Personal Professional Goal falls in line before strategies are planned to accomplish them. It is a part of the critical reflection process to cater our learning. This requirement is fulfilled when my learning is identified and I learn how to set my own Personal Professional Goals with SMART values. I have constructed 3 Personal Professional Goals in relation as a special education teacher in a secondary school. These goals are to be effectuated in 2018. As I will be completing my course in early December 2017 and joining back school in Mid December 2017. The process of re teaching and the student’s hurdle in mastering the lesson is time consuming. Here, AT can act as a savior to handle such situations. Thus, they will get an opportunity of a lifetime to travel timely in their learning process balancing their excellent participation in other activities in school. Genuinely it’s one of the ultimate way to break all the barriers in learning by facilitating them with the most appropriate assistive technology. Touching on Inclusion Program in my home country, it is extensively different from western practice as we shortfall in support service. Therefore, after familiarizing with the AT this will enable me to suggest these students to Inclusion Program. This move will assure us taking a step further for these children who have great thoughts race ahead of their capability recording down words. The deficiency of a Support Service will be filled by AT. Besides that, in my experience I have also witnessed this type of dyslexic students battling with frustration, stress, demotivation, depression and lost self-esteem. So, this goal promises them a brighter future.
My second goal is I will strategize Integrated Learning for the first 10 minutes of my Physical Education(PE) lesson (twice weekly) consisting 10 Special Education Students with Learning Difficulties (Moderate Disability) assisted by 2 Special Needs Assistant with a lower secondary mainstream class (15 years old) consisting 30 students
I completed my BS in Human Services in March 2015. Since that time, I have been researching many colleges fluctuating between the MSW, MFT and Mental Health Counseling degrees. I consider my graduate school decision to be a positive life-altering decision requiring much thought, and research. After an extensive amount of research, and phone conversations, I have decided to pursue a Masters in Marriage Family, and Counseling Therapy.
When I think of my career goals, I ask myself what I want to accomplish in life. I know that I love helping patients and families, and I want to continue to do that. I always am changing my mind on what I want to do after my BSN. I don’t know when or if I will get my masters or continue to work at the bedside for a while. I love what I do and what I do for other people and families. Working in the critical care unit feels like home. I get to do what I love.
A long term educational goal for me was going back to school after 4 years and a second child. I kept putting it off for months and months .I was extremely intimidated due to the fact that I had two kids to support and; I would only be able to work part time. Finally I had to drive to greenwood to see the dermatologist and I said that would be the day I go to Kaplan. To make sure I reached my goal I started by cutting down my work hours and keeping in touch with my advisor. My goals were achieved after a month and I was proud it made me feel like I could achieve anything as long as I put my mind to it.
Growing up in rural Oklahoma, I have been involved in mission trips, Oklahoma’s Project under 21 program, Crossfit, and local community child care centers. Being involved in my community, I have been able to maintain professional relationships by communicating effectively with compassion and patience. This enabled me to stress the importance of daily dietary and hygiene needs and its impact on overall general health. These experiences have instilled a passion in me, which ultimately led me to pursue a career in the dental field. I learned more about the field soon after working with those community child care centers. I researched dental hygiene as a potential career by exploring articles on the internet,
Like many adult learners, choosing a major is often difficult. With there being so many degrees available and a number of fields to choose from, we often worry about making the wrong choice when it comes to picking a career field of study. This proved to be a definitive struggle for myself, especially early into my college experience but there was always something inside of me that longed to help others. This made my decision to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing through the accelerated program, a no brainer once I discovered that there was still a way for me to obtain a nursing degree after spending so many years’ prior, pursuing others.
For the first year I would need $5,745 for tuition, $10,196 for room, and $1,300 for books $865 for fees. I should be considered for this scholarship because I want to be successful in college; I don’t want to be stressed for lack of money. I know I haven’t been the best student but I guarantee that I will be in college. I guarantee that because I will study so hard and keep my grades up so I can be successful.
I have chosen to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Management from Franklin University. I decided on this degree as I have spent the past seventeen years creating a career in the I.T industry, for one of the largest financial institutions in the world, and feel that this would present me with more opportunities for growth. I believe I have the technology knowledge and experience now, and I want to show that I have the leadership and management skills that will take me to the next level. This will also, hopefully, lead to promotions and more influence within my department, as well as the financial benefits that accompany them. My wife returned to school as an adult learner when she was 26 and obtained her
A degree from Flemming Center’s Healthcare Management program will provide me with the knowledge to apply management problem-solving skills to improve health systems and influence health management and policy decisions. The diverse faculty background in management and policy will enhance my educational experience by providing me with the resources needed to succeed in this field. I am particularly interested in working with Dr. Aday. Being the first in my family to graduate from college and pursue higher education, I would enjoy speaking to her about her experiences with this as well as her success in being a leader in healthcare. In addition, Flemming Center offers a variety of resources to prepare its students for life after graduate school. For example, all
My S.M.A.R.T goal for the next few months is to be distinguished. I plan to take notes for every class lesson and review for study purposes. I will study for every test coming up, no matter how big or small. I will pay attention and focus on the task or tasks in front of me and not drift off. I will ask questions on anything I need help with or don't understand. I will make time and review my old work and notes a week before the milestones. Using my knowledge, I will try to score a four on the
Ever since a young age, I have aspired to become a strong, hard-working woman. Throughout high school I have gone through some personal trials that have tested my own belief in accomplishing my dream, but perseverance led me to Central Michigan University. People say that every challenge you face will make or break you, and I believe that Nouvel Catholic Central made me into the person that is here today. With all the occurrences that have led me here today, I will go forth with tenacity and determination to persevere through my college years into becoming the professional I believe I can be and face any obstacle that may come forth with steadfastness and indefatigability.
I have a passion for people. More specifically, I have a passion for broken people. This deep love stems from my own brokenness and from the healing I have received. I have made many mistakes in my life that have threatened to overwhelm me. These mistakes have taken me down destructive paths from which I did not know the way back.
In ten years I see myself playing football or basketball because I love to play sports. I know I will never give up on sports because i would love a job that is one of my most favorite things ever. You know everyone in the world wants to have fun and get paid for it. But if i had to choose between one or the other I would pick basketball because I love to run and I feel like i’m really good when I score. And I love playing with other people.
Where am I? My primary goal is to obtain my engineering degree. I would love to achieve a GPA anywhere between 3.5 and 4.0 by the time I graduate. In addition to a good GPA I would like to have experienced a few internships in the engineering field, so I can have a good hands on experience before committing to a full time job. I would like a starting salary that is no less than $40/ hr. Although the pay seems inadequate due to the time and money I would spend achieving this career, I would settle for $40 an hour as my training phase. My first job would help me gain knowledge that school didn't teach me, after I've had prominent results in the field I can ask for a raise or get another job where the pay is higher.
One of the challenges that can occur within integrated classroom is students with learning disabilities academic needs are not being meet. For teachers to successfully enforce integrated classroom they need all the same resources a special education classroom receives for the students. What can occur unfortunately classroom population for teacher and student’s ratio is increasing, and can have a negative effect for student academic performance. For a classroom to be successful the classroom size matter because classroom size has a great impact on students education, and when the number of students is reduced to a small portion teachers are able to give more attention to students. (Boyer, 122-123). When students are in inclusive classroom the effect that has on students is important to take into consideration. In a study conducted by *****, measured students with learning wellbeing when they are placed in inclusive classroom, the finding were, “ … Special Educational needs presented lower level of subjective wellbeing. Specially, this study highlighted the low scores in terms of life satisfaction, health related quality of life and positive affect, and the higher score regarding negative affect in these student” (****, 89). When students are placed in integrated classroom, unfortunately the teacher has a large population of students that those with learning disabilities are not given the attention they need to grasp the lecture and to pause to review the context. This can
Generally speaking, I would prefer to work in a productive or protective capacity. Either capacity will consist of an innumerable amount of work that needs to be done. As a result of the workload, my work setting will always be positively occupied, thereby creating more constructive conversations. With that mindset, I am more interested in the legal and educational fragment. Both sides require me to be fully equipped and knowledgeable. It also allows me to interact with life changing, eye opening topics as well as expanding my knowledge to produce information to those I interact with. In that regards, I plan to further my education to acquire the requisite and rightful degrees to pursue a career or careers in such fields.
