S Is For Soccer
I think soccer is the best sport in the world by far because everyone knows how to kick a ball and let it roll to someone. I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and before that my dad used to play with my brother and I would be held in my dads arms so I knew what to do for when I played the sport. I have played recreational since I was 4 and played until I was 7 because when I was 7 my first club coach asked if I wanted to play for a club team, and since then I have been playing club soccer. I thought I must have been really good because I was 7 playing with 8 year olds so I was really excited and since then I wanted to become the best soccer player around. When I played my first year of soccer I volunteered
Soccer has always been a love of mine. Without soccer I would be a much different person; it has shaped my identity. I have had many injuries that have restricted the amount of time I was allowed to play soccer, and while I was sitting there on the
Soccer is, by far, the best sport in the world. Many might disagree with this statement, but I think that soccer should be considered the greatest. The fans cheer louder, there is more blood, sweat, and tears, and soccer requires you to think more than different sports. The passion between the fans and the players is indescribable unless you experience it first hand. There are many reasons to why soccer is the best sport, some being: it is the most popular sport around the world, it is one of the hardest sports to learn and pick up on, and I have been playing soccer my entire life so therefore it has to be the best.
Growing up I had focused on competitive soccer. Soccer challenged me both physically and mentally and I learned to love these demands on the field. These challenges helped me foster a self-confidence in myself when it came to athletics. When I fractured my tibia playing against my rival high school, sending my knee cap into my thigh, I was faced with a new test. The sport that I loved was taken away from me for an extended period of time and it took away part of my identity. Who was I without soccer?
When I was three years old, I began playing a sport that would change my life forever. Throughout my life I have tried just about every sport available to me. The one that stuck with me and that I continued to play every year was soccer. It was the love of my life. I loved everything about it from the sweet smell of the fresh cut grass to the most exhilarating feeling of scoring a goal.
Soccer is a competitive sport. It's also a very physical sport that requires a galore of determination. With tryouts being even more competitive, will a scrawny kid be able to make it?
There are many sports out there but soccer is the best. Soccer requires a lot of abilities. Soccer requires jumping abilities. Have to have strong Legs for running. Have to have strong body to not fall that easily. Soccer is a worldwide sport. Soccer can be played anywhere. Soccer can be played in any session. Soccer can be played indoors and outdoors. The rules in soccer are easy. You can’t go offside. There is corner kicks to make a goal. There is yellow, Yellow means it a warning and red mean you are out for 3 different games. In Conclusion, I think out of all the sports soccer is the best.
The Ohio travel cup our soccer team is 2-0 in it. We beat Lagrange 3-1 and Twinsburg 3-2. We were about to play the hardest game of our lives. Belpre from south east ohio they haven’t let up a goal yet and are 2-0 like us. All we needed was one win and we are in the finals. They had the best offence and defence and can pass around any team like there's no tomorrow. We walk up to the field feeling different. We knew we were going to need to adapt to their play style. The game started the players just out worked our team. They were faster and stronger. They go around us like we were a leaf against the wind we had no chance. They scored again and again. It was now 4-0, 1 min left in the first half we couldn’t do anything against this first-class
Soccer is my favorite sport. I started playing soccer when I was five years old. My dad coached my team, as well as all of my other brothers, up until we became ten. By that time I went to tryouts for club. WSA was a great club, and that’s where I started my advanced competition soccer. I made it to a select level team, and it was a great first year. I met knew people and we played tournaments in the summer, but had regular season games in the fall. I was on U-11 which meant Under 11. I continued playing with WSA from U-11, my first year, to U-14 when they merged with the Timbers. When I was playing at U-14 the club was completely different. Much bigger, many knew faces, players and coaches. I had stayed on the same team all of those years
Soccer is an awesome sport that most people love to play! But soccer involves lots of skills you need to know. Especially the scissor, the scissor helps you get around the other team and their defenders. Some people have a lot of trouble doing the scissor and need to learn it so their comfortable doing this skill. Before learning how to do a scissor some equipment will be needed. Soccer cleats to help yourself grip to the ground, possibly shin guards, socks to cover your shin guards, and a blown up soccer ball, make sure it’s your size!
The feel of the wind on my face, the rush of the blood pumping through every part of my body, the
Soccer has been my passion ever since I was a young child and my love for the game is always growing. I have gained a lot of experience and knowledge of the game by playing with various teams, but I know there is always more to learn. Watching how hard people, such as the pros, work for what they have reached inspires me, which is why I always try my best in practice and try to improve everyday. I try to be the most hardworking player in practice and in the games, but as captain of both my club and high school team, I try to encourage all of my teammates as well. Living in a small community, far from bigger oportunities, I feel like I haven't been able to fully show more people what I'm truly capable of. I believe that because of my determination,
My team has been working really hard in order to get to the finals for the soccer league. We trained, played cooperatively, and tried our best. This game meant everything to me and my team.It decided the victor for the soccer league. If we didn’t win the match it would feel like all this training was a waste of time.
When looking back at the game’s conditions, it was just an unusually hot, sunny October morning, but during the game, it felt like the heat had taken away all of my energy. This soccer game was an important one for my soccer team as we played one of the toughest teams in our competitive league, although no one on our team knew that before the game. This was because of the first time we played them it was the easiest game we had so far in the league so far because of superior skills and tactics. So, our team walked so confidently around the field that it looked like we had already won the game before it even started. Even though we knew that they had more bigger, athletic players on their team and weather conditions were hotter than the first
Soccer and a park, throw in some friends and it magically becomes fun. I can tell you this without a doubt because I did this myself on Friday. When I got to Emerald Glen, I saw that Vince, Justin, their dad, and Matthew were already there playing soccer on the grass field by the skate park. I went ahead and joined them, and we did some simple offense and defense drills. After a few minutes of that, Vince and I played a weird little game that seemed like a soccer version of volleyball while Justin, his dad, and Matthew kicked the ball around to each other. While we were playing our soccer volleyball game, me and Vince talked about random little things like how there’s a Fawaz A and Fawaz B, But there isn’t a Fawaz C or D. Later, we took turns at the goal while the others kicked.
First Chapter, my memory from childhood. This was back when I was in middle school. There was a small park in my neighborhood, and everybody used to hangout at the playground. There was a small soccer field and basketball. I always used to play soccer in neighborhood park. I played with my friends and with older guys. One afternoon, my friends and I decided to play soccer. When we got to the fields, we saw new people had come. There were lots of people at the park from other neighborhood. We usually played 7 vs 7, because it was a small field. Since there were extra people we had to play 9 vs 9. I wore my soccer gear and started stretching. We started warming up for the game by running and passing the ball. We started the game and after couple minutes we score one goal. I was performing pretty well that game and I was showing some skills. It was a fair game between us. We had good players in our team and they did too.
