Pretty good, we are only one point ahead of them though. The only reason we have been ahead is because The coach hasn’t taken me out of the game yet. Juliet. Aren’t you tired? How can you do that without passing out? I can’t even run 1 mile without being so tired. Romeo. Wait, what are you doing here? I thought you left for Maine. Juliet. I never went home after school I needed to see you again. I couldn’t leave without a goodbye. I have to be home by 1 to leave for Maine though. Romeo. I can’t let you leave yet. Juliet. Well maybe you have the chance now. If we can convince them that we have been in a serious relationship for a long time now maybe they won’t make me move now. Maybe we can convince them to wait until next year. Romeo. If you can convince them to wait until tomorrow than we can meet and hopefully you will be able to stay. Juliet. The only issue with that plan is that for it to work you would have to be dating me. My parents wouldn’t let me stay for just some random person I just met. Romeo. Then I guess we should go out. Juliet. What do you mean? Romeo. Will you be my girlfriend, Juliet? Juliet. Yes. [Enters Coach] Romeo. I… Coach. Romeo! Get over here, now! Romeo. I will be there in a minute. [Exits Coach] Juliet. You better go so you don’t get yelled at. Romeo. Please try to get your parents to stay for at least one more night. Juliet. Only if you promise me that you will meet me tomorrow morning at 10. I will text you if I am leaving. Romeo. I promise. I will be waiting outside your window at 10. Juliet. What if they say no and we leave. Romeo. Then I will follow you and move to Maine. Juliet. But what about school, college, your family. Romeo. I will find a college in Maine. I will do anything to be with you. Trust me when I say that even after meeting only once that I love
Aristotle proposed what is believed to be the first definition of a true tragedy. Specifically, he states that a tragedy triggers great pity and fear caused by the main characters’ actions alone. Likewise, a true tragedy lacks coincidence and fate plays little in the overall play. William Shakespeare writes the play of The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet in which the audience knows the destiny of these two tragic heroes from the very beginning. Although this play is tragic knowing that the lives of two lovers are lost, it is not a tragedy as Romeo and Juliet are not solely responsible for their own deaths. Destiny is determined through the hands of greater forces than that of Romeo and Juliet, making this play merely tragic and not a true
When Juliet finds out that Tybalt has been killed and Romeo is in exile, for killing Tybalt, Juliet feels both passionate about Romeo and disappointed in both Romeo and herself, which reveal her inner struggle. In Act 3, Juliet’s Nurse comes back with this news that Tybalt is dead and that Romeo is such an awful person for killing him. Juliet fights back at the Nurse, and herself, for speaking bad about Romeo. She claims, ““Shall I speak ill of him that is my husband? Ah, poor my lord, what tongue shall smooth thy name, When I, thy three hours' wife, have mangled it? But wherefore, villain, didst thou kill my cousin? That villain cousin would have killed my husband.” (3.2.99-101). This shows that Juliet is passionate about Romeo, because first of all, she says that she was wrong to say bad things about her husband.
