When starting to choose for your career the first thing you want to do is start thinking of what your interests are when looking for a career because knowing what you like can help eliminate jobs that you wouldn't choose like for example if you're more of a hands on person you wouldn't want a job just sitting down doing paper work all day you would most likely want to do something more physical like work on machines, mechanic, or be an athlete that would be very good for a hands on person. Another interest is if you're a thinker you would want a job that that use a lot of brain thinking this could be a lead to being good ar math or analyzing data because jobs like that use a lot of mind thinking. What do you want to be? A question we are asked from kindergarten on up. For some people, the answer lies with them there whole life until they are able to pursue that dream. Others aren't able to choose what they want to be or do until the day comes to make the decision comes. As for me I made my career chose my sophomore year of high school. Although I didn't choose just one possible candidate I have boiled it down to two careers. The first being a Chiropractor and the second being a Physical Therapist.
Choosing a career you would like to pursue for the rest of your life can be quite the hassle. You have to consider your strengths and your weaknesses along with the changing economy. If you do not take into consideration those things I just said, you might be unhappy with the career you chose. The career I chose to pursue is a medical laboratory technician. A MLT is a person that performs medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease. During their job, they analyze bodily fluids, conduct blood tests and transfusions, examine cells stained with dye, record test data, take care of laboratory equipment, consult with pathologist about abnormal cells, and collect
Deciding on what you want to be or do for your career is a difficult task everyone faces

Have you ever wondered why you couldn’t take a class at school that truly interests you, such as learning about the culinary arts or discovering the ins and outs of being an emergency medical technician? Vocational education is an option that is becoming increasingly popular for students seeking a wider variety of class choices. Sometimes, when people hear the words “vocational education,” a negative image pops into their minds. Many people believe that vocational education is primarily offered to non-college bound students, dropouts, or students with special needs. What people don’t realize is that vocational education can give students the opportunity to improve their employability skills, become informed about different career options, and learn helpful skills they can use throughout the rest of their lives even before going to college and being released into the real world. Therefore, I believe that vocational education should be offered to students.
Life is full of decisions. You have the choice to decide what you want to do for a career. Thinking about what career that you want to pursue can be mind boggling but for me it was an easy task because all of my life I dreamed of becoming a Medical Assistant in a doctor’s office, in fact I use to go to work with my mother when I was a little and watch her work. It was very fascinating watching her work. After going to work a few times and seeing the work that she was doing, I knew the career path that I want to take. I was so smitten by the work that she was doing that I would pretend that I had my own make belie office at home. I would find myself trying to type, file papers and answer the phone.
Even though many people have said to me that it is alright not to know what I want to do, I still worry about it. Recently I have thought that either graphic design or architecture would be nice because I enjoy designing things, but I am not sure that either of those things would actually make me happy. I know I want to be able to enjoy my job and make enough money to have a good home and support a family, but with both of those careers I would most likely be required to move away to find a job. That is something I would really rather not do.
Choosing a career is a hard decision especially being so young. Many people choose what they want to be when they are younger. Finding a career can be hard because you never know what is right for others. Most people choose a career while being young then turn out to not achieve there goal.
My whole life I have always wanted to do something where people will remember me. I went threw millions of career choices before I came to the conclusion of a nurse. It’s not something that will get me into History books, but its something where all the people I help will remember what I did to care for them or their loved ones. My mom went to school to become and RN, but dropped out when she became pregnant with me. After that story was told to me, I didn’t want to be anything related to nursing. It wasn’t until my step mom went to school to be LPN that I realized it would be possible for me to do. I saw how much happiness it gave her, and I want the same thing. She loved helping the patients by treating them, and helping their families
For the longest time I could not decide on a major and a career to study throughout college. When I came to Georgia Southern University I discovered that they had a major that was very interesting to me. Sport Management id the ideal major for my interest and me. Since I love sports I figured that this would be the career for me. A degree in Sport Management helps to prepare for success in sport related occupations.

Throughout your lifetime you will eventually have to decide on what career you want to begin your journey on. In the United States and around the world, many individuals will choose their career path very early in their lifetimes in order to attain the job position that they desire. With this being said, one must carefully plan and modify their lives to prepare for what the future withholds. For instance, in order for me to achieve my long time goals of becoming a software developer and/or a computer system analyst, then I would need to continue patiently walk along the bumpy path on my laborious, lengthy journey. Lastly, the following careers that I’ve set my eyes on will embark us onto a prolonged life excursion.
Choosing a right career path can be tough. Especially, when the parents are involved. Parents want their children to have a better life in the future so they want their children to be educated. When they are successfully graduate from the college they can get a high paying job and earn much more than their parents. However, does everyone listen and follow their parents’ decisions about the career? What happen if kids didn’t want what their parents told them to do? Is there a compromise and or one side needs to give in? It was a tough decision for me too. There was a lot of pressure on me. I was hesitated and somehow worried when my parents were involved, but I knew what I want for my career.
