I am aware of the hard work and perseverance necessary to complete graduate coursework, and that this endeavor requires discipline and dedication. I understand that I will need to be diligent in managing my time. I consider myself to be mature, perceptive, and highly motivated, qualities which I believe are necessary for graduate
Starting college in August of 2008 was completely different than what I was expecting. My parents loaded up my car and sent me on my way to gain a college degree and experience life on my own, but looking back over the situation, I tend to ask myself numerous times do I think I was ready for college and the responsibilities that were to come along with it. Each time the answer was no. Being the first person in my family to go off to college away from home, I had no idea what to expect, or how to handle the things that come along with college life. Needless to say, it took me several major changes and me leaving my first university and transferring to one at home for me to get a handle of the situation.
Growing up in a small town, with the knowledge of a small town community can have an effect on you. Having the respect and dignity to know between right and wrong adds and interesting aspects into a life style. Growing up in a small community makes you realize what it is like to have small class rooms and having your teachers know you by a first name basis.Knowing everyone on each sport team because “everyone knows everyone in a small town”. I had the ability to be able to ride my bike down the street without a real question of my safety where I grew up in Worland Wyoming. I have different academic interests than others may, I enjoy different extracurricular activities than other students, and life experiences that are unlike anyone else that have shaped me into who I am today.
Ms. Bennett reported that she felt she was managing her schoolwork relatively okay at school. However, she stated that when she was in her forth grade, the school involuntarily placed her in Individualized Education Program (IEP) even though she did not feel the need. Ms. Bennett admitted that she is in fact a slow learner, but that she felt “indifferent” from other students. She reported that the teachers from the IEP did not do anything to teach the objective material but allowing a group of students, including Ms. Bennett to watch a series of movies during class for the entire grades since the beginning of the placement. She described that no one was encouraged to learn in the IEP classroom, and furthermore, their classroom was located in the back of the school behind all the classrooms for the regular curriculum as if the students in the IEP were not important. Ms. Bennett explained that she was able to obtain passing grades regardless of what she did in the classroom.
I have chosen a business related course as I have been interested in this field from GCSE level & I believe that I have the qualities to forge a successful career in this area. I have been inspired to fulfil this path by my Uncle, a director at a successful company in England
On Tuesday, September 9, 2017, at 9 P.M. in the Alumni room I attended a meeting for Student Government Association. During this meeting, I was sworn-in to have a seat on the Student Government board as a senator. I learned that Student Government is a very important association on campus and serves many purposes like keeping West Liberty University a great college to attend. In the Student Government meeting, we discussed several different things like budgets for clubs, homecoming, and our goals for the year. I believe being a senator for Student Government will benefit me in many ways such as giving me a great extracurricular to put on my application for the Dental Hygiene program or any other program, activity, or job I would like to apply
In the past five years I have learned more about humanity and humility than any paycheck would ever be worth. Over the course of these five years I have worked full time at Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital, gaining invaluable experiences along the way. I have witnessed the entire spectrum of psychiatric disorders I studied during my undergrad. Seeing individuals, first hand, struggle with their illness was like putting a face to a name. I have been fortunate enough to interact and contribute to the treatment of patients struggling with schizophrenia, major depression, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders, among many others.
I vividly remember the day I understood what the equation “E=mc2” actually meant. The sudden realization had a deep impact on me. Everything was not the same anymore. Irony, because everything had the same beginning; only the string of events that distinguishes the stars to what we see around.
Client came to treatment due to his anger issues and suicidal attempts, he can become explosively angry and aggressive towards others. Some love Mozart. Others prefer The Beatles, Johnny Cash, or Eminem. For me, however, the most beautiful sound in the world is a basketball dribbling on an old, wooden gym floor.
Prior to college, I never had GPA. The schools I attended stimulated and focused on the love of learning, not a grade. I developed a passion for the process of learning and being curious, going beyond what is required to gain a thorough understanding. With this mindset I have approached my undergraduate years and plan to approach my graduate school education. It is my love for education and curiosity to discover new things that keeps me infatuated with atmospheric science. Additionally, it helps maintain my focus while faced with difficulties in both my professional and personal
I have chosen to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Management from Franklin University. I decided on this degree as I have spent the past seventeen years creating a career in the I.T industry, for one of the largest financial institutions in the world, and feel that this would present me with more opportunities for growth. I believe I have the technology knowledge and experience now, and I want to show that I have the leadership and management skills that will take me to the next level. This will also, hopefully, lead to promotions and more influence within my department, as well as the financial benefits that accompany them. My wife returned to school as an adult learner when she was 26 and obtained her
While writing a compelling college essay may seem to be a daunting task at first, I believe that the key to generating a unique and moving topic is dedicating effort early in the writing process to personal reflection on your goals and motivations. Often, in writing personal statements for colleges and other applications, I set aside time to dedicate to focused reflection about events or moments in my life that illustrate my values or identity. In terms of the mechanics of an effective personal statement, I typically utilize the “zoom in, zoom out” method, which involves recounting a specific anecdote early in the essay, and then demonstrating how this anecdote contains lessons that apply to greater aspects of your motivation or identity. Through
There is no other part of your application that you can control as much as your law school personal statement. Phenomenal personal statement writing will isolate you from the ocean of hopefuls with comparative scholarly capabilities. Practically equivalent to a meeting, law school personal statement writing ought to present the qualities and achievements that make you a person. Try not to compose a rundown of your resume or transcript, yet rather use this chance to develop what is remarkable about you, your backgrounds, and your objectives
I graduated from San Jose State University with a business administration degree with an emphasis in management. My undergrad program focuses on developing the skills and techniques to analyze problems and create solutions in all aspects in the work force.
I am a Senior at Joliet West and I am writing to express my interest in being an Alpha Omega finalist. After reading the attactched materials, I have realized that my dream to major in buisness law would be perfectly highlighted by having the honor to represent the 2018 graduating class.
