Is their enough space for the two of us?
Stars, mankind has been staring up at them for thousands of years. Over those many years dreams and mythology have been created to explain those lights in the heavens. Mankind grew sick of just staring, and decided to find ways to discover more about it. Eventually over hundreds of years mankind has, been able to send men to the moon, launch satellites into space, and even send rovers to Mars. These feats of science would have been unimaginable hundreds of years ago, and to others that heard of it was only science fiction. With all these accomplishments, it seems humanity has a bright future of further discovery, but a recent development has surfaced regarding Space Exploration. That debate regards the future of space Exploration, and whether or not It should be continued through NASA or private companies. Various opinions have come from all over the scientific and astronomy concerned world. Others side that NASA should continue its lead into the future, because of its contributions to discovery and the scientific world. Others blame that NASA’s lack of progress in previous projects has lead to a disbelief of Nasa, and a turn to Private industries due to their smaller budgets and recent success. Even some see a balanced future of NASA working with private companies, and even healthy competition that will allow a faster progress into the future. Mankind has always had the desire to reach the unreachable, and it cannot go forward
This year I have decided to write about a topic that has been untapped for a little while. It's come to my attention ever since I've seen the documentary posted January 13 2016. Pbs special (where are we in the galaxy. A documentary about space travel the documentary spoke about current projects as well as not so current. ever since i little i always believe that outer space has made for the gods that's because back then i had a religion that i stood by the force of faith can really isolate people from something that we see every knight like the cosmos no matter how well you hide you cannot escape something as powerful as the grand pool of mysteries that is the cosmos people have always been influenced by that stars whether it's Galileo
"I would like to die on Mars. Just not on impact."- Elon Musk. Space exploration is tough. The slightest problem can turn what seemed a successful mission into a disaster, making it imperative to prepare for every possible situation. As such, there is a great demand for high quality engineers in this field. I plan to be one of those engineers, and Washington Aerospace Scholars is one of the best opportunities to help me accomplish this. There is a lot I can gain from it; however, it does not come without difficulty. WAS requires dedication, strategy, and commitment to succeed. I believe I can offer these through my diligence towards STEM, time proven work ethic, and experience in similar courses.
5,4,3,2,1 that is the sound that most americans hope to hear again, and same with NASA. NASA believes that american citizens should fund space exploration so that they could fulfill the dreams of the moon landing but instead with Mars. The funding of space exploration has helped the U.S. in many ways. Funding for space exploration maybe difficult and costly but it will work out in the long run. For example NASA plans to develop more into their Mars mission in 2020. This goal though can only be achieved if NASA receives the right funding they need to create the technology. Space exploration should be funded by the U.S. because there are many benefits to the space exploration like discovering materials such as new medical knowledge and creating new useful technology.
In 1957, the two Cold War rivals, the United States and Soviet Union, competed for superiority over space traveling abilities. The dispute over who won the space race is unimportant, because both countries brought new advances in technology and inspired millions around the world. However, space exploration should not continue because it spends millions of tax dollars that could be used on Earth, and because it could disrupt and destroy the planet.
If Earth was in trouble and we needed to find a new home, where would we go? Mars One is planning to send two crews of people over to Mars to start a new nation, a new colony. Mars One is a program that isn’t apart of NASA and they are funding a expedition to Mars so they can start a civilization, because they believe that we will run out of resources and room on Earth. The opposing sides are trying to establish whether the trip is a suicide mission or a possible new home for us all. Our claim about Mars One is that we agree and that it is a good idea to go and have that amazing experience and that if you think that it is a good idea and you are on board with it you should put your say in Mars One.
We need to head back to the moon so that we can hone our skills and technology for the more demanding trip to Mars and other yet unknown challenges”. The government states that NASA should do all the interstellar work and that Obama should cancel the program. The program will determine whether NASA is useful or not. Obama’s program is for a greater good the society in finding a new world
Today, we have many problems on earth . Political , economy and many more. The one or main cause this problem is money. Who has money , will dominating a part of this world. Soon or not, money will controlling the world. Goverment also can’t do anything to people who gloring this world by money.
NASA has stopped space exploration because they don’t have anymore funding, so they’ll ask private organizations to give money. Many people believe that the government should spend money on anything else, such as fixing the environment, rather than funding space exploration. While I do support the fact that space exploration could take years before we get any type of new discovery, I also support the fact that the Earth is aging and we cannot stop that so we need another planet to live on before the Earth dies off. If the Earth is going to die off anyway, why not fund the space program so we find another planet? When we get to the new planet, we can either take care of that one or continue to find another planet to live on. Rather than spending
“Space exploration is a force of nature unto itself that no other force in society can rival.” The famous astrophysicist and astronomer, Neil Degrasse Tyson, once said these powerful words. What Neil Degrasse Tyson meant is that space exploration, is unlike anything else as it compels people to explore and discover the unknown. It gathers interest in science and it’s many field, which is the foundation of society and the the future. Space exploration can solve many of the problems caused by humanity and further develop society. Ever since I was a child, I have always admired outer space with all of its stars and comets, and wanted to learn more about space. I have done more than sufficient research on this topic through various websites and articles on the Internet. Firstly, I will discuss the progression of technology from space exploration. Then, I will
Human curiosity has always been drawn to the wonders and mysteries of what lays far beyond in outer space. Our imagination has taken us far beyond what we cogitate and answers to some of the mysteries of our universe are now taking shape. The reality we witness is stunning in its beauty and humbling in its complexity and expense. In just a half-century we have left the protective cradle of our home planet Earth, walked on another celestial body, peered into the far reaches of our universe, and enhance our knowledge by understanding certain laws and properties. Our minds have always reached above the clouds, but only now do we have the tools and capabilities needed to learn what is out there and explore it ourselves. Several space programs and administrations have ascended. For example, one of the world 's biggest and well known space program is NASA. The principle of this program to work is the contribution of money the U.S.A has contributed. Therefore, over the course of the years people commence to address the question as to whether NASA should continue to be funded. Certain people are skeptical as to whether they want their tax money to go into spacecraft and tools for NASA to continue to explore the universe. Quarrels and arguments among people have surged. Various people reason that we should continue to fund NASA because of all the tremendous accomplishments made in previous years. However, there is the dissenting group who argues that it 's a waste of money and time
On this webiste, there is a variety of different facts and real-life images taken from space vehicles and people
Do you know that we may be able to go to mars? Except for it will be a boring, dangerous, and sicken us. Although it might pay out and make us be able to live and populate mars, explore new elements, and possibly animals/aliens.
Why did Columbus travel west? Why did Marco Polo head east? Because it is that pull, that unknown, that prospect of adventure that compels humans to seek new frontiers to explore.
Mankind has always been fascinated with exploring the unknown. From sailing to distant lands to someday setting foot on other planets, the spirit of exploration is the same. Bur now with the current economic situation and the high cost of sending people to space, NASA is being looked at as a way to free up some much needed funds. Although, there is many problems here on planet Earth that need addressing, the benefits of space exploration far out weight the disadvantages. Space exploration has given us more advanced technology, advances in the medical field, and a boost to the economy and these facts cannot be disputed.
Faced with the potential opportunity to continue my research into space exploration, it is time for me to prove myself worthy. As a superior researcher, I find that I am most deserving of the chance to be funded to travel back in time and see firsthand what the reaction of the public was to the early space missions, among other possible uses of the trip. Your funding of this mission could be critical in finding out why a large percentage of the population sees space exploration as a “waste of money.” Upon learning why this may be, the information could allow me to help create a more effective space program that has the full support of the public.
