stopping drops. However, everyone’s ride is different; every individual person on a different roller coaster. Some people’s rides are a lot smoother than others; while other’s rides are so turbulent one would think the entire roller coaster as a whole could come crashing down at any given moment. My life was a lot like the latter of those aforementioned two, and in many aspects, it still is. I have had my fair share of personal struggles that undoubtedly caused a generous amount of distress, however, the ups and downs of my rollercoaster are one of a kind in their own right and without them I would not be the individual I
One early morning, I woke up to a faint whispering in my parents ' bedroom. Of course, the nosey eight year old girl I was, I was trying my hardest to listen in on what my parents were saying to each other. I thought maybe it could 've been a surprise for my birthday, Christmas, or some type of gift. But, the next thing I knew, there was an awful loud siren going off and flashing lights outside of our house. There was so much racket going on. Then, everything is finally quiet again. The sirens are gone, and so are the flashing lights. What happened? I thought to myself. Next thing I knew, my mom was yelling at me to get some clothes on so we could drive to the hospital.
2012 Midland City, Dothan Alabama. At the age of eight years old. It was a hot day. So hot you could see people cooking up in the sun. That didn’t stop us little 3rd graders from playing outside, on the playground. On the playground there are some gymnasts bars. Their is a small one, medium one, and a large one. I was the Queen of the small and medium gymnasts bars. This day I was going to attempt something new. Me,Samari(my sister) and Evan are doing the gymnast bars. All the other kids are watching and cheering use on. I was doing so many moves I felt like I was a gymnast. The rules were who does good moves on the small bar would get 100 points, the medium bars equal 1,000 points, and the large on equals one trillion. Everybody know that no one would get on the large bars but boy were they wrong. Samari was doing the small and medium bars Evan was doing the same thing. I got up on the large bar and hung upside down. People started to cheer.
