My strength is leadership and civic engagement. During group projects I am the one to take charge and lead my group to success with an organized plan. I am also involved in keeping our community amazing, through my church’s Youth Group and NJHS. In NJHS we clean up the streets, organize collection drives, and last year we made fleece blankets for nursing homes. In my Youth Group, we volunteered with Sweet Dream in a Bag to pack new bedding for underprivileged children and we made fleece blankets for the homeless. I also am involved in packing for Food for Hope, which collects and gives food to children in the free/reduced lunch program to eat on the weekends. With all of these activities, I am improving my community and I hope to continue all
I believe that my strength are that I am a fast leaner. I do not give up easily, and I also make sure if I am going go to do something I do it to the best of my abilities.
My greatest personal strength is that I am comfortable speaking to large groups. This will enable me to clearly give information and guide the ensemble effectively in any situation.
My greatest strength is my motivation to take on challenging tasks that help me step out of my comfort zone. In High school, I was in JROTC and took on the responsibility of taking two leadership roles as the Battalion Adjutant and Color Guard Commander. As the Battalion Adjutant, I was in charge of processing cadet’s records and administrative data. I ensured that all necessary paperwork was properly completed in a timely manner to make our events successful. As the Color Guard Commander, I led and mentored a group of 8 students and taught them basic drill movements. We presented the colors at various events such as football games and special ceremonies. Through my 2 years of experience in these positions, I learned how to take the initiative
Another personal strength would be my experience. I was lucky enough to be the trumpet player for the Synergy Jazz Foundation. This foundation did all the things that I would like my foundation to do. Me and other students from across the metro had the opportunity to perform at local venues such as the social club, opening for big names brought in from around the
Another strength of mine is my passion and enthusiasm for the field. This trait is something I pride myself in and means that I put 100% effort into everything I do. My passion is evident by the autistic patient I work with. I give extra assistant with this patient because I want to and not because my supervisor requires me to. I volunteered over the other techs to be included in all her
I think that one of my best strengths is that I can get along with people. Going to a large high school has led me to become the mediator in a number of situations and I learned how to make people feel better and prevent future conflicts. This is a very important skill to have in the community due to the fact that most of my life is in the presence of other
A third strength I have is an inner drive to be able to stick to a task and get it done. Whether it is at work or at school, if I am assigned a task I make it a point to work at it until the task is done. If a deadline is presented in front of me I have something inside of me that forces me to keep working on it until it is completed and not just completed but done first the right way. Which leads to another strength that I have is a strong work ethic. In my profession in recruiting what I do reflects me and the company that I work for. When I go to recruiting events or career fairs I represent the company that I am there for. Everything about me such as my demeanor, my dress, my attitude, etc. reflects the professionalism of the company as well as any reports or products that are produced and put out by me. I take pride in my work and
Current strengths: I have developed respect for the views of others and I am able to show empathy (understanding).
My second key strength is showing gratitude to others. If someone does something for me or helps me develop a new skill. I show gratitude to them by thanking them, and I tell them that really appreciate their help. I am there for that person when they need my help.
As a teacher-leader, I have been assigned a number of wide-ranging and important informal roles in my career thus far that have enabled me to support and contribute towards the success of not only my students, but also my department and my school as a whole. By assuming these diverse leadership roles, I have been able to develop professionally, improve student attainment, positively influence the teaching and learning practice of my peers and contribute towards the culture and ethos of the schools I have worked in.
In addition to my personal challenges my personal strengths interfer. A personal strength I have is talking , I love sharing my opinion. Another personal strength I have is giving good advice because I love helping people solve their problem or help make their lives easier. Lastly another personal strength I have is just listening because I am a good person to vent to because I don’t judge. Therefore I always spread positivity and lean a hand.
My personal strengths are that I am a keen learner and organized person because like Benjamin Franklin I believe that if I fail to plan then I am planning to fail. Above all I am confident that I have made the right choice and that I am a suitable candidate for
I like to think I have many strengths. After review of my character/ personality test, I can see what they are. I am a task-oriented leader, which drives me to finish a project. I have a strong individual work ethic, which allows me to be responsible and not rely on others. I am good at building and leading
Throughout my four years at Bryn Mawr, I have been able to bring my biology background into fields I never thought possible. One of my proudest and most impactful contributes I made utilizing my major was being able to coordinate the Overbrook/Parkway Tutoring program, which is part of the Civic Engagement Offices. At first glance, it would seem that Civic Engagement may have nothing to do with Biology but in fact what allowed my advancement through the program was my background in the biological sciences. Many of the challenges students face in schools are being educated in STEM fields. Many of our tutors are humanities or social science majors which provide an invaluable service as well. However, at times, when a student needs help with
The biggest strength I have is to be creative with the situation that I am given. This in not only a skill that suggest that one can synthesize material to give it a sense of authenticity, but also can adapt and accommodate in the moment. Even the best planners can have a poor classroom dynamic; the rigidity of these classes is what prevents them from engaging students in the moment. I genuinely believe in effective planning and mythology but I also believe in breaking from the script and to accommodate the needs of learners in creative ways.
