All I could see was boxes getting packed. My mom is asking me to finish packing my room. Then we have my grandparents coming over and filling our car. The cars were full of boxes. That is the day that I learned that you should be flexible. Ever since that day I have been flexible and worthy to change. I started to red in the face, did not want to help, I wanted to start putting at the boxes in the car bringing it to my old house, and I was not listening to anyone because I loved the old house. Then I started to get over it because I knew I would like this house, but my little sister crying and I told her it would be fine. Later in the day I was thinking that it had more room, colorful space, bright, loving, that we weren’t done with it,
I, Deputy Gough received a call reference a white Ford truck driving in the Gamester trailer court all over the roadway. Upon my arrival I spoke with David Vore and Jennifer Vore. Jennifer Stated that Randy was the driver of the white Ford truck that said, “All Good Construction.” David and Jennifer both stated that they saw the truck drive through the yard hitting a slow child at play sign and the stop sign.
Starting high school can be a little scary, especially when you have no guidance from siblings, like me, being the first one from my family to have an education. But that did not stop me from succeeding, I?ve always been confident and determined. I?m an enthusiastic when it comes to trying new things. Who would have thought I was going to be a good athlete plus a book geek, when in my past years I was just a regular kid. I was pretty excited about joining a club that had a connection with high school, that way I didn?t have to start from zero, I always want to be a step ahead. Fortunately, in summer, a high school coach was recruiting freshmen for running either cross country or track, they both involve running, so I considered it like the same sport with different timing. And this is when it all started. Running
“What are we going to do! What about my graduation?” Linz repeats frantically over and over, as the daunting reality slowly sat in.
My current strengths according to the LifeStyle Management Health Risk Inventory, is that I am punctual in seeing a primary care provider, whom I have seen in the past two years, it was suggested that it is of vital importance to do so, as a PCP can provide helpful information about my health and how I can improve any health problems I may have. Another strength of mine is that I get the flu shot on a regular basis, it is important to do so, as the flu virus does not spread to those who I am around and protects me from the virus. According to the LifeStyle Management Health Risk Inventory, my BMI is 21.03, which puts me in the healthy weight bracket, maintaining my weight in a healthy range will lower my risk for heart disease, cancer and other
Obstacles and barriers are positive reinforcements that help shape and mold individuals. Individuals face innumerable conflicts and barriers throughout their life span; some of them causes dismay, while others successfully manage to bring out the best of a person’s ability. Just like everyone who has set foot on earth, I too, have encountered obstacles. The obstacle which brought out the best in me was when I migrated to the United States and faced difficulties communicating with others.
Summer vacation, and school ends for about three months, and then you have as much fun as you can, then back to school… right? Well I had to go to summer school, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Everything was going fine, I had a job after summer school, and that was going fine as well. They say that summer is supposed to be fun and exciting, and it usually is for me and my family. However in July my father started coughing up blood. My father usually doesn’t make it his top priority to go to the doctors, so he waited about four weeks until he really didn’t feel good.
Writing has been something that we have always had to do in school. My writing process and techniques have changed drastically since I have entered Writing 1310. When I first set foot into the classroom, I was a good writer, but I didn’t know format too well. As I went through the class, I improved on my writing skill, process, and format. In this paper, I am going to discuss my improvements in skill and my writing process, as well as the changes I have made throughout this course.
There were many people in my life that got me to who I am today. My family and friends were the main people that influenced who I am. There were many events that influenced me but the most recent one is picking early college.
Were you scared to come back from Rome and face you mom? I was worried she was going to be really upset with me and she was, but I think she realized that if I wouldn’t have done what I done Preston would have died. Also deep down she probably knows that she would have done the same thing if she were in my position, but most of all I think she was just happy I was alive and ok.
I was ten, the most terrifying event I had been through was riding the little dragon roller coaster at the fair, but that night changed it all. The fear that started in my head spread like wildfire to the rest of my body from the tips of my fingers to the bottoms of my toes. My heart was racing so fast that it could have beat Usain Bolt in a 100m dash. Stop, drop and roll, three steps that should have come naturally, but instead I froze, looked down at my yellow and black checkered flannel in complete terror, fearing for my life.
How do people become the writers they are? How do authors come up with such exhilarating things to write about? Where does their inspiration come from? Those are some of the most commonly asked questions aimed at successful authors. The most common people to ask those questions are the people who want to start writing their own stories. I know because I was once asking those same questions. So I decided to cut the rope that tied me down and travel into the world of wonder and mystery........my dreams. Thats where I got most of my inspiration for my books. So one night I had such an intense dream I couldn't stop thinking about it. Than I had an epiphany! I would start my own dream journal. As I filled my journal more
This summer was pretty interesting and a tad bit boring. I sort of learned a little bit more about myself and how I could deal with things. Some things got a little rough along the way but that’s life for you. Everyone hits that rough patch in life at one time and point.
One time I learned something about myself was when I was in California with my family. When I was about 15 years old, I was boogie boarding with my sister. While I was doing this a big wave came in and it pushed me under and I got separated from my family and my sister. I didn’t realize that I got separated from them until I decided to get out. Being separated from your family can be a stressful event but after that I learned many things about myself and how I should react in a situation like that one.
“But I think that role models also start in the home with the parents.” - Dominique Wilkins
This year I have learned many things about myself. I have realized that everything is not given to you. The harder you work the better your grades will be. Also you must always make sure you check your grades and turn everything in. This year learned it is best to do everything by yourself and to not rely on others. I have noticed myself evolve into a responsible young adult. Also, my patience has improved tremendously. All of these changes have been good and helped me to become a better
