Personal Narrative: Seeing For The First Time

Most people are all grown up when they finally figure out what they want to do with their life. I was 4. I realized what I wanted to be when I attended my very first Rodeo. Even though it was so long ago I can remember that day like it was yesturday. That day got me on the path to my future.

How can something completely visual be described to someone who cannot see? What is a flower without its bright hue? What is the significance of a rainbow after a thunderstorm? Color is an essential piece of the world; without color, we would so easily become jaded with the dull grey of our surroundings.

When I applied for C.R. England I was not sure that I would be accepted to go through the program. Three days later I received a phone call from a Recruiter at C.R. England and while on the phone we went over all the information before setting a time and a date for leaving for Salt Lake City, Utah. When the day came to leave for Salt Lake City, Utah my parents took me to the Greyhound terminal to prepare to leave. Thirty minutes later we boarded the bus to leave our first stop was in Missouri I stayed on the same bus and from there I went to Kansas where I had to switch buses but I had to wait one hour before the other bus got there after boarding the bus for going to the next stop I was in Colorado where I had to wait two hours and thirty minutes before boarding my next bus to Wyoming once I got to Wyoming the next bus was ready and it had no air conditioner that I remember so the last bit of traveling was so warm that everyone on it was hot even a eight month old baby everyone tried their best to help the mother out to make

As we close out the 43rd game of the season, the Phillies drop to 15-28. As the pitching woes continue, it's tough to look on the bright side. I’ve always been an outsider, it’s been hard for me to build friendships and relationships. Not too long ago, there I sat in the corner of the room in the way back, trying to hide from the world, and be myself. I didn’t really want to get involved with anything or anyone. I was afraid to open up, talk to others, maybe because I was afraid to get rejected. In 2025, I will be twenty-nine years old and hopefully married. I will be married to my significant other of ten years Earnest Palmer III, who is a dentist. I would have been recently graduating with a bachelor’s in Culinary Arts and trying to plan to open my own restaurant, BubbaD’s Eateries. Knowing my big headed husband of mine, I probably had a baby then and trying to have another baby. Hopefully, by then Earnest will get rid of the idea naming our son, King. We will be living in the suburbs near New York City but working in the city. Being a woman with great memory, I probably wrote a memoir about my crazy life and trying to sell it to a publisher. On February 27th, a plane heading to San Jose with five people on it suddenly crashed in southern California. The two houses it landed on immediately erupted into flames because of the jet fuel. Luckily, no one was in those houses, however three out of the five were killed on the plane, while the survivors just had injuries. The people on the plane had consisted of a husband, wife and three teenagers going home from a cheerleading competition at Disneyland Adventure Park. The competition is suspected to be the Jr. USA Nationals, but unfortunately will not be a celebration to them anymore. The names of the people have not been released at this moment. Many bystanders of the crash have taken to social media to share the horror of what has happened. Undoubtedly, the passengers will never be the same again.

When I was young my Dad would always remind me of how important these years as a kid are. He would always say watch how you act as a kid, for it will set the stage for the rest of your life. So many people I know ruined their lives when they were kids. This small, yet so important statement runs through my mind everyday. My first item is a picture of my mother’s side of her family. I picked this picture purely for the fact that it captures most of my mother’s side of the family, except for myself and 5 other cousins. The following picture was taken in Multan, Pakistan, however the date is unknown. This picture was taken before my family moved to Australia, and it shows how much our family has grown. I like this picture because it reminds me of the hardship my family went under moving to Australia, because when my family moved we only had $20,000 (AUS) and scarcely spoke the language. Once we moved my father worked hard because he would work overtime just to feed our family.
