Humans and nature will forever have a connection, but as time goes on the connection weakens. Innocent animals are being hunted, killed, and murdered. The price to pay for a missing species is more than we can bare. This is severely damaging our environment and not only hurting the animals, but ourselves as well. The human race is capable of change; but it will take time, which is something these poor animals do not have. If we want to protect our world, we will have to move and fast. Extinction of these species can be prevented and our future generations can enjoy this wonderful planet as it once was.

Not only does this cause endangerment but also makes them uncomfortable and scared in their new home. When animals become scared they can be vulnerable and easy to kill. The species number then reaches to an all time low and is not able to reproduce anymore in the wild ("Endangered Species," 2016).

People also don't think about how much we use animal products. Large companies have been advertising and creating new ways to kill animals and use them for food, fuel, and clothing products. For instances, the horn of the African Black Rhinoceroses is very valuable and used for many things. There are thousands of hunter and poachers in Africa hunting them and causing their species to become closer to extinction. These same events were taking place long ago when white settlers first migrated to the West for more food, land, and resources. They came across Bison, which covered the vast plains of the West. They soon came to realize they could hunt the Bison because their bodies are used for countless resources. Shortly after Bison had become endangered due to over hunting in the 19th century. Not only did this endanger the Bison but other animals as well because they were dependent on Bison for main food sources. The same circumstances stands today. Many of the imperiled species today, not only affect us, but other species as well ("Endangered Species," 2016).
